Why is my file exported 2 seconds longer than the project in my calendar

I use a Mac, most recent OSX. I need my project to run for exactly 30 minutes. In the timeline panel, my project is marked exactly 30 minutes since the entry/exit points. When I export the media with Premier Pro, I find myself with a final product that is 30 minutes and 2 seconds. Where are these two additional seconds coming? I have had my range source defined for the sequence of entry/exit points and this reading as exactly 30 minutes, and time of release scheduled for final export read 30 minutes exactly. He added another two extra seconds so I then set the custom and typed in 30 minutes exactly source range and it gives me AGAIN 2 additional seconds. What happens here?

Because at the breast of Premiere Pro, you are reading the non‑drop frame timecode-based total.

Depending on what version of Quicktime that you use, you can click on the counter and change the value of the displayed numbers:

When the standard is in real time. If you switch no Drop, you'll see that it displays length (wrongly) only 30 minutes.

If you use Quicktime 10 I think you can only display in real-time.

That's all, because your video runs at 23.976 frames per second. That means it runs slightly slower than real time, which would be true 24 fps. During the 30 minute period, the reading of this slow frame makes the show running more than two seconds.

That's why in NTSC 29.97 and 59,94 video it is drop and non - drop timecode. Drop timecode drops timecode numbers of images over time to compensate for the difference that the video data rate is slightly slower in real time.

Under drop, when you have a duration of 30 minutes, it is consistent in real time 30 minutes.

In timecode non-goutte, when you have a duration of 30 minutes actually will be slightly longer for broadcast.

It is not a standard for 24 fps fall time frame, it's always non-goutte. You cannot switch so he abandoned the time frame if your sequence rate is 23.976 or 24 fps.

Math:

If you have had 30 minutes of film running at 24 i/s-IPS 24 X 60 = 1440 images in a 1440 x 30 = 43200 minute frames, in the show. (So no - drop TC, that counts the frames without taking account the speed true reading, shows a duration of 30 minutes)

But since the video, in fact, turns slightly slower, at 23.976, as these 43200 managers take more time to play par.024 frame per second of real time.  So 43200 (your total see the amount of images) divided by 23.976 (playout by second image) = 1801.801802 seconds, which is 30 minutes, 1.8 seconds.

Avid used to (and may still not) come with a calculator to do this conversion and to help make the number of images = the time you wish.

It is worth noting that in commercial production, with a duration of 30 or 60 seconds, this whole mess is less apparent. It appears when you are working with whole trunks of program. That's why they invented the drop time frame.

One solution is to tighten the edict of 1.8 seconds for 30 minutes

  • Why is my file size "Combined PDF" smaller than the original files?

    Hello!

I try to combine two individual PDF files into a single PDF file. Each file is 32 MB, but when I use acrobat to combine, the newly created "combined" file is only 19 MB. I think I took the necessary steps to ensure no degradation that happens (e.g. large selection size of the file in the Panel options), but I'm still puzzled as to how the two files can be set up as one and be smaller than the two separate files with out any compression. What Miss me?

    Thanks in advance!

When you combine a file, it performs an operation of "save under".  This rewrites all the PDF object in the single file and is supposed to clean the file, while the single files may have had several saves which when you look at the inner workings of the PDF file simply add at the end of the file.  In other words, you get a file more cleanly written and optimized is also recorded for a quick display of Web pages.

  • Will there be repercussions to Program Files on one partition other than the operating system of the installation?

Will there be repercussions to Program Files on one partition other than the operating system of the installation?  Most if not all the software packages allow to customize the installation.  I had an experience with OFFICE 2013 and this allowed me to install on a separate partition.  After installation, I checked the menu START was 2013 OFFICE & I was able to launch PwrPt without complications.

My motivation for doing this is that I have several versions of LabView which occupies the huge disk space.  So if I can separate the backup image of my OS program files is greatly reduced in size.  This allows me to record several images of my OS by dates without needlessly chewing my external hard drive.

Anyone know this & if yes are there complications or questions?

    Appreciate any feedback

Hi im quite new for first pro and I'm having a problem when I opened my project and it is unable to locate the files. I find the files that are 'missing' and open the project. Everytime I open the project everything I see is all that media have these red, pink, blue, green, yellow lines, where pictures should be. And there is also the title of my pictures in the upper left corner. No one knows what it is and how I could fix this?

  • ProRes renders EI have garbage Frames / longer than the Source

I had some weird problems output prores of After Effect recently. My workflow typical offline was Prores422HQ or Prores4444 exit offline for and it is a regular method of rock for years. Recently, all Prores of After Effects renders have additional frameworks of garbage and longer than the source:

An animation example 720 with DPX source, attended the Prores4444 image eventually 724 frameworks when read on the desk or ingested in Avid/Final Cut. When this rendering is re-imported in AE, it is considered as having only 720 images and fits perfectly into the chronology of 720 original frame, but outside the EA, it is considered as having 724 frameworks (QT7, Avid, Final Cut, etc.).

