Why don't FCP_LOGIN appears in the log file

We have a shell script that is saved and runs correctly in a dev environment. When impose us this to a new environment, we get the following values that appear on the log file.
FCP_REQID
FCP_LOGIN
FCP_USERID
FCP_USERNAME
FCP_PRINTER
FCP_SAVE_OUT
FCP_NUM_COPIES

My main concern here is that the name of user and password apps is displayed in plain text. Why it appears in one case but not the other? Any ideas how to disable this option? Could be a parameter in the query competitor?

  • Error: Could not open the log file...

I'm running Fusion 2.0 on an iMac intel with Leopard, and my guest is Vista. Fusion is shared by two users, so I put the package VM in users/shared/Virtual Machines / Vista. The two Admin using Fusion have read/write privileges. When I run Fusion I get this error window:

Cannot open the log file "/ users/shared/Virtual Machines.localized / Windows Vista.vmwarevm/vmware.log» Check your configuration to ensure that the path specified for the log file is valid and that you have write privileges in this directory. The current log file is always ' /var/folders/R/rIUqaD5FrKi4RkZAfUtGE+++TM/-Tmp-//vmware-name/vmware-name-1414.log'.

As I am new to VMware Fusion, I'm not sure what this means exactly, maybe that the log file is no longer in its original location? I don't know what is the log file for exactly or how to solve this problem. If someone could point me in the right direction to solve this problem, it would be much appreciated. I tried to search for this topic, but I can't find an account of a similar problem.

Anyone know what the log file and the importance, in operations? I don't want to something important happening in the future.

OK, so you use user "tligmohamed", and the record is the property of ' tligmohamed user, then give it the permissions read and write in the same window.

Also note that things like snapshots and Suspend will NOT work when the sharing between users.  So, whenever you use Windows and plan on using it with another user the next time, you have to make a full "shutdown".

And again, because the snapshot may not work properly (because the new files are named without the same permissions, you will need to manually adjust all), AutoProtect does not either, so don't forget that AutoProtect is disabled and you are not snapshots.

This question also can be easily resolved by the start of the user giving the error and then a complete stop the virtual machine, open a session for that user and the other (which gave the error) and try to start it upward.

  • Why I don't see physical sql in the log file

    Hello everyone,

I try to get the physical sql for one of my analysis on OBIEE. I copied and paste logic sql code into the editor of "PROBLEM SQL" on the Advanced tab, and check the log file. However, there is no physical sql code for this analysis. I find any other analysis. What can be the problem? Can he be on the physical tables / issue privileges etc.?

    Kind regards

    Dilek

    Hello everyone,

I found the solution to my problem. Because I used the filter that contains the result of another analysis, physical sql code is not generated in the log file. When I remove it, it's ok. I'm going to how to change the filter condition. Then the problem is resolved.

    Kind regards

  • Don't recreate the log files deleted ColdFusion MX?

Within the CF Administator in the log files section, there is the option to delete a log file (IE Application.log). If I remove that, it re - create by the CF Server?

ColdFusion creates a new version of a log file if it does not already exist. This is the case on a new server startup, archiving of existing newspapers or removing the logs.

  • TT0779: transaction must restore because the log file is full

    Hello!

We had a strange problem. We use TT in cacahe to connect oracle, and we have a few cache groups, who are using time based aging. Insert us records into them, and 'old' records are unloaded by aging. Once timesten began recording messages like this every second (the system was working well before that):

07:28:48.51 Err: 233506: subd: regular aging failed, error TT0779: query refused; transaction must restore because the log file system is full - file 'dbAPI.c', lineno 10103, procedure 'sb_dbAging '.

The error is not only associated with aging, some other 'data management' operations also fail with errors like that.

All files from TT (TT logs, transaction logs, etc.) are located on a file system that has 40 GB of free disk space (and no file systems are filled on the machine).

    TTversion:
    TimesTen release 7.0.5.0.0 (64-bit Aix) (appdbtt:17001) 2008-04 - 04 T 00: 39:00Z
    Admin of the Forum: timesten
    Instance home directory: / oracle/product/TimesTen/appdbtt
Base directory of demon: / oracle/product/ttDaemon
    Active access control.

Any help is appreciated thanks in advance :).

This isn't really a good way to stop it. This stops the demon main instance of TT, even if there are data stores active. It's a bit like making a kill-9 on some of the main processes of Oracle DB! That's why you got the files .trace and .inval.

For closed properly and one individual data store need you:

    1. ensure that any application accessing the data store process disconnected (tTStatus should show no connection of the application).

    2. stop the replication or cache if used agents.

    3. If you use the ramPolicy defaul setting (inUse) the data store will now offload the memory. If you use ramPolicy 'manual', issue the command ttAdmin of ramUnload to unload the data store. If you use the strategy "always." change the policy manual and unload the previously mentioned such data store.

If you want to stop the main demon then you need to repeat steps 1 to 3 for each data store in the instance before stopping the main demon.

