  • After uninstall and disconnect a photosmart printer HP 7510 from my system, a nuisance poster message whenever the system is booted.

    WIN 7 Home Premium system

    Gateway DX4860-UB32P computer

    8 GB memory

After uninstalling and removing a 7510 HP printer wireless system, the following message appears each time you start upward.

    RUN DLLS

There was a problem starting C:\Program HP HP Photosmart 7510 series\bin\HPStatusBL.DLL

I removed all references to the 7510 HP computer (start msconfig etc.) have sought the dll referenced, reinstalled and uninstalled again but cannot get rid of this message. The computer works fine and connects to two other printers (all wireless) without problem.

HP spent two hours working on the system and are unable to find the cause. It must relate to something in the Windows system, they argue.

Can anyone suggest how this irritating start can be removed?

Glad I could help! Yep, it's a very nice tool. You might want to mark this as answer in case someone else has the same problem.

  • Firefox opens not at all, even after reboot and re-setup - IE opens normally - what can I do?

I have used Firefox since version 3 - really like compared to others.

This morning, after the startup of Firefox does not open. It worked when the PC was off last night. The eggtimer lights up briefly, then nothing. Internet Explorer works fine, just like Mailwasher (by e-mail) and MS Outlook, is not a problem of the internet.

I am running XP Service Pack 3 (no, really, yet), with Secure Anywhere of Webroot internet security.

I tried to restart - no effect
I tried to remove, reboot, and reinstall - no effect
I tried to run it from a link in an e-mail message - no effect
I tried to run from the line start - run with the ~ option p as in your FAQ - no effect
I tried to reinstall Adobe Flash Player, Shockwave, Java, etc...

The closest, I have something to go is trying to launch a console of Webroot, when I got "Browser launch 1073741819 error" - but this could be an error code of Webroot.

I don't know what else - make almost all your FAQ will be that you can enter the program.

The only thing I can think is that webroot removed a threat this morning, but I can't find saved the crawl log for what it was - clutch at straws, maybe that had something to do with it?

Maybe it's related, but I'll have to write this on another PC, because the Mozilla Web pages displayed incorrectly in Internet Explorer (all other sites I can find appear in normal type) so the plug-ins installed do not reflect what I have on the PC in question

  • Firefox for android mobile phone said app can access the following on your phone... take pictures and videos? Is there a work around? If not have to uninstall.

I have Firefox for my laptop and wanted to use it on my phone Android mobile phone. When I saw under permissions that the application can access photos and videos and can take photos and videos that seemed very odd. Does anyone know of a work around to keep the app to take photos and videos without my permission? I do not want to uninstall but can allow the intrusion of privacy.

We have a help article about why this permission is here: how Firefox for Android uses the requested permissions?

Specifically, some sites may give you the option to attach or embed an image directly from the camera instead of going through a folder of pictures already taken. In order to support this feature, Firefox requires permissions to access the camera. However, according to this article, Firefox will ask your permission before leaving the site to use the camera. I don't think I have ever seen this in action.

  • 21 of Firefox opens not mp3s in Windows Media Player

I put the option program of file type for the two 'windows media player' and 'request' and Firefox always opens the mp3 in a generic player in a new tab MP3s played in the popup from Windows Media Player (after download) fine in the latest version of Firefox 20.X. I tried to disable the Microsoft WMP plugin (the only way to prevent them from opening in a new tab using Quicktime was to disable the plugin (QuickTime).

MIME MP3 settings in Quicktime format have been unchecked and the settings of Windows extension all are defined on Windows Media Player as the default player for MP3s.

Hello sewing1243, 21 firefox now uses the codecs that are included in your operating system that allow him to directly read mp3 and mpeg (also for html5 videos). in order to disable that, enter about: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears) and search for the preference named media.windows - media - foundation.enabled. Double-click it and change its value to false.

Another way to download files without tweaking the above-mentioned preference would be to click right on the link that leads to an mp3 file or right click on the drive in firefox and choose to download the file like that...

    Hello

If your copy of Windows XP was preinstalled on your computer, then you will need to contact your computer factory for a copy of the recovery disc, because a manufacturer computer system is configured to work only with the drive, with what he came unquely.

However, if your copy of Windows XP was purchased separately, you can call Microsoft Supplemental Parts at 800-360-7561 they are open Monday to Friday from 05:00 to 19:00 PST. :-)

This is in addition to the view of "suketezu".

Although the CDs can scratch or break, they are quite hard.  It takes a good amount of effort to cut or break a CD into small pieces.  It is the first time that I've never heard a CD that "exploded in the CD player!

Something must have triggered the 'explosion', and I suspect that a static part in the CD player (probably the lens) is entered in contact with the spinning CD and ripped it leaves.  Maybe the CD sat firmly in the CD drawer.  However, it does not really matter how the accident happened.  If it was powerful enough to destroy the CD, it is probably damaged the CD player.  If so, you certainly need to replace all of the CD disc, in addition to the disc.
