Why dosent my computer install updates to windows that are already to install? It is said that they are installed, but when I turn it on they aren't there.
I went to microsoft fixit and he said he solved the problem, but there... whenever I turn on my computer, it says that I have updates to install. they are the same ones over and over again.
OPTION A: If KB2539631, KB2539636, KB2572073, KB2572078, KB2518864 & KB2518870 are always listed as being successfully installed in the section History Update http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com, don't worry about this.
If this is not the case, open a Support Incident free of charge by the notes in my earlier answers.
OPTION B: If your misguided use of the RegServe caused this problem, only an another clean install will correct it. (No, I DON'T recommend to try a repair installation.)
OPTION C: If the failure to run the McAfee removal tool before installing Avast4 [1] and fix it any/all the Windows updates after your last clean install caused this problem, only one other clean install will. (No, a repair install won't work.)
Tip: See what happens when the next batch of updates are released on 13 dec-11. If the behavior persists, meet again on this issue .
============================================
[1] if Avast was not invited to upgrade you to Avast6 (released in February-11) and yet, something could be seriously wrong with your computer, in my humble OPINION.

A security update for windows THAT XP cannot install (KB2707511). Code received the error 0x80076BE. How to install this update?
Hello
You are able to install other updates successfully?See the methods mentioned below and check if that helps.Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software.Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Method 2: put the computer in a clean boot state to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

I reinstalled just CS6 Master and it would be only doewnload 1 GB to 3 gb of updates before refusing to download 2.2 GB left because he could not update the Application Manager. WHY? It has been updated right before that I have re-installed.
In addition, he sends you on the parser that is no longer supported, and it sends you to a page for CS6 that refer to it at the bottom. There was no reference to the Application Manager in the journal of management files, only the extension, restart and the police.
Finally found the patch on Google search. CC sound and includes versions of CS. ApplicationManager8.0_all.exe

I installed programs:
Software individual professor teaches Super Set
http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-Vista/default.aspx
Windows Vista Compatibility Center
First thing to do is to check its Vista compatibility at the link above, and if not to see what patches/solutions are available from its manufacturer...
http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-compatibility-mode/
If this is not Vista compatible, read the info on the link above.
It works for some programs, but not all. This applies to software programs, NOT hardware drivers.
If it's Vista compatible > uninstall it > Re-download/save to your desktop > right click on setup.exe O run as admin.

Original title: update replication
Hey there. I recently did a factory reset and now I can't seem to install service pack 1... It says its installed but when I search for new upates I get the same so far again and again and again. any ideas?
I don't think it is a good update of the service pack, a because it was only 1.9 MB, but every once its installed, I look for new updates and get the same thing. its driving me crazy. I can't keep getting my system at a speed without this service pack
Hi Jools101,
You can try the following steps and check if it helps:
Method 1:
You can check the update history if the Service pack is installed or not. If impossible to install, then checkfor codes error.
a. click Start, all programsand then click Windows Update or Microsoft Update.
b. on the Windows Update Web site or on the Microsoft Update Web site, click view update history. A window opens that displays the updates that have been installed or that have failed to install on the computer.
c. double-click the update has failed to check the error codes.
For more information, see the article:
See the Windows updates are installed
Method 2:
You can check the article to reset the Windows Update components and check if it helps.
