  On the right side of this window, a vertical bar which has 2 horizontal black lines down there.

  Windows Live Mail does not groups, but you can get much the same effect by using the categories. Here are a few comments that should help you: what happened to contact groups? Although they are part of Windows Live Mail 2011, you should be able to adapt to the 2009 version.

  The most simple thing to do in email.  Just highlight the sections that you do not want (address headers, in your case) and press your "delete" on your keyboard.

  If you used a service connected to access your contacts from another email address, you can add information but not to change the information,

  Assuming that we refer to the outlook.com.

  Click on your user name / image at the top / right,.

  Click on account settings,

  And then click permissions on the left column,

  Then at the bottom click on Manage applications and services connected.

  You will need to access the original source of the e-mail contacts,

  Or do the right thing and disconnect the service and export the contacts to a csv file and import them into outlook.com, then you can edit / delete at will.

  If none of this is that you need to change your question and move it to the appropriate forum email.