Since we don't know what the problem is that it is very difficult to tell if the upgrade to 11.2.1.3.0 will fix it. I suspect that it is unlikely to do. Your license allows probably to this upgrade if you have a valid active support contract (but best to check) but noted that the upgrade from 7.0 to 11g is not a commonplace patch because there has been a lot of changes in 11g compared to 7.0. You must carefully plan the upgrade and thorough testing, and you may need to make changes in demand and or DBA procedural changes too.

  • imageFORMULA CR-180 check the log file to scan

    Hello

I work with an imageFORMULA CR-180 check Scanner and when executing a good amount (longer than 100) of the controls, I noticed that the scan control stops and a pop-up window appears on the Analysis ToolPak asked if I would like to replace my log file and start over.

The software that I use is called "Utility scan for CR-180II" and the log file contains the information of MICR line controls scanned, as well as the date of the analysis, and the location of the file to the images captured from the parser.

Log file options under "Options-> MICR data parameters.

What I do, it is by clicking on ' no, I want to overwirte the file ", stop the scan, moving the log of the 'old' file, restart the scanning and backup to a new log file.

Is there anyway to work around this problem and record continuously in the same log file?

Is there a memory limit on the scanner?

This is the Web page of the scanner that I use:

    Concerning

    KasunA

Found a workaround.  The problem is that, before the 7695070 patch is applied, the installation program backup directory/apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk in /apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk_backup_existing_version, but then it clears. / jdk - the patch fails because it can't find it.  I had to rename the directory of the jdk for jdk2, and as soon as it gets deleted quickly and rename jdk2 jdk.  Then he applies the patches without problem.  A symbolic link would do the same thing.

    What can be?

Well, you very probably not a lot of space on the left under/Home.

You can move to another location that is located on/home/oracle/orInventory the / partitioning of the partition where you probably have more space left if you used the default value.

For example, as a root user:

    mkdir/U01

    MV/home/oracle/oraInventory/U01

    Update /etc/oraInst.loc and replace

    inventory_loc = / home/oracle/oraInventory

    with

    inventory_loc = / u01/oraInventory

    Hello

I don't know if I understand what you want to achieve. If by just seeing the results in the paper mean you saw that puts the output of the order, you can use another file to write the output (I wouldn't leave out the OMBLOG file, it can be handy when you are trying to debug an error). You can use this piece of code:

    Set p_logfile "C:\\my directory\\my file.log.

    Set v_usefile [open "$p_logfile" +]

    puts $v_usefile 'your message '.

    close $v_usefile

I like to use double quotas in case the file has spaces in its path or name, if there is no space, quotas are not necessary. You can bring order to open at the beginning of your script and the file close to the end, although if your script fails, you will need a new log file, because the one you were using will get blocked until you restart your computer. For complex scripts, I have a procedure that I give the word to write my messages in a file that I keep in a global variable, this procedure opens the file, write the message, and then closes the file. Once get you it working, you don't get the locked log file because the script that you run fails.

  • How to change the location of the log file in File Appender for log4j when used with the logic of the Web?

    I use log4j with weblogic

I want to change the location of the log file in File Appender.

I have tried providing another place but it will create the file in the same place in mydomain

even if it has been changed in the log4j.xml.

No idea why it's happening or what I can do to change the location of my log File? Thank you!

Everything is perfect just replace '-' with "/" in the given file path.

There is some initialization parameters that decide the location of the log online redo generally files. These initialization parameters are

    -DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n
    -DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST
    -DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST

I did not understand the level of priority of these settings if you assign each of them to create the online journal file, if I put all these setting then by creating online log file always va-the path that define in the DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n parameter and ignores the other parameters (DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST).

If I just set the last two (DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST, DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST) and do not set the DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n created in the two location DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST, DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST log file) with mirrored mechanisim.

As you can see above the result, create a log file share setting the parameters DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST, DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST), when I set the DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_1 parameter, the log file creation is going to set in the DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_1 parameter only, no matter what you set for DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST). You can go there.

My confusion here is why the mechanisim of (DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST, DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST) is him even while the same with both of them becomes differ when you set
    'DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n '?

DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST is used if DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n is not defined.

Db_recovery_file_dest is used to multiplex logs files.
For example, if Oracle uses DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST (because DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n is not defined), it multiplexes the logfile to DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST if DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST is also defined.
If, however, DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_1 is used, Oracle wait allows you to set the DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_2 as well for the multiplexing of the file journal; Otherwise, it assumes that you do not want the multiplexed log file. The fact that the parameter ends with an n means that Oracle uses the n = 2 f or the multiplex if defined location.

  • Analysis of the log files from vCenter

Hello, a virtual machine has been removed in our area, and I need to analyse what/how it happened. Unfortunately, the vSphere and vCenter log files have since turned. However, in regards to the vcenter, I have backups of the log files, and these have been restored. When you look at the log files I don't let you content or find the name of the virtual machine when you perform a search.

Can anyone tell how to examine the log for a deleted VM files?

    Thank you

The entry in the journals of vpxd looks like this:

(Not very helpful, I know - but at least there machine virtual-did you ID the identifier for the missing VM of old scripts of the inventory by chance?))
