The unusual thing is that they have a 169.254.0.0/16 subnet. Don't ask me why this address range has been used but it is there. (169.254.0.0/16 is a space of address reserved for windows clients that cannot receive an IP via DHCP)

  Note: I configured manually my computer an arbitrary IP address and the subnet mask when you use only the ethernet, cRIO combo switch, no network. But I can't repeat the cRIO connection, there may be a step I'm missing.
