  Everything I put in My Documents directory is converted into read-only, so all my files in this folder (especially my PDFs) cannot be opened OR downloaded/sent online. I tried to use cmd and Type attrib - r "c:\users\myaccountfoldername\documents" but nothing works, document folder still has that little padlock on its icon. I also gave everyone full access to this folder, but whatever I do, I can't change the property "read only". Even if I uncheck that manually in the properties, it continues to go back.

  I looked for a solution now and I still have solved it. I ignore it if I could, but I put a lot of important and frequently accessed files in my library of Documents, so I really need to get this figured out soon.

  I just bought this laptop about a week ago, it came with Windows 8. I'm not sure but I think that this problem happened to me when I joined the homegroup on my local network and began to share files so that I can transfer my old files from my old laptop.

  I finally understood what was causing the problem!   Only solution so far has been to give the iMac user an admin on the MacPro account, then everything they create is not read-only.

  It works but it's not the best of ideas for them to access the system files and you have.

  Is there a way to make the iMac to create files that are not read only without obtaining the server version of Mac OS x or giving them administrative rights to the Macpro.

  All this is down to the property not sharing or perrmissions.

  in the dialog box get info select "property to ignore on this volume."

It is always the responsibility of the third party developer, which provides an addon which hangs in firefox to make it compatible with new versions of firefox.   I use Adobe Creative Cloud 2014 with Photoshop, Lightroom 5 and bridge on a Windows 7 PC.  When I try to upload photos, my camera is not listed in the window of the Photo Downloader in bridge or Lightroom. I see that my computer recognizes my camera because it is listed under devices and printers.  I changed the settings it so it does it automatically download Adobe Bridge when the camera is connected, but so far nothing. I had to reinstall Norton 360 this morning and I wonder if that is involved somehow.

  Hi Murat. I've got it sorted. The camera is a Nikon D5100. Drivers for my USB ports were damaged in some way, so I uninstalled the USB ports and restarted the computer. Windows installed new drivers and it's all good now. If anyone reading this has the same problem try look in Device Manager and see if there are few points of exclamation next to your USB ports. If so right click on them and uninstall them and then restart.

  I already searched for a while and found another thread in this forum, as well some information in the official documentation, saying that the SOUL only installs some options, export if it is not installed in the correct package of applications (such as first or sequelae).

  Well, I did install as part of the Master Collection and also have the first and AFX running.

  The initial installation was a horrible procedure because there was that even a few photoshop cs6 beta persistent file around and just would not leave, even with the CS cleanup tool.

  When I finally managed to install CS6, everything worked fine, except one major flaw... When I export a file of first a QuickTime, everyhting works as it should. But when I hit 'send to SOUL', the right preset quicktime does not have its way over the Media Encoder, but I have only h264 and 4 other formats of your choice. Just not QT available. (I'm on a mac).

  I already tried to install the whole package during the original installation, but it did not help. I also have CS6 installed on my macbook, where everything works perfectly fine. I compared the record of media on both machines encoder, and it is identical in size. In the library, I wasn't able to find any media encoding related files.

  Please, does anyone have an idea how to mount export QT in the soul up and running again without going through a thorough cleaning of my system and reinstall the whole? I am in the middle of a project now and would really like to have it work.

  (it worked before in cs5, btw)

  I had the same problem and I've basically stumbled upon this fix. Search for the file named AddExporterList.txt located in

  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media encode CS6\txt

  Save one original copy somewhere else. Copy/paste or delete as needed to make the new file looks like this:

  # MediaCore Plugins

  # SOUL Plugins

  AudioWriter

  WinMediaWriter

  # SOUL Plugin Formats

  MPEG4

  H.264 Blu - ray

  Press on save and reboot the SOUL. Voila! It worked for me and I hope it will work for you.

  Looks like you have an effect of contour enabled in the layer styles. You should see it under the layer affected if this is the case.

  It is a nuisance GPU. Update your GPU drivers from the manufacturers Web site.

  In the meantime, disabling "Use Graphics Processor" (Preferences > Performance), should help to load the module development.
