Why my Firefox moves the focus to the next tab open when I open a new?
For example, I have 3 tabs open, say "Facebook", "Gmail" and "Firefox". When I got to 'Facebook' and open a new tab, it goes to 'Gmail '. If I am to "Gmail" and I opened a new tab, it moves to "Firefox". It is boring and has not happened before.
I just want to stay the same tab when I opened another.
I already tried to change some parameters, but it was always the same.
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).
- Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.
See:
- Troubleshoot extensions, themes, and issues of hardware acceleration to resolve common problems of Firefox
- Solve problems with plugins like Flash or Java to solve the common problems of Firefox
If this does not work in mode without failure, then disable all extensions and then try to find out who is the cause by allowing both the problem reappears.
- Choose "Disable all add-ons" on issues to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode to set window to disable all extensions.
- Close and restart Firefox after each change through "file > exit ' (Mac: ' Firefox > leave";) Linux: "file > exit ')

Why can't the next tab open when I select the following link?
I use several browsers, not just Firefox. One of them automatically opens a new tab when I click on the next site that I want to transfer, that is, I don't have to click to open a new tab first. Note, it also keeps the active tab open.
I love this feature and want in Firefox, at least as an option.
In Firefox you can middle-click on a link with the wheel on the mouse to open the link in a new tab.
Only links that specify a target window open in a new tab.
All others open in the same tab.
If it isn't on by clicking on the links on the Google results page and then you can change it in the Google search parameters (where the research open) (gear in the top right corner icon). -

My home page has two tabs; the 1st is Google.com and the 2nd is webmail.juno.com.
When I opened in IE8, the two legs have the Unicode (UTF-8) encoding.
When I open it in Firefox, the 1st has encoding Unicode (UTF-8) BUT the 2nd tab has ALWAYS WHY Western encoding?
I always have to manually go to View/Text Encoding and change each time.
IE8 does automatically - how can it be fixed in Firefox so the two tabs always open in Unicode? The following extension (that I have not tried because I have not noticed any need for it) has been updated lately, so there could be more compatible with the changes about the characteristics of the extension for Firefox 40-41:

How can I restart firefox with the same tabs and windows?
How can I restart firefox with the same tabs and windows?
It is not in the file menu or tools. I get nothing when searching for help. FF still knows how to do it, say to update extensions.
I know that I can do by saving my session, coming out, reboot and restore the session but is there a single command to do this?
Thank you. -David
I have attached a screenshot showing how to select restore automatic session just above the setting of the Home Page where it says "When Firefox starts".
With this set, you can restart Firefox manually out using the menu-
- "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
- (menu bar) File > Exit
-and then restart Firefox.
If you want a real reboot with a click of button, you can check something on the Add-ons site: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/

Firefox 4 the "Close tab" button is missing from the "File" menu drop-down
In Firefox 4, the "Close tab" button appears not in the "file" pull down.
This button appears in Firefox 3.6.16 but is now gone.
I need when I have two windows open, each with one tab open and I want to close a window.
The only option presented to me is "Quit", that closes both windows...
It would be good [if they insist on the order being missing] to have SOMETHING beyond the CTRL-W command [which fortunately works again]. I thought it was a windows application and not BACK. I hope that the command is available in a menu drop down, especially because it has a long history of existence in a rational place.
It will be interesting justify how to remove a menu command dropdown is somehow "better".

Move the point of origin when you use the scale tool
Hello
Can someone tell me if it is possible to move the point of origin when you use the scale tool? By default, when I change by dragging an anchor of the corner, the opposite corner is used as the origin. Ideally, I would like to to scale using an origin that is biased, I can specify sort. I know that you can do during the rotation, but I was not able to determine if this goal is achievable during the measurement. I use Illustrator CC 2015.3.1 and Mac.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Jason
Click where you want the origin to be. Or move the reticle. Exactly the same as with the rotation tool.

Use the keyboard to switch to the next tab
I use ctrl + tab to switch to the next tab.
But this feature does not work since the first tab, only for all other tabs.I have the Menu bar on.
I use alt + f to open the file menu, and so on for all the menus
Even this command only works for all tabs except the first.I tried the shortcuts that you have provided on my Firefox. They seem to work fine.
This problem could be due to an extension you installed on Firefox. To see if this is indeed the issue, please try Firefox in Safe Mode.

When I click on the sign + to open a new tab all my most visited sites are the blank page. I know that there is a parameter in the config which is set to false, and must change. I don't remember who it is, can you help me?
- In the address bar, type Subject: config and press enter. The subject: config "this might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
- Click on I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue on the subject: config page.
Search for the string "browser.newtabpage.enabled" and set the value to 'true '.
