  Using DW CS5.5, I created a simple contact form 12 field. Rather than using a cgi script to send form data, I prefer to use php.  Can someone provide me with a source for simple instructions on how to do it?  I searched past discussion forums, but can't find anything that will guide me in the specific steps.  The form is already installed on my page, but now I don't know what to do next to make functional, so it will send to my address e-mail, form data when the user clicks the submit button.  I checked online also, but to find the instructions more geared towards those who have more experience or knowledge than me in this kind of things.  Creation of shapes on the page is easy, and I understand the big picture regarding how work of forms, and what happens in the background, but it is impossible to find out what either written in simple language that will tell me step by step what to do after the creation of the form on the page.

  I think that both hidden and display elements have attributes that can cause problems because of different ways these function elements as the only non-display and feature no hidden items. The only items have a "Save Session State' yes/no 'control'? This can be a problem.

  Would you do that? Do these regular items instead and see if you can get those working. Then, we will try to change the fields back to hidden or display only.

  I use Linux operating system (Arch linux).
  
  I tried a few libraries that uses the sms online portals, but for some reason, I don't want to pay these sites. (just to make my card SIM cause its economic want).

  The first thing you need to check: are you able to access other services my connection your phone by USB to the computer (line GPRS, calling). Because it requires the call or SMS access to the port. And you said that it is economic by sending an SMS using mobile, that depends. But most of the time, it is best to use the SMS service provider getway. They provide details http or FTP, there just put or message in the form accepitng, things happen by providing it service.

  I have an updated registration form used as a contact using the MEASUREMENT form.

  He has a couple of fields which are files and uses of MEASUREMENT for upload to the server.

  I also use ABLE to send emails, the contents of the form to the owner of the site.

  Would I be able to send these files as attachments to this email?

  Looking at it, it seems not let me pick a form contained in attachment of the field, but I could be missing something.

  Even if the MEASURE would allow you to choose the file field´s in this purpose, of course it s quite problematic, because this information (the name of the file to be downloaded) alone does not represent the physical location of this file on your server * after * it s been downloaded - and it s the way of the full file that could be expected , and which is not determined by the value of this field in file.

  I designed a static pdf form using Livecycle. I want to send to recipients of the form, and I need that they me the pdf form back. I can do this without problems on Adobe Acrobat Pro, but my friends who use Adobe Reader cannot save the completed form. Adobe Reader offers to save a blank copy of the form or print filled. But not what I need. I need to have best x of the form (pdf file) filled by my beneficiaries of x. Y at - it option in Livecycle for to save the form filled out on Acrobat Reader?

  Hi Enrique.

  So that users with the reader to be able to save your form, it must be "enabled drive" before you send it.

  You have three choices:

  • Drive allow the form with LC Reader Extensions ES2, which is a component of server based on the rest of the company. It is planned for the processing of large volumes of data/forms and an additional cost per form.
  • Player select the form using Acrobat Standard v9 (or Acrobat Pro v7 to v8). It has less than 500 users per form license restrictions.
  • Instead of users with reader to send the return in PDF form. You can configure a button "send as XML. It does not require users to drive to save the form.

  You need webutil for integration on the client side.

  There are functions to obtain information on the client
  love to read the name of the client (pc name), to read and write to the registry and so on.

  Thanks for the clarification on the h which is exactly the test/email that gets sent when you or someone on your pc is to create a conversation of Hello firefox and click the "link email" to invite another person to this conversation. This is something that happens and gets sent after manual steps by the user, so there should not be a reason to worry about this.

  Firefox 4 does not save form data after sending form and pressing the back button... It's very annoying that it erases all data. It worked fine on FF3.