Has anyone seen this problem before? I started using Avid rather - codecs which works very well - but this question worries since most deliverables are Prores these days... and AE was the best way to maintain the 16 bits of color in these sorties.

  • Exported video is shorter than the length of the work area?

I exported a DVD MPEG2 using the NTSC high quality Progressive Preset and it came out more short than the real work of the sequence of about 8.5 minutes area.  The video must be 68 minutes long, but the video is rather only 59 minutes and 11 seconds.  As far as I know, the beginning and the end are the same.  Funny thing is the .wav file that produces the first is the right length (68 minutes), but the .m2v file is 8.5 minutes shorter.  My source of the layer film is AVCHD 1080 p filmed PF30 in a container of 60i (which should be published in an AVCHD 1080 p 30) sequence.

  • CS4 Pro - project pulling of ~ 80 computer moving files can I be part of the project files?

I'm a newbie, so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. I have a new computer and got rid of everything on my old. I have a project that has audio clips and 80 + files in different locations on my old computer. I do not plan to put the old files on my new computer. I am also changing from XP to Windows 7 so go files in different directories.

Is it possible to create a major project file that includes all of the clips that are in the project, rather than have them externally referenced? I can wish change the video in the future, moving clips, etc., so I don't want to just save an avi file.

I hope this makes sense. Thank you in advance for your help!

  • Why is my file exporting old background image?

I use Adobe animate mainly for banner ads. The ads usually have very similar characteristics, so I'll make a copy of an old advertisement, rename and move to a new directory on the desktop. Then open it in edit animate and change the structure according to the campaign.

Whenever I go to publish the file that it exported the old background image. Which I already replaced by importing a new background image to animate. It is nowhere in the new library of files, etc..

What's up with that? Somehow, he keeps this old picture, but it is not found in the new file.

I also experienced problems with the update of the images when I tried to do it via the properties of the bitmap in the library (which is what I always used to do at the time of Flash/SWF).

What I ended up doing to replace the images now, is the removal of the old image, then re - import a new one (with a different file name) in the clip existing using the file > import to stage.  Don't forget to give it a different file name if not the old image may still appear.

  • How to import a file exported as a catalog in the current Lightroom Catalog.

It seems to me that the first three extractions return 31 lines in very little time, but the last extraction takes environ.4 seconds and about 7354 buffer gets to get the remaining lines of the 13. Does anyone have an idea what could cause this?

    -Bobby

    Bobby Durrett says:

The index includes all of the columns in which the clause in the order listed plus more. It's a local index.

Most of the additional work is done in the index (see cr = value in the INDEX line).
This suggests that you do a scan of interval by a large proportion if the index, but have a large number of entries.
    Two options in mind spring
    (a) there is a constraint in the where clause, which means your predicate is not as precise as it looks
    (b) there is a large strip of data recently removed from the index you're going through

In both cases you can be the first return of these first two blocks of index leaf rows, then walk a lot index, do a lot of work, before going to the table for the last few rows.
The suggestion to check the session statistics can give you some clues.

  • Why DB read file is still active after that the session was killed?

    Hello

I have a query which is only select read only (no selection for update) on a big enough table (lines 500millions). The result must return a few million rows (1-10 million), because it is not properly written.

I killed all the sessions opened by the user who started the application, but after 3 hours, it is still ongoing.

I don't understand. It's a read. There is no data restoration that must be set aside, there is no generation of redo (low) because of this.
There are a few kinds made in this query.

So, why after that I'm killing a query that is read-only, the process runs for a very long time?

It is not the first time I'm facing this problem.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

If you really want the process completed rather than simply "marked" termination then use DISCONNECT SESSION with the IMMEDIATE clause

See the "Clause of DISCONNECT SESSION" in the doc of the SQL language

  • How can I leave the program runs longer than the duration of sleep?

I have a desktop Pavilion Elite HPE - 110 t (win7) .  Turn off display & sleep have the default value (10 & 20 minutes).  According to the instructions that I read (somewhere in the paper documentation) when I got to the computer a few months ago, I do not turn off it during the night.  I think included grounds for diagnostics to run (by default grid) & I "think" I've seen (the next day) scans messages, updates, etc. have been executed.  I however turn off my modem to prevent the activity internet auto (anyway) during the night.

This configuration has been satisfactory until this morning, when I tried to leave an app running I knew would require more than one hour to complete.  I had other non-computer tasks to do & did not sit the computer baby to keep him awake.  In fact, I thought that 'activity' (including the activities of memory without keyboard activity) he would keep awake.

To my surprise when I got home 3 hours later, treatment stopped about 45 minutes after the start.  This was determined by the timestamps of the output files.  Normal processing resumed after that I have he awakened from his sleep.

Is there a way (outside change go-to-sleep time setting each time) to allow work of long-term programs/application to keep running & to go to sleep after the treatment is finished? Am I wrong to think that 'auto diagnostic' are running when the computer & I sleep at night?

    Thank you
