  If the issue is not yet resolved and troubleshooting is exhausted, the technician worked with that you should have referred the case to an elderly person or a software engineer.   Glad to hear that the unit starts trying to print now.  Looks like it's starting to go in the right direction.  With the problems you are having it sounds like this printer may need to have internal firmware back to zero.  I will send the information on how to perform this reset in a private message.  Please check your Inbox for messages in the forums.

  Before performing the steps of resetting, please read Bob_Headrick wire on the printer reset, found here.

  The reset may be able to get the device to begin to work as expected when you print jobs.  As for the print quality, the cartridges may have some ink blocks ports.  Once the printer comes up and functioning more normally I would recommend to continue forward in the document print quality troubleshooting linked above.

  If file > save as will work not (web page complete), then probably the simplest method is to download CutePDF Writer, which is a small handy utility that allows you to create pdf files by "printing".

  After installing CutePDF Writer, just print the receipt as if you were going to print on a sheet of paper, but when you see the print dialog box select "CutePDF Writer" from the printer selection window (you may use file > print rather than clicking on the icon of the printer in the toolbar).  A dialog box opens asking you to specify a file name and location, and then a pdf of the invoice will be created.

  The HP Deskjet Ink Advantage series is limited to specific markets, and only available in some countries in Latin America, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific, ink cartridge for the printer can be bought in in the regions where the printer is sold, there is no compatible cartridge for your printer in to the Canada or North America.
