  Whenever I try to open the files or create new files, the program crashes / freezes. I have Google'd and found similar problems, yet I have not yet capitalized on the realization of a complete restoration. I recently installed a new driver of LEXMARK printer and I found that this could be my problem. I started to remove printers drivers and preferences of adobe to solve half of my problem. CS3 is now blocking half the time when you create a new document and crashes everytime I try to open a document. Sometimes when I'm really able to start a new document, I can open documents, which is rather strange. I must be missing something to delete of what is the driver installed, or there must be something else I'm missing.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled, but that did nothing. I created a new user account and tried to work the program in there, but it still crashes. Illustrator and InDesign work very well. I need immediate help to continue the work for the clients, please help as soon as possible. Thank you.

  Since us don't know not what the Lexmark driver leads to freezing, we do not know if reinstalling it reintroduced the problem or not.

  You should probably talk to Lexmark on the printer driver and the problems it poses.

• Why are there so many duplicates in my music folder?

  I went in my iTunes Media/Music folder to find a song corrupt and noticed that most of my music has been duplicated once or several times.  There is the original song and the other with a '1' or '2' some time after the title.  That's happened?  I guess that I should not worry but I have only approximately 3,500 songs in iTunes, but there are now more than 10,000 files in this folder and duplicates are taking up more than 50 GB.  What can I do about it without screwing up iTunes and how do I keep it doesn't happen?  Thank you.

  One possible approach is to use the file > add folder to library to add the iTunes Media folder, and then everything that is currently in the press kit and is not already connected to the library will be added to it. You can then deduplication.

  iTunes can create duplicates if the same content is added several times from outside the media folder when it is about to make copies of everything that is added to the library, or is added from an external drive that hosts the press kit that was disconnected during the launch of iTunes.

  I am an unlucky recipient of a laptop with Windows Vista. It came preloaded with Vista... no backup disks or manuals, etc. The restore feature was not turned on, so a restore point has not been set. My WMP will not play wmv or any wmp files. I also have problems with my automatic updates in Windows. I have 10 updates that were not successful, but there are probably pages of the attempts of many times where the updates failed. My Trend Micro Titanium Internet tells me I have a problem in my directory root, which is probably due to an update of Windows that was supposed to protect me from a weakness in Vista, but again once with my updates failed to download successfully, its possible the fix I need is still sitting there... I think it's a shame that MicroSoft is allowed to 'SELL' a product without disk... just a license # and NO manuals. AND not a lot of support for your money... or the other. I spent hours and hours trying to fix myself... using all the resources I can find... look like a dummy, I'm sure, but if I had the software I probably would have deleted from my hard drive and more. It would certainly have saved me MONTHS of frustration. Trend Micro and real human support downloaded the plus version of their software for me and recent, plus a few extras to eradicate certain other pests. To get a human being to help you at MicroSoft? It will be $60, please... Sorry, if I look a little tired, but you guys are supposed to be the best and I feel fuzzy. I have been in sales for a long time. long time AND sold the BEST AMERICAN made cars...   Questions 1)

  Not because the LRDATA file is fair previews, what LR displays on your screen for a faster loading of the image and will be recreated. The previews only stored in the folder LRDATA is the basic overview created at time of importation for the display of thumbnails and previews of 1:1 for images that you have actually looked in the Loupe View or I guess that appears in the develop module.

  If you switch to another folder that LR begins again create preview images in this folder. The total number of previews created and stored based on caching of the preview you have in the catalog settings dialog in the management of the files tab.

  If not, you need not the LR Previews.lrdata folder. Whenever LR is not very good this folder with a catalog he recreates it to store previews in.

  3. prepare with the location of the data files and of redologs online then create it.

  Note - If you have placed the name of the different database, then, it will check with datafile and it give error (if you need correct the name of the database)

  As you have not indicated whether or not the last stop of database is compatible (we assume that there are his uniform and mandatory ORL and archives)

  If you have Windows 7 Ultimate or Professional Editions follow method 1, if you have Windows 7 Home Premium or lower editions go to method 2

  Method 1: Change the settings of group policy and see.

  You can configure the policy setting determines which users can shut down the local computer. Navigate to the following location in the Management Console (GPMC, Group Policy),

  Click the Start button, type gpedit.msc in the search field.

  Navigate to the following location:

  Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignment\ Shut down the system

  Double click stop the system, select the user group you want to disable and click Remove > apply > OK.

  Simply restart your PC and connect users to check if the function disable and remove Shutdown account works.

  Method 2:

  a. must turn off and remove Shutdown option by using the registry editor.  Open the registry editor, navigate to the following path: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

  b. Select Explorer in the left pane, right-click in the right pane and select new > DWORD; then name it as NoClose.

  c. double-click NoClose, and replace the value Hex 1; Click OK, and then close the registry editor.

  d. restart, you'll be able to disable and remove the Windows 7 Edition stop Home Premium or less in this way.
