Why do my colors differ with Win DVD maker?

Here's the long version... I use Windows Movie Maker 2.6.  I have a bunch of photos I shot in raw (Pentax K10 - D) and edited in Photoshop. In the middle of the process, I thought I'd be a good idea to calibrate my monitor, so I downloaded the software and calibrated using an old HueyPro.  When I put in place the film in MovieMaker, the colors looked really good.  After putting on the DVD, the colors are off. in particular, the uniforms are disabled.  They should be a dark blue.  On the DVD, they have much lighter air.  (All the colors are a little off, but the Blues seem to be particularly affected.)  If it helps, the DVD is just as bad on the PC and TV ;)

I'm sure it's a question of color profile.  However, I'm over my head on how to solve this problem.
In the System32\spool\drivers\color folder, including the color profile Huey.  Adobe also has its own wsRGB.icc and wscRGB.icc to (c:\users\Steve\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows).
ANY ideas?  Thanks for your help!
-Steve

The PhotoStory 3 freeware could be worth a try
but you have to start over. Personally, I think
It is a better application for slideshows with music. It will be
don't manage 300 photos (maybe less if a lot of movement)
effects and transitions are used). If the project is larger
that it... create more and import in creation of DVD...
each clip is a scene (chapter).

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)

I was wondering why you use MM2.6 instead of Vista MM6?
If it was due to limited system... do you think that
likely to affect the quality of the rendered video file?

  • Movies created with Windows DVD maker, hang up or restart

I used DVD maker several times in the past without this problem.  Recently, I tried to burn a DVD, and a 10-minute clip that was just started.  I reburned the DVD, without this clip, and at around the same point in time, is the same thing, is not the file.  I tried to burn another DVD, with all the clips of orignial, without any other files or programs, and this time there were several hang ups or reboots.  No idea what is happening and how to fix it?

Thank you for your comments.  I did not use Movie maker to make the DVD, I was using DVD maker and it has worked well in the past, with the same type of video files that I currently use. I don't think I did any changes since I modified a DVD burned, but it is possible.  I'll try to remove the filters and see what happens.

  • WIN DVD MAKER BLIND. WMV

My Windows DVD maker does not burn on a DVD .wmv files.  I get a message saying that it cannot read one or more files.  But when I run Windows Update, Microsoft reported again that I am completely updated.  I don't know if this is a problem with other video formats but given the .wmv is a Windows format I suspect the problem to be probably fundamental for all formats.

I have recently made a DVD with 469 photos and you want to add music. However, when I click on the button music add I can get some of the files from my Itunes library but the a folder that I created with 11 songs for this DVD shows empty. When I go into Itunes songs are all there and can be read.

A step that does not match the Itunes tutorial, it's that when I drag songs in the library in the folder the light green is not lit.
