  For some reason unknown, crazy, my microphone is not properly pick up my voice.

He put a huge dent in my work, and I have the biggest headache. I'm tired of it. I just want my mic finally works correctly.

  Windows 7 sometimes has trouble recognizing external drives connected to the USB ports. There are a number of possible corrections for this.

  Method 1: Run the troubleshooter and check if the problem is solved or not.

  Open the troubleshooting of Audio recording

  Method 2 : perform the steps in the article and see if the problem is resolved or not.

  Adjust the microphone volume

  Method 3 : record the sound of the sound recorder and see if it works or not.

  I followed the instructions to download Neospeech voices and performed the installation and it reported success but Captivate shows that Microsoft Anna.

  I can see voice Bridget, Chloé, Julie, Kate and Paul are in the folder C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe \VT Captivate 6 (32 bit) so how do you Captivate to connect?

  Have you checked the settings of the external microphone?

  Go to the Control Panel-> audio devices & audio and on the Volume tab, click the Advanced button.

  Then a new window should appear and you could see different volume controllers.

  Please check if mute was not activated in micro controller

  Hi so in messenger and Skype. people can see me, but they can't hear me. I welcomed the microphohe and all that. I reset the phone and re instslled the app aswell. csn people still hear me when I'm on a phone call he only on am in the aps? Tips to get it working would be perfect thank you b.

  You don't have to do two things:

  • Settings > privacy > Microphone = 'On '.
  • Settings > privacy > Microphone > [each app that requests access to the microphone] = 'On '.

• Why my microphone is distorted when I start my tablet PC?

  Speech recognition does not work when you start upward because the microphone level is full 2/3rds and stuck there.  By 'level is 2/3rds complete', I mean the level indicator in the comments box or the speech Properties window shows 2/3rds full.  Usually I can open and close a window and the level will go down and start working properly.  It seems not to matter which window I choose to open.  Opening and closing a window opportunity will not do the trick, so I have to keep trying different windows until it works.

  Try reinstalling the latest audio driver from the manufacturers website.

  2. what Skype version do you use?
  3. are you able to use the microphone with other applications?

  Follow these steps and check if it solves the problem:

  a. open Skype.
  b. click on tools and then click Options.
  c. now click Sound Devices.
  d. uncheck "Allow Skype to change my sound settings".
  e. click Save.
