Why iTunes deletes my music from my iTunes library?

I edited (change key) of some of the songs that I downloaded from Apple's music and downloaded the version published in the playlist of the band's songs to learn and repeat.

iTunes has just removed the songs from my iTunes library. They are always on my MacBook, but they were out of my other devices, or so it is said (I check). When I click on the cloud with the X in it, he waits a moment, then says an error has occurred and the song cannot be downloaded.

I downloaded these songs published a few months ago and it just happened.

Thanks for all the ideas.

You cannot change the downloaded music from Apple's music. You can if it's from the iTunes Store.

Section of the store are here, with a cloud, but they won't be edited versions, they will be the master copy of the original that you downloaded.

I don't know about media removed from your library. People have reported on and outside there for about 5 years, but no one has posted all whatever it is by providing a reason or an other solution (than ensuring that you always have a backup).

  • Why LR deletes the information from B & W to my images?

I take pictures on my camera in b & W, I bring in LR and I'll even convert to B & W it (since n & B info seems to be naked).

Why did LR deletes the information from my B & W and displays my images in color that is NOT what I want to do every time.

It even makes the images that I have changed color to B & W in LR long ago and simply re - visit.  It's as if we remove all of the creative work, I made a picture for me to have to start over (not funny).

    Any ideas?

I'm working on LR3, but this was so in LR2 (I use a Nikon D700 and it seems that this happens regardless of how import my images - via Nikon software or import LR).

    Thank you

    Jez

You accidentally import RAW files? If self no matter which camera, the transformation parameters

such as B & W, sharpness, etc... which are stored as metadata are not read by LR. LR is important only the RAW data as it was captured by the sensor. The metadata will be read by propitiatory software specially designed for your camera. Do you B & W conversions in LR, it will do a much better job that your camera somehow. B & W in the cameras are really usful for the jpg preview that appears on the screen of your device.

LR makes no changes to the files, but changes in LR are recorded in the catalog and will be applied to the file in the catalog. You can make virtual copies if you have several versions (for example, a color and B & W of the same image version). When you export a file LR creates a new file that has all the changes that have been applied permanently.

  • I can't delete some files from Windows Media Library

I emptied on all downloads of music from my computer, but I am unable to get rid of titles and generic icons for in Windows Media Player (5000 of them). I tried all the remedies published without success.

Is it possible to remove and reinstall Windows Media Player?

Can anyone give me more information?

    Thank you

    Hi Trifolium Verde,

Follow the steps below and check if that helps you solve the problem with Windows Media Player.

    Method 1

You can try to clear the database of Windows Media Player and check if it clears thetitles and generic icons

To do this, follow these steps:

    Step 1

    1. exit Windows Media Player.

    2. for Windows 7: click Start, run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player , and then click OK.

    3. Select all the files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

Note you don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    4. restart Windows Media Player.

Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

    Step 2

If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. exit Windows Media Player.

    2. If you are running Windows 7, click Start, click Run, type % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft and then click OK.

3 select the folder Media Player, and then click delete on the file menu.

    4. restart Windows Media Player.

Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

Also note before performing the steps above, I suggest to save the songs and try the steps above.

    Method 2

If the steps above do not resolve the problem, you can try to disable Windows Media player and then enable the feature that is as good as the uninstall and put it back. Follow the steps below to do the same.

To enable or disable the window Media Player 12, follow these steps:

    1. click the Start button, select Control Panel, click programs and then click turn on turn Windows features on or off. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    2. expand Media features clear the check box next to the feature of Media Player, to remove media player. Click OK and restart the computer.

    3. turn on the media player again by selecting the check box next to the feature of Media Player.

Access the link below for more information on the steps above to turn off or on the features of Windows 7.

I hope this helps. Let us know the results.

  • How to transfer music from my old hardrive itunes library?

I am trying to transfer mp3 files that have been in my old laptop to my previous hardrive library iTunes on my new computer, without having to transfer all the mp3 files on hard drive across and hoping someone might be able to advise me how to do this. I want only the music that has been specifically on the iTunes of my previous laptop. I already bought a caddy HHD and implemented so that I can access the files on the hard drive. When I go to the iTunes library on the hard disk directory and go in itunes there is no record of music so I don't know otherwise how can I access my old library. Can someone tell me if there is a way to do this?

Music from your old library would usually be in \Users\ < user > \Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music. Is that when you're looking? See make a library of portable split. You might consider the old library running from the external hard drive, or make a new portable library that contains all your media. Anyway you should also do a backup.

  • Why the iTunes remote control app get access to music from Apple on my Mac?

I'm used to control my iTunes on my Mac with the Remote app. My Mac is connected to my stereo, so this used to be the ideal solution for remote access to my music. I have recently subscribed to music from Apple, but the remote application does not support this. Apple will do an update to allow remote access to Apple's music?

The app still supports the control of iTunes. Do you have home sharing enabled and the paired app?

  • Why doesn't iTunes add music from my computer to the library?

Hello, I'm having a problem with iTunes, add music from my computer to my library.  I am running the latest version of iTunes on my Windows 7 Desktop and everything works fine except for the folder of the file/add to the library feature.  I have a folder with music midi files on my desktop I want to synchronize with an old iPhone to play on my piano player.  Whenever I try to add the folder or individual songs from the folder to my library the action of importing them just suddenly be farm/is unable to finish before something happens.  I used to be able to add songs to my computer with no problems, but now, it seems that iTunes is not allow to happen.  Is it because I can't add midi music files to my library, because there is something wrong with my version of iTunes which does not add music?  Or this here that I am aware of a compatibility issue?  Is anyone know how can I add music to my old iPhone (1st generation iPhone 5) in a different way, if it is not possible or can point me in the direction of a person who would have?  Should I jailbreak it to get there?  (I don't know something I only heard people do it before).  Thank you very much for your time!

    Daughter of starfish,

To the best of my knowledge, new versions of iTunes cannot read MIDI files.  Older versions of iTunes relied on QuickTime to handle the lunch, but QuickTime is part of iTunes.

If you want to try one last thing, you can drag a MIDI file your automatically add to iTunes folder to see what is happening.  On my machine, it ends up in the not added folder and does not appear in the library.

  • Come on Apple! : why Itunes wants to erase my iphone to manually manage music for me

    Hello

I wonder if there is a way to activate the option to manually manage music without the synchronization and erasing all the info on my iphone 6. It is terrible because I can't understand how to do this and I do not use my computer to store all the music on my iphone, and I don't know how to backup all my pictures and etc. in my computer. I have activated this option before on another device and was angry because when Sync I lost all my photos including images of my great-aunt who could now be passed away while she was struggling with cancer was given a little time to live. I am currently using a third-party program called AnyTrans to add titles to my iphone but I want to be able to do simply in itunes instead. That said, does anyone know how to enable this option for those of us who don't do the thing whole sync? As is - this does anyone have ideals about why itunes forces you to synchronize when you change the settings?

Appreciate any help and advice given here. Thank you!

    Hello

For the sake of Apple, you can only toggle a device of automatic synchronization to manual management without removing the media on this issue when it is connected to the library, with which it was previously synchronized. See recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device library for general steps to recover all media on a device in the local library, after what you can afford wipe and reload it. If you choose to manage manually in the future you should keep all of your media in a local library that you have backed up so that you can restore your device or replacement as and when the need arises.
