  When I turn on the notebook Windows XP starts up and everything is loaded. But after 5 or 10 minutes, the response is very slow. If I click on any window and try to open any folder, or open internet explore it takes about 1 or 2 minutes to respond. I tried several ways to scan disk and Defrag, but still that are of no use.   Contact the manufacturer of your computer, IBM and ask them to send a recovery disk/s XP set.

  Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
