Why my printer HP Deskjet D1415 printing used series?

The USB cable is connected and turned on my camera. Also, I've always had a problem (even now) my turn printer off, even if I press and hold the button several times. I reinstalled the printer also program. What because my ink level is very low? Or is it something else?
Should which port I use. Also when I reinstalled it they always ask me to put the name of the file that came with my CD but I lost it.  Do you know what it is?
My printer was also the impression before I tried to resubmit the new ink cartridges, but I always had a problem with it.  Thank you for your help.
I have Windows 2000 Professional.

  • DeskJet 5500: When the printer uses the 57 cartridge?

I thank very you much for your reply to my last post. Makes perfect sense.

I'm doing a huge amount of B & W / grey scale printing; I use 56 about two cartridges a week and I reload them successfully for a few tens of cycles each.

My 57 cartridges also mpty very frequently while I print almost any color - the only color is perhaps a small logo on the page.

I tried to use the gray filter in Macintosh 10.4.11 system to send a grayscale image to the printer, but the 57 cartridge still empty quickly, even if the printed color is negligible.

If the page still contains the least amount of color, 57 cartridge automatically prints the whole page, or the cartridge 56 prints black and the 57 print the little bit of color?

If the 57 prints the whole page if it contains ANY color, is there anything I can do in the impression of New York to get the printer to use the cartridge 56 instead? I took to remove the cartridge 57, but when I put again, the printer goes through the cycle of test page, I want to avoid if I can.

Thanlk in advance for your help.  I can't tell you how much it means for a user that a knowledgeable HP employee has actually answered questions through this forum. Other companies to let users themselves, often to hang in the wind without usable responses.

Many use printers, not only HP, so-called 'underprinting' this is the pose of an ink of color on the page before the black ink.  Essentially, it is a primer for the paper.  The color dries quickly and is a base for black ink, allowing it to dry and cure without spreading out on the page.  If you have already printed with the cartridges out of alignment and saw a blue or magenta shadow to your text, you see the underprinting.  That's why, when the same printing black text, the printer uses a color ink.

This printer is able to print reserve mode, which means it can print with 1 single cartridge installed.  The printing speed may be slower, but it's an easy way to make sure you are not using any color.  For reserve mode, remove the cartridge you want to use.  (Find a hermetic place to store this vertical cartridge with the nozzles pointing down as it is when it is installed in the printer, or it will dry out and become useless!)  To leave the reserve mode, put a good cart in the empty slot.

  • Why my Epson Workforce 630 does not print using my Windows 7 computer?

I have a printer Epson Workforce 630. All cartridges are new, just replaced. The ink levels are normal on the printer and it prints documents audit nozzle locally and my small laptop running Windows 7. It is also used to print from my desktop Alienware x 51 running Windows 7. My computer is connected to Ethernet and the WiFi printer to print. This is not him point because I've had the same setup for over a year now, and that worked before. The printer is recognized on my computer. I can ping on command prompt, sign in to Chrome and it is listed as being active in my list of devices and printers. I can't print in WiFi or USB. When I try to print wirelessly, it merely display the normal print screen, no errors. Then after a few minutes, I check the print queue, and there is an error - printing... from the state table. When I connect via USB, it gives me an error of communication. Here is a good list of things I checked:

    • I checked the control panel of Verizon. The printer is active and online.
    • The printer WiFi light is green.
    • The printer has ink Epson and can print locally.
    • The printer can print from another wireless laptop and a USB connection (running Windows 7, same as my Alienware x 51).
    • The printer used to print on my current configuration of the office.
    • The printer returns the packages when ping via the command prompt.
    • The printer can be connected to the use of the local address that is located on the control panel of Verizon via a web browser.
    • The printer has a large green checkmark beside him in devices and printers and is listed as being active.
Here is a good list of things that I tried to solve the problem:
    • Uninstall and reinstall the latest drivers for the printer (several times).
    • Connect via USB and have Windows 7 trying to print via USB. Communication error.
    • Turn off the printer and turn it back on.
Here is a list of the things I'm doing which could have caused the problem:
    • I joke with the rules in the port forwarding Verizon Control Panel. I deleted a bunch, a few months ago. However, other printers can print, so I don't know.
    • I fiddle around with regedit, and I defrag my registry of every day. Could it have caused the problem?
    • I have a lot of process stop and disable services that I have no idea about.
    • I delete the files I'm not familiar with.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you!

    Hi carbon,

As he did not work in the administrator account, we need to repair the operating system files.

You can perform in-Place Upgrade (repair install) and check.

  • Why my printer does not print with Windows 8?

Why my printer does not print with Windows 8?

Did you just upgraded or purchased a new computer with Windows 8, and now you can't get your printer to work?  If so, this can help you.  Many people have questions about the installation of their printer on a new OS.  This will help you answer these questions and make sure you get everything installed.

    Before you start

Before you try to install the printer on a Windows 8, you should check to make sure that the printer is compatible with the new OS.  The link below will give you a list of printers that will work in Windows 8.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03168175

If you have upgraded your computer to Windows 8 formed another version of Windows, make sure all software uninstall complete of your printer.  It should still print, but to use all the features, you will need to reinstall the software, if available.

Another thing to consider is how you want to connect the printer to the computer.

    1. USB.  You must ensure that you have a USB cable which does not exceed 6 feet (about 2 m).  Be sure to connect the printer directly to the computer.  Do not use a USB hub.

    2. Ethernet cable.  Make sure you have the network configuration, you have a free cable port on the router, and you have an available Ethernet cable.

    3. Wireless.  You must ensure that you have the configuration of the wireless network, and you have the password of the wireless network.

    1. installation Via USB

Installation via USB in Windows 8 became much simpler for users of HP printer.  In other versions of the Windows operating system, you need to launch the installation and wait that it asks for the USB connection.  If you do not, you will need to uninstall the printer from the devices and printers folder and then launch the installation.  In Windows 8, which won't be a problem.  If you plug the USB cable from the printer and then install the printer software, work remains.  Now for in depth instructions on installing the printer via the USB port click on the link below.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03521864

2 installation Via an Ethernet network connection

For an Ethernet connected printer, the installation is disconcerting.  All you have to do is to connect the printer to the network.  Once you have done so, Windows 8 will automatically install the drivers for you.  Then, all you have to do is install the rest of the software, if available.  It's really as simple as that.

    http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/support-drivers.html

3 installation Via a wireless network connection.

For a wireless printer, network installation is disconcerting.  All you have to do is to connect the printer to the network.  Once you have done so, Windows 8 will automatically install the drivers for you.  Then, all you have to do is install the rest of the software, if available.  It is roughly the same as just Wireless Ethernet installation.

    http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/support-drivers.html

    Alternative installation methods

With Windows 8, the drivers of many printers are installed with the operating system.  These are called pilots InOS, since they come built-in to the operating system.  If you have one of these printers, you should have to do simply connect it to the computer via USB, or connect to the network via Ethernet or wireless.  Once you have that makes Windows will take care of the rest.  There are other methods of installation of your printer if normal methods don't work for some reason any.  You can install the printer is using the printer, or through Windows Updates Setup Wizard.

    Set printer wizard:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02681060

    Windows Update:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03460648

Note: The drivers of Laserjet for the Asia-Pacific and the Japan will come only at a later date.  See below the link support site for the availability of the driver.  I will update this post once they become available.

    Hope that answers some questions.
