Why my photoshop keep black and white lines when I use my lasso tool?

Why my photoshop keep black and white lines when I use my lasso tool? He has never done this before last night. She girls all lasso select box with (what it looks like almost to) Watch black and white lines. then when I go to zoom out, my zoom option begins to ruin where you click and move your mouse to zoom in and out with ease but where to click to zoom back (several times).

Can someone help me?

It looks like an old video driver bug.

Update your video card driver from the website of the manufacturer of the GPU (Intel, AMD/ATI or Nvidia).

  • How to remove the unwanted parts of drawing black and white line

I scanned in a flower art simple black and white lines.  I would like to remove some of the petals in Photoshop.  How can I do?

    Thank youFlower003.jpg

I would like to remove the petals from the background.

1 method: with the select magic wand the white bg, select-> invert the selection and create a layer mask.

The layer mask is a monochrome picture, transparent black, white is opaque and anything in between is more or less transparent.

You can now select the layer mask, use the brush and black paint, where you want to have something white, removed where you want to have something added. It is non-destructive and works very well on your photo.

You can use shift click to 'draw' the small lines to attach to the top. According to the clarification, it will take more or less time. As I said are non-destructive.

Second method: you use the pen to draw the lines around your flower vectors. With little exercise, you'll very quickly and you can always adjust the curvature of your curve, by pulling on the handles of the curve. Here you can see how it works: drawing with the pen in Photoshop tools .

When done with the pen tool, you can add the vector line as a vector mask. You can even refine your mask after finishing. I suggest, since a mask of course work at a refined mask.

The flower should not be on a layer, a background layer. Basemap layers have no transparency. The two methods are non-destructive, so you can return to the original image or parts of it, whenever you want.

  • Layers with black and white line drawings.

I am trying to create a black and white line drawing illustration. I did my drawings on paper and scanned them. Can I PLACE each part of the drawing in its own layer to photoshop. How can I better get the top layer to have a transparent background, so that it is 'visible' to the other layer?

(For example, I have a little girl brushing his teeth.) I also drew the washbasin and the mirror and wardrobe that will see behind the girl. When I put them in two of these pictures I've drawn and scanned, the white background of the girl covers the background picture of the sink and the Cabinet. I tried to use the magnetic tool to trace around the girl and then I copy and paste on another layer and get rid of the original opaque. My lines out as clean and clear as I'd like. Is there a better way?)

Another question: on one of my layers, I want to adjust the size, cut it down and possibly do a spin. How this transformation of size on a single layer and not the entire file?

    Hi redpenpenny,

C.pfaffenbichler said, "multiply" blending mode is your friend here.

To illustrate this, take a look at this composite that I made using my Wacom tablet:

    1. I drew two coats, one with a face and a with a bubble, they are located on separate layers and both have a white background (like your digital images)

    Fig 1:

    Fig 2:

    2. then, I selected the top layer (which is being the bubble) and changed the blend mode 'multiply '.

    Fig. 3:

    3. the white background fades and the two designs are now visible.

    Fig. 4:

    4. just for fun, I placed a texture of paper, I found online on the bottom layer and put my face "Multiply" layer that actually seems as if it was drawn on paper.

When scrolling with the mouse, periodically the entire screen turns into black and white lines. Page sometimes together, sometimes just from ads pictures/side. If you continue to scroll disappear but you need to scroll to where the lines have begun, it's hard to explain, I took 1 picture of the problem but will have more photos that I can, I love how Firefox works on my computer, it has always been the best browser for my needs. I recently bought a new desktop computer, but he did so also, so I deleted and tried to launch the Explorer and Google and I don't like, so I hope that we can settle this problem.

I don't know if it solved the problem, but he didn't precisely these days. Thank you

  • I created a black and white line drawing and then filled with black and white patterns. How do I trace the image so I can color in every room in the background and an image?

I traced a line drawing, then live painted models who are also black and white line drawings.

I can't paint directly because parts of the background are not drawn parts.

Not sure if this makes sense?

I did a black and white coloring made in illustrator that I need to trace and color.

The model split into vectors when you go to object > break down.

  • LaserJet Pro 200 m251nw: Laser Jet Pro 200 color ink bleed on black and white page after some use

I print mostly black and white documents. I recently had 2 ink color of defamation in the pages that are supposed to be just in black and white printed. The first was the magenta, and it might discolor the entire page. The second was yellow, and it could fade just the left and right margins. It was two cartridges to Cartridge World, and they have done very well for some time after the installation or always had plenty of ink left when this problem occurred. The manager at Cartridge World has estimated that perhaps the part of the waste of the cartridge has been complete over time and flees to the ink. He said that for most black and white print still causes the drum on the cartridges of color to turn and empty the little ink in waste room. His suggestion was to get a second monochrome printer for most usage of my impression and just this HP product when the color is required. Who is? Other suggestions? If I replace the suspicious cartridges, print returns to normal, at least for a while.

    Hi @la1959,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see that your HP LaserJet Pro 200 M251nw, color of ink smear on black and white page after some use. I'm happy to help with this problem!

According to the website of Cartridge World, http://www.cartridgeworld.com, it seems to me that these cartridges are rebuilt (refills). And, the information in this guide, can I refill the ink in my HP ink cartridge? States:

Yes, you can. But what do you want? QualityLogic, one of the organizations of quality foremost in the world, has tested the performance of HP refurbished vs brand inkjet print cartridges (filled). Results: original HP inkjet cartridges ink far surpassed refills in print quality and reliability of printing.

  • Hello. Anyone set black and white points when editing? If so, at what point in the workflow do you do that?

