  • just updated my aspire e1 - 571 g of windows 8 for windows 10 and now I am unable to turn on wifi

Thanks for your effort, even if the solution suggested by you has not worked for me.

Today, I've corrected this problem by myself, and now I'm able to turn on the WIFI and bluetooth. Even though I have upgraded to windows 10, I went to the official site of acer ( acer drivers ), entered my product model and I chose the 8.1 and then 64-bit windows operating system I downloaded the radio button that is available under

Category-otherSeller - DritekDescription - other Drivers (button RF)

and after installing this driver and the system restarts (reboots automatically after 30 seconds), I was able to solve this frustrating problem.

You can enable and disable the WiFi using the option of Windows 8.
In this case, the switch function FN command is unnecessary.

Start the charm bar (Windows key + C)-> settings-> settings for laptop computer-> Wireless-> wireless (enabled/disabled)

Now the wifi must be enabled

    Hello

I now have a C850 Satellite with Windows 8, and when I turn on wifi, phone, it does not appear in my computer on the laptop. Basically, I forgot what I have to do to pair devices, do not know if Xperia settings desktop or laptop. ???

    Pointers appreciated.

The laptop is quite happily connected to my home hub WiFi, but not on the phone.

PS. If I look at networks wireless on the phone, it says that it is connected to my Virgin Media Home network.

    > I now have a C850 Satellite with Windows 8, and when I turn on wifi, phone, it does not appear in my computer on the laptop.

  • HP 15-ac152sa laptop: wifi tab disappears from the network settings menu. Unable to connect to wifi

I bought a new laptop. I connected to the WiFi network with no problems the first time. I have downloaded Microsoft office 2016 (home and student). The next time I turned on the laptop, the icon WiFi in the corner of the screen says "no connection available.

On the tab "network and internet". There is no tab for WiFi. Initially, I managed to fix it by clicking on the 'network card', 'properties' and on the 'power management' tab, I unchecked the box indicating "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. This fixed the problem... until the next time I turned on the laptop. It's the same thing and I am unable to connect to internet via WiFi.

The single adapter in the list here is "Realtek PCI-e FE family controller #2". Still unable to connect to WiFi... Still no WiFi tab under settings "network and internet". Help, please!

So, the problem was finally solved (fingers crossed!).

Yes, the Internet access worked perfectly every time when it is connected through the Ethernet cable. Ultimately I phoned the helpline. They checked for the new driver updates (these have been already updated), restored the BIOS remotely and then restored the device to the factory settings. Start of the fault still took place intermittently. This indicates a hardware problem, and the unit was sent for repair.

The idea was that when the WiFi did not work, the WiFi card wasn't physically visiable in the list of available adapters, nor has the Bluetooth adapter. Apparently in this device, the Bluetooth and WiFi functions are on the same network adapter and apparently those elements should not disappear from the list of available adapters. So the fact that they disappeared together intermittently indicated a hardware problem with the card.

Now that I got my laptop back and I think that the WiFicard has been replaced. Hoping all is well now and I hope this post helps someone else.

Thanks hp for fast and wonderful customer service.

  • Unable to set 'MARKET' WIFI on my 8900 BlackBerry Smartphones

I have made several attempts to turn on the wifi and the message I get is "unable to connect to wifi" problem doesn't happen on a network, because every time I try to put the wifi manually, I get the above message. I even went in 'Manage connections' "Scan for networks" and I get the same bloody message. I had problems when wifi is connected to my network, but not Woking at all, but this time the bloody thing wont "power." Any help/advice would be appreciated.  Thank you!!

Thank you very much!!! Removal of the battery worked and I will update my device if necessary.

  • Firewall cannot power on. Unable to connect to WiFi.

I have a Samsung PC with Windows 7 Home Premium. I have several problems with it. First of all, I have constantly to the little flag in the bottom right of my screen telling me that there are 5 questions with my PC, but above all it tells me that my firewall is disabled. Obviously, I tried turning on, but after asking me only one to turn on (AVG, windows,...) and then ask the admin. permission, nothing happens. The little note in the corner is still there, and nothing has changed.

Second thing is, I can't connect to my WIFI at home with my laptop. I have 3 roommates, and they're all perfectly fine internet. When I try to connect, it tells me that it is connect but with no access to the internet and then a small window appears in the lower right corner, say that there might be additional information needed. After trying just about everything, the only 'useful' thing, I found was troubleshoot tells me there could be a problem with my driver for wireless network connectivity. The adapter is an Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter. When I try to disable and re-enable the driver, nothing happens, and I don't really want to uninstall and re install since I think that might just make things worse.
    Can anyone help?

    Hi Zornig,

Thanks for posting on this forum. If I understand correctly, you are facing 2 problems on your computer. First of all, you are unable to turn on the firewall. Second, you can not connect to WiFi with your laptop. Hope I understood the issues.

Zornig, if you have more than one anti-virus or firewall applications on the computer, this problem may occur. It is recommended that you have only installed on the computer so try to uninstall one of them and check.

Due to WiFi, try the methods provided.

    Method 1:

Run the network troubleshooter, and check. Check out the link and follow the steps.

    Network convenience stores

You can use logs of the events of the resolution of network problems and try to solve the problem. Check out the link.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/use-Network-Troubleshooter-event-logs-to-solve-network-problems

    Method 2:

You can reinstall or update the NIC drivers. This can be done without harming the computer anyway. Check out the link and follow the steps to install the drivers for the device.

  • EliteBook 2530p. Can not turn on WiFi Windows 10

    EliteBook 2530p, Windows 10 home

Ive just upgraded the machine above 10 win 10 with the help of this site. Everything works fine except one thing, I can not turn on WiFi.

The orange LED on the touch screen under the screen and the front edge of the machine are both orange and when I try to use the touch screen to turn it on nothing happens.

All other keys work fine so I don't think that's the problem. I don't know another way to activate the WiFi on this machine.

The WiFi card is recognized in Windows 10 Device Manager and I have re-installed the card and made sure the antenna cables are properly connected.

Anyone had similar problems with WiFi / Win 10 works is not on this machine model?

    Any help or advice appreciated.

    SOLVED

I'm frustrated, trying to get the WiFi works because it is a machine I was in the process of selling and I had no user file to worry about, I decided to clean install Windows 10 and re - install Windows 7.

I did this and load all nessasary drivers but no matter what I did the WiFi refused to turn on. I did several searches and HP Wireless Assistant who got the status of 'Wireless LAN' was OFF but the Start button is grayed out so I couldn't activate it.

While remaining in the wireless Assistant I hit the WiFi button on the touch screen and a message appeared telling me to unplug my Ethernet cable. As soon as it is unplugged the button power on in the Wireless Assistant has become clickable and I was able to turn on the WiFi!

So it seems that if you connect an Ethernet cable to this model of HP, the WiFi system is disabled and the only way for him help is by unplugging the Ethernet cable.

I think I'm going to stick with Win 7 because I'm still not sure that the wireless card is supported under Win 10
