• Why Firefox instructions for Media Player do not work?

  I tried to follow the instructions of Firefox to download the plugin for Windows Media Player. Say the instructions to save the file on my desk when you are prompted to save.   When click on firefox on my desktop that a message appears to ask me if I will allow firefox to make changes to my computer. It happens every time. each page is also all pixelated and barely visible. the Explorer IS NOT to do THIS.

  A possible cause of this message, it is that Firefox is configured to run as administrator.

  Make sure that Firefox is not set to run as administrator.
  Right click on the desktop Firefox shortcut and choose "Properties".

  Make sure that all items are disabled in the tab "Compatibility" in the Properties window.

  • Privilege level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
  • "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" must not be selected

  Also check the firefox.exe program properties in the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) folder.

• Why my Muse site does not appear without images even with everything?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated (website: www.daniellefeliciano.com). I'm learning the Muse to help my students to design and I had my desktop site finished and ready to go. It seems large preview in the browser, but when I download in fact to my FTP/hosting it appears without ANY style images etc, but it sort of shows a bit of content. I tired to upload files via Cyberduck (my desktop FTP) through the Muse publishing option and by creating a subdirectory with my hosting and pointing my domain on this one. What happens here? It's bad in all browsers. I'm hosted through GoDaddy, but do not have access to this accommodation at the moment (you need to find the connection).   I have a computer with Windows 10. For about two to three months from now, from time to time, my computer/windows crashes when I open or save a PDF in Firefox, which is extremely upsetting.

• Why firefox has become bloated and lazy like IE?

  I tried like hell to stick with firefox, but it became useless.

  Installation of costs, on a new installation of operating system on a PC with 8 cores@3ghz and 32 GB of ram, and firefox is STILL SLOW!

  More than 10 tabs == random crash for a few seconds / minutes
  Have more than 5 tabs and close one that it blocks a few seconds to a minute.
  Have more than 10 tabs open, select "Close other tabs" after the tabs, FF hangs for 30-90 seconds.

  After the closure of the tabs, CPU utilization pulls up to this core... I say for this kernel, because the limit of mozilla firefox for one heart, which wouldn't be so bad, except EVERYTHING ON THE SYSTEM HANGS waiting for THAT ONE CORE to CATCH THE FUCK UP!

  Add on top of that firefox looking more and more like the chrome... I mean.. Firefox is essentially like having the version slow, delayed, shit smell of chrome...

  PLEASE GO BACK TO WHAT MADE YOU FAMOUS!

  Canned responses do not work, because the situation is based on a new installation of the operating system and a new installation of firefox.
  All the drivers on the system is new and up-to-date.

  I ALWAYS run through the basic troubleshooting list. If I had found a solution for poor performance and hogging CPU memory/crappy, I him have not posted here.

  Question: Where might these alternatives. Simply Googling turns a myriad of other browsers, Chrome for most of the results. Versions of firefox based very little I could find are the pale Moon and waterfox.
  Others are based on the FF are for most * nix flavors or specialized for users of niche such as cat and iceweasle for gnu and debian ice respectively, and wyzo based on niche media downloads.

  I understand that Firefox is open source, and if I had the time team, Fund and development to devote to creating a browser standard, basic, no frills, using their source, I would have already.

  My problem is not with Firefox itself, but the struggle continues Mozilla comply Firefox for chrome UI, while gradually adding bloat, instability and some "features" unnecessary which are not needed or requested by users.

  I get that Mozilla tries to innovate. But adding bloat and tracking features of data or features that cannot be used unless the tracking data is enabled is a huge slap in the face of almost all those who have started using firefox because it objected to these measures implemented in other browsers at the time.

  The entire reason why firefox became so popular was because it worked, was quick and did not use all of the system cpu and ram. Why? because at that time, it had all the bells, whistles, gadgets, door knockers, the banana seat, ape-hanger handlebars and a chrome-plated stand... Remove all trash, and the browser would be more likely to cut its use of CPU and memory in two, if not more.

  Please contact the Mozilla Support. After looking on the support page of the Real, they recommend the following:

  Check that the plugin is enabled in your browser.
  1. click on the Tools menu.
  2. Select Add-ons.
  3. locate RealDownloader.
  4. If the button says 'disable' this means that the plugin is currently enabled.
  5. If the button says 'Enable', click this button. Click restart now.

  Note: If you are using IE or Firefox, download this video will not work if your browser is configured for private browsing. If please close and restart the browser window and try again.

  If you try to use it under the private browsing?

  If checking the plugin does not work and you are not private browsing I would say to contact Support the Real here

• How to install a foxit button in my toolbar? I've recently upgraded to the latest version, but my toolbar does not contain a firefox button that is necessary for certain tasks, such as the private browsing.

  I had an existing laters 3 point what Firefox and recently upgraded version upgraded to Firefox 10. This new version has still the old toolbar at the top, but there is no button "Firefox" that one has to use to activate certain actions such as "private browsing". Is there anyway I can install the button in the toolbar, or is it possible to change to the new interface of version 10 which includes the Firefox Button. I prefer the old (the old configuration with the toolbar on top, but if that can't do, how to migrate to the new configuration that apparently puts the tools on the side, if I'm not mistaken.

  If you have the toolbar to the former, you can always go to private browsing by clicking on tools, then on 'Start private browsing'. All located in the Firefox button options in the old-style toolbar, just maybe a little more hidden.

  To activate you button Firefox, go to view, then toolbars, then uncheck "menu bar". You should have the Firefox button.

  You can try the basic steps like these in case of problems with web pages:

  Reload Web pages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

  • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
  • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
  • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

  Clear the cache and cookies from Web sites that cause problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".