Hello. Anyone set black and white points when editing? If so, at what point in the workflow do you do that?

I tend to use after correcting the highlights, shadows, brightness, clarity and contrast may be. In the latest versions of LR you can simply double-click on the word white and black all in now the SHIFT key. Which will automatically define the ends of the histogram. It works fine most of the time, but sometimes I need to go back a little off.

  • Why my PRO - 100 black-and-white prints have a color tint?

I print out on the printer PIXMA Pro-100 and sometimes, for no apparent reason (?), my black and white prints have a color tint (generally a "reddish brown"), then when printing to new... same settings print, same... the same impression will be fine, neutral with no tint at all.

    No idea why?

Also (perhaps related?) I do not understand why Photo-Cyan and Magenta cartridges are exhausted when I'm NOT print color, but only black and white.  Am I missing something?  When you set up for printing, I always make sure that the 'Black and white photography' feature is selected in settings dialog "Quick Installation".  This ensures not only the black and gray inks are used as long as I'm not "toning"?  In other words... ONLY black and gray inks are used, if not the impression that is supposed to be a black and white printing neutral? Yet once... I missed something?

    FOR INFO:

I print on Canon Pro radiance papers and more glossy.

Under 'Options - color management', I selected:

(color management) Photoshop Elements handles colors

    (image area) Adobe RGB (1998)

(the printer profile) Canon PRO-100 1/2 Luster Photo Paper Pro

    (rendering mode) Perceptual

The most important thing is the paper you choose to print on.  Find this first release. Any Epson printer which uses UltraChrome K3 inks will do a better job with B & W as a Pro-(anything).  But Epson suffers from obstruction more far do, Canon Pro-100 problems.

If you print a lot is not too big of a problem, but if you print once a week or once a month to forget it.  Go with Canon that clogged very rarely, if ever.

Try to find the right paper.  It will make everything better.  Call the Red River or Canson and ask them to recommend a book.  Red River will work with you and they know the Pro - 100 inside and outside.

  • Why my pictures become black and white on my screensaver?

When my screensaver comes on, my personal photos appear.  After about 5 minutes, they become black

and white, as they begin to color.  Why is this happening?

Return to your screen saver options (by right-clicking on the desktop and choose personalize, then the screensaver below right.) Once there, click on the settings button.  See if your screen saver has an option 'theme '.  One of them is probably 'Black and White', and you have probably chosen the random theme, which means the black and white theme will appear later every few minutes.

    Thank you!

You might be able to color at least all dark pieces in black through the Edit > edit colors > Recolor art.

You may use it as well to all the other parties in white color (depends on how much there is and if she is not getting too cluttered).

You can also try to use the magic wand tool to select stuff and then apply different colors.

  • Sort of printing black and white only when magenta cartridge is empty?

We have a HP Office Jet Pro 8500 a. computer running Windows Vista.

The Magenta cartridge is currently empty, and we need to print an urgent document before we will be able to get a new cartridge.

While trying to print a black and white document only, the following error has occurred:

    Exhausted ink cartridges

    HP 940 Magenta

The cartridges listed above must be replaced to resume printing.

HP recommends that you do not remove an ink cartridge until a replacement is ready to install.

Specified in printing dialog windows that we want only black and white, but it is still received this error message.

Is it possible to adjust the printer settings to specify explicitly that you want to use black ink?

Thanks for any help you can give.

This printer takes individual ink cartridges (IIC), and this ink delivery system requires that all cartridges to be installed for the printer to work. You can set the printer to "Using black ink only", but that must be done before a cartridge is exhausted, that the printer inks for other uses in fairest impression. It also uses the ink for the maintenance of the print heads. Here a link to a document that turns to explain various ways that ink is used in a printer beyond just printing.

  • Can I force black and white printing when there is 1 empty cartridge (magenta).

I want to bypass the unable to print my 3210xi all in one screen. I want to print in black and white only. I'm out of ink in a cartridge (magenta). In my view, this printer is holding me hostage for a color, I don't want even use! I need to know if there is a way to force the printing if there is a cartridge that is empty.

Yes, this employee of Officemax is correct. I know that I have comes from this document for the quote above in the post, but you can reference it to learn more about using ink in addition to just print. This link can be developed on how it is used in the maintenance of the product and go on to discuss composite black and other aspects more in detail if you have already looked and wanted more information on the use of ink in Printers Ink Jet.

  • Fine black and white lines on the video output

I loaded a project packed to make changes.  (The project was packed with a computer other than my current. Everything seems clean in the Prime Minister.  I came out of the standard parameters of Vimeo.  One of the clips of GoPro exports come as white lines that cover the screen.  Cuts before and after are the same camera, but dot display such problems.  The project initially issued very well.  I initially used neoscene to decompress images.  I even ran the film original neoscene once again, but no change.   Suggestions?

Thanks Jim.  I solved the problem.  I don't know what the cause was, but when I re-unzipped the file using free software GoPros, the files will appear clean again.

  • Large black and white squares when editing in Photoshop CC 2015

I have seen and reviewed the thread with a similar problem here: large squares white or black in my pic on screen

However, I have no plugins installed on my google Nik, both OS X 10.10 and Windows 10 present the same problem. (CC 2015). Again a new install of Windows 10 has this issue.

Editing photos in ACR is no problem.

The problem appears only after 5-10 minutes of editing in PS.

I tried to update the graphics drivers and change the basic parameters of advanced drawing and I have not seen any change.

    Hi msalisbu,

Sorry for the question with Photoshop.

Under preferences performance uncheck use graphics card processor

Restart PS, and then check if the problem is resolved.

    Concerning
