Why do I not have this problem, try to stop a USB before removal?
I use Ghost to weekly backups of two disks. I used a USB Seagate FreeAgent drive uxternal but discovered that he didn't have enough space to accommodate the two discs. So I've upgraded to a Western Digital external USB Passport Essential SE with more space. The problem that I ran was when I clicked on the Windows icon 'Remove hardware safely' and selected the FreeAgent drive, then the Stop button. I got the message "the device 'Generic Volume' cannot be stopped now. Try stopping the device later.
No, there was no disk activity happening on the FreeAgent. I've finally just pulled the plug on this issue and got the warning sound signal. (Plugged the new drive and it is working well). Some advice on why this has happened?

It could well reasons for this behavior. Perhaps another application using the player in the background and also that there could be a conflict with another device or software appliance.

I definitely want my iPad to stay connected to the Wi - Fi connection while I use it. Thanks for posting that other iOS and OS X devices have no problem with the connectivity dropping. We can try a few things.
Would first go through the steps listed in this article: If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi-Fi - Apple Support Network
Then if it does not help, you can check network settings with this: recommended for the WiFi routers and access - points Apple supported
After trying those, if you still see the drop connectivity, make sure the iPad Pro is updated with iOS 9.3.2 and check to see if the connection when you are in a certain place, time, or one event happening elsewhere in the House.

Yesterday, I went on the site for computers levno, help my web access to my work email. I opened the page to display the output items and was never able to get back out of it. Finally used ctrl, alt, delete and completed the task. If you are talking about the menu bar, press ALT or F10 from your keyboard to make the Menu bar temporarily visible. If you want it to be visible at all times, go in view > toolbars > Menu bar, or right click on the Navigation bar (for example, the Reload button), and then select menu bar.
If this does not help, right-click the navigation toolbar, select Customize... and click on restore by default. If it does not immediately appear, try pressing ALT or F10. You can enter in view > toolbars > Menu bar to make it visible at all times, or with the right button of the Navigation toolbar and select menu bar.
If none of this helps, you may have a problem with some Add on Firefox which is an obstacle to the normal behavior of your Firefox. Try to disable all add-ons (just to see) to see if Firefox goes back to normal.

I'm just copying my pack of Windows 7 .vmware to a network drive so that it is saved. It's only about 7 GB (expanding) and is divided into segments of 2 GB hard drive (the default installation option).
When I try to copy the file via the Finder, he said something ridiculous like 9 hours left! I have a GB 30 Parallels VM I created (fixed size disk and do not divide into 2GB pieces) in the evaluation of Parallels and I can copy this whole file back on the network in one hour.
What gives? Anyone have any ideas why I can't copy this particular file in a reasonable amount of time? The virtual machine has been stopped (except some services run in the background on the start of OS X) and the host has restarted several times without success.
