Why my iPod classic displays that it is fully charged when I know that it is not?

My iPod classic has recently demonstrated an icon of the battery as fully charged with the icon that shows that I can disconnect my iPod after that that it is fully charged. I use it frequently for a day and over time I know that I eventually need to load it but the battery icon does not show this and continues to display a fully charged icon.

From time to time the icon has changed to show the level of current battery but then after a minute, he would turn toward showing completely.

Can someone please help me with this I would really appreciate it! I don't want to use my iPod thinking that it is fully charged when it is not really.

When the battery becomes worn, the status will be unreliable.  The iPod can say fully charged when it is connected, but if she is unable to hold a charge, the battery didn't really a good load.

This looks like a cache of corrupt work. There is unfortunately no way to repair the cache of the work on an iPod classic short restoration or recharge it.

  • Why my camera Android tells me incorrect password and email when I know that it is not? !

I have set up sync on my main PC with my email and password and when I try to sync with my phone Android and tablet, it always tells me that it is a wrong name and password and I know that's not.

    Any ideas?

PS, New System email and password synchronization.

Thank you, the one who can help me...

Thanks, Guigs. That has not worked? Well, to be honest, I wasn't sure what we were trying to accomplish. I made has not been synchronized on the (obsolete) account, and then tried to sync via the menu of regular synchronization, he received the same message. bad login and password... ARGH! No warning sign or anything.

Good news, however, I got to work. Simply, I took off my PC Sync menu and resigned to the top with an email alias. Then, once he's confirmed, I went to my android and it took one with the password. SO weird?

Therefore, in any case, all resolved and I can now synchronize between my devices, but not a great solution if you have not alias emails you need to remember to use in the future.

  • My beloved iPod classic has stopped working

    Hello, everyone!

So, Yes. My dear iPod classic is sadly passed away after almost 8 years. I don't know what to do.

I'd really like to have your opinion: it is better to change the hard drive? Someone has already tried with an iPod classic?

I would really like to continue to use it, because it is simply the best.

    Thanks in advance!

If 'iPod classic' means that it is a 5th generation iPod (first one that plays videos) or later version, this website has interesting information and products to replace the bad hard drive with commonly available as a card flash storage compact flash or a SD card (on an adapter).

    https://www.iFlash.xyz/

I haven't used those specific adapters with the 5th generation iPod later, but I have improved my 3rd and 4th generation iPod even older in a similar way (using different cards).  We now have the SD card and you use the card compact flash.  With the new battery (replaced at the same time), the two work better now with higher storage capacity than when they were new.  From my experience, SD cards are cheaper compared to the compact flash cards of the same storage capacity.  And SD cards are physically smaller.

If your iPod "classic" is 4th gen or more (like mine), you can post back for further information.

The hardest part is open the case without causing damage.  This web site has illustrated the repair guides (and there are also many 'how to' videos on YouTube).

I am looking to buy a 'new' ipod classic. IPod Superstore claims get the new Apple iPod that Apple is still making them for 5 years, but only to sell them to a few suppliers for resale. Is this possible?

Probably not still making them, but Apple political is to the service of produced at least five years after they is no longer manufactured and sold

"Owners of iPhone, iPad, iPod or Mac products can get the services and Apple parts or service providers from Apple for 5 years after that the product is longer manufactured,' which is

Vintage and obsolete products - Apple Support

With the iPod, 'maintenance' means often giving you a replacement to pay the off-guarantee fee, which is $ 299 for the last classic model of the iPod, according to this document

Pricing of the Service - The Apple iPod Support

So Apple probably has a stock that's enough to last up to five years after 2014 (when the last classic model of the iPod has been abandoned).  This provider is unlikely to be an authorized dealer, as well as the iPod has not perhaps be covered by the standard warranty of one year.  That's why it comes in a regular white box, not a retail box.  It's supposed to be a replacement of maintenance for the iPod classic (latest model) owners.  It can be 'used', but it is still old.  Parts like LCD, HDD and the age of the battery by sitting in a warehouse.

  • iPod Classic and TV displays error

So I have an old iPod classic that I recently started using again, but he seems unable to sync the TV shows that I own. It can sync music very well, but even with sync settings, the 'all TV shows' value, it may not. When I try, the iPod is as there is nothing to synchronize. Even more curious, I got a movie and some clips on it since the time and they play well on the iPod.

The shows are certainly downloaded on my system, and I can read on my PC. I found some old tips recommended I download an "iPod Version" of the show, but I can't find any option like that.

I have a Windows 10 operating system with iTunes 12.4.3. The iPod is running version 2.0.5.

    Hey there RockDHouse,

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support! From what you describe, you have problems of that sync TV shows that you bought your iPod classic. I'll be more than happy to provide you with information for troubleshooting.

It is possible that the file format of the TV shows that you are trying to synchronize is not compatible with your iPod. Some older iPod models are only able to sync and play the SD versions rather than HD check this article from support for more details and suggestions:

iPod Classic stopped display work.  Work displayed in iTunes.  Updated iTunes to 12.4 but did not help.  I can see how to check and uncheck "Display work" in iTunes but not how on the iPod as others have suggested.  Need to perhaps restore and recharge.

Long ago with including works on devices was optional, and you can sometimes fix cache work on a device by not including and then add it again. This choice has long since disappeared. A complete restoration and reloading is now the only method to recreate the cache.

    If you already have iTunes...

This means that you cannot synchronize because your iPod does not appear in iTunes?  Or does this mean that your iPod isn't appears in iTunes, but it does not sync for some reason any?

iPod classic is expected to communicate via the iPod service rather than Apple Mobile Device Support. The latter is used for iOS devices. Check that the iPod service is running.

  • How can I make sure that my music on my Ipod Classic is not lost forever, if it breaks down?

How can I make sure that my library of music on my Ipod Classic is not lost forever, if it breaks down?

    Back it up.

Your music library should never exist only on your iPod.  It must be present on a computer in iTunes, and to be sure it must be saved on an external drive also.

If your library no longer exists on your computer for whatever, reason, you need to extract the iPod.
