  Firefox didn't do. At some point, you may have added an add-on or installed
  a program and the installer has changed things on you. Mouse in the search window.

  Firefox is not a search engine, we are a browser. Search engines like Google, yahoo, etc. have their own methods for sites subject to their databases. Usually they will find and index your site on their own as long as it is has some links somewhere on your site.

  I recently installed 15 FF FF 13 and when I got it done, search engine at the top right corner disappeared. I clicked on the arrow down and there were no left search engines.
