Why, in the business of Vista, is extremely slow and almost unusable in Windows Live Mail?

After moving from Windows Mail to Live Mail, the program is too slow. On the other hand, the Windows Mail is fast enough.

  • Why Windows Live Mail does not close my msn email?

I have been using for years msn mail. Recently, when I go on the site, I get the following message. Internet Explorer has shut down the Web page. The message said that an add-on has been close. He ordered me to try to go back to windows live or return to my home page. What's wrong. I have no add-on for windows live.

  • I have Microsoft Outlook. The Windows Live mail application is also on my computer.

Recently I notised an icon on my application to start and saw icon of Windows Live Mail.  I clicked on and seen hundreds (of thousands) of e-mails which were identical to the mail I received on Outlook.  Took forever to clean.  Now, when I come back, I see that for every mail that I receive in Outlook, I get an identical in Windows Live Mail.  The address is the same: * address email is removed from the privacy *.  Which should I use and how would turn off the other so that's what I have to do?

is there a difference between windows live mail and hotmail?  I enter ther program by clicking on windows live mail.

Windows Live Mail is a desktop client for E-mail like Outlook Express, Outlook, etc. Thinderbird. Hotmail is a Web-based e-mail program.

  • Windows LIve Mail can't connect to the server

I tried to configure Windows Live Mail, after that I discovered that Windows 7 does more support OUTLOOK EXPRESS. I don't like the program initially and amazes me that MS provides no living person to help with Windows Live Mail problems. It took several days and consults with sevearl IT professional to get the emails you want to connect to the server (I'm still not 100% sure it is working properly). And now I'm having the same problem in trying to implement the focus groups. I get the error message that I can't connect to the server.

Is there anyone out there that can really help?

  • Windows Live Mail does not present as an option for default programs or in the Start Menu.

Something happened this week. I can't identify enough exactly when so I can't say with certainty whether or not it is the new update of 2011.

I use Windows Live Mail (desktop application) for the mail. It is installed and since I built the machine first. I've recently updated for 2011 through Windows Update. In the Start Menu, the default e-mail link no longer works. If I go to customize, I have the options of Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail, and Outlook. If I select Windows Live Mail, it launches a web browser to go to live.com and use Hotmail (which I don't use).

Now, if I choose Windows Mail, and then re - open Windows Live Mail manually, I can set it by default. In this case, when I go back into the Start Menu, the link is there but empty and you get a message that "the selected item is not available. It might have been moved, renamed, or deleted. You want to remove from the list? "I can't get around that. Under "Default programs" in the Control Panel, Windows Live Mail is not yet there. It's as if she is not yet installed, and whatever the shortcut points to (wherever it may be) is apparently nothing. In the registry, under HKLM/Software/customers/Mail, there is no key for 'DLLPath' and "LocalizedString" as there are other programs.

I must point out that repair installation does not help and neither does file and reinstalling.

I managed to solve the problem.  I received an email from another user and I'm sorry to say, I do not remember what were the instructions in the email.  The answer to (y) our problem used to exist on the web, until Microsoft has removed the old answers live site, or something like that.

IIRC, I believe that it was fixing the misdirected registry keys.

  • I have 4 email accounts in Windows live mail. In one, I can't send emails. All of my settings for all accounts are the same.

I have 4 email accounts set up with my Windows Live mail for Windows 7. All account settings are the same, but I'm unable to send an email with an account.

    Hello

It seems that there is a configuration issue with the Windows Live Mail account. Given that only, you experience this problem with a specific account, we suggest that you remove and reconfigure the account on Windows Live Mail. sending pictures without live skydrive or windows

I have windows 7 and now I have windows live mail 2011 and cannot send pictures without this whole enterprise of skydrive or sign into windows live.  I want to just be able to send and resize my photos that I have with outlook or mail in the previous windows and entertain my friends with the same ease. I need to return to the previous version of mail but do not know how and what I lose my contacts and emails from the Inbox?

1: what version of previous mail? Win7 has no default program.

2: is it a POP3 account? Open a new message window and then attach the photos. No need for supplements.

  • preserve in the "Inbox" emails in Windows Live Mail

When the messages are downloaded from my provider ISP (Charter) in my Windows Live Mail Inbox, they disappear at random.  Email I get and then put in the folder delete remains, but not those I decide to leave the Inbox.  I think it may be related to email on my Smartphone (Nokia 925) settings.  I recently changed the POP IMAP settings and this is where the problem started.  Is there a way to change the settings in Windows Live Mail to preserve e-mails in the Inbox?

I installed Windows Live Mail. I have windows 7. When I go the default settings and click on 'make Windows Live Mail your default email' and click 'ok', it is said that it is set by default to Windows Live Mail. • Why can't connect me to Windows Live Mail?

I just bought a new computer and now I can't connect to my Windows Mail account. The email that I used on my old computer and all my computers had a @charter.net to end; who would have something to do with it?

  • Windows 2010 Live Mail loses attachments and sent box, Windows Live 2010 cannot sort by COLUMN by order alphabetical-how to to back to the old Windows Live Mail

After Windows 7, computer portable 64-bit Windows Live Mail update to version 2010 in fall 2010, some attachments fail to my computer.  I can see them at the opening of mail on the work of the Windows XP computer, use comcast web mail, so I don't know the attachments exist.  When I get home and open it with Windows Live Mail, the message through (comcast), and the attachment is missing.  Can I go back to an older version of Windows Live Mail because I have attachments on the same computer.  Second problem: in letters, I can't sort messages sent by COLUMN.  They always sort by DATE, even if I want to sort by TO.  This isn't a problem in the IN box.

  • Exactly where on the computer are my 'Contacts' stored for Windows Live Mail?

I use Carbonite backup. Unfortunately, when I tried to restore my contact list, I could not find such a file, the list of backup Carbonite or in Windows Explorer. I know where the e-mails are kept, but there is no sign of a Contacts folder (except a bunch of those empty.) I have a lot of existing contacts, but I was hoping to find an earlier version on Carbonite.

All I really want is access to an email address who have somehow got wiped out.

Log on to Windows as a user with administrator permissions and launch Windows Live Mail. Don't bother to sign or adding accounts unless you have to. This will establish a database of empty contacts for that user.

In Solution Explorer, change the \Default\15.5\DBStore folder in the new user profile by one that contains the address that you need. Start Windows Live Mail and check if the old list of contacts has loaded. If so, drag the contacts you need out on the desktop to create a vCard (.vcf) files containing all their data. Copy these files to a folder (for example, the desktop) for the former user in need.

Log off Windows and log in as the former user. Start Windows Live Mail, then find a .vcf file, right-click on it and select Open with > Windows Live Mail. In order to integrate the contact to your contact list, click Add contact .

Please let us know if it worked and did what you want.

For later use, Windows Live Mail includes a free online backup, regular automatic for contacts; all you have to do is to connect with a Microsoft Account. The contact list will be saved regularly and be available from any computer with an Internet connection. This will avoid having to jump through hoops was anything on your computer.
