  I bought a new computer Samsung with Windows 8, two weeks ago. On my old computer, I could choose a file in a folder, then alt - tab to another folder and then drop the selected file. Now, every time I select a file and use alt - tab, the file automatically becomes deselected.

  This never happened to me in my previous versions of Windows.

  To be clear: my keyboard and touch pad working perfectly fine. It is a problem of Windows when you use drag-and - drop jointly with alt - tab.

  This feature is also available in Windows 8. You must select a copy of the file and click alt + tab and select the folder where the file should be moved or pasted.

  Yes, it has finished indexing, but you gave me an idea.  It is with a great project.  I opened a smaller and the search function has been activated and works well.

  So I trashed the media Cache in the larger project where research was MIA, and... still no luck.

  But I started to denigrate unused items and remembered "Edit > delete is not used," and brought the search box.  Thus, it seems that some element of the project was originally research project must be disabled.

  So let's examine this question an answer.  Thank you, Mark and Kevin.

  The lit touch buttons near the screen (in accordance with the power button) on top of keyboard without function longer. As well as the light for the numbers pad.

  First uninstall Hp Qucik buttons launch the program and features in the control panel and restart you Notebook and check if new drivers are installing and the buttons work correctly.

  Hello benpierce25, try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    then select restart with disabled modules.

  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration.   I changed the subject: config to make the rotation gesture to move between tabs and it worked great for well over a year. It now behaves properly, as described here:

  It used to be very controllable move a tab on, now it is erratic and moves quickly and the unexpected tabs regardless of the slowness, I do the gesture of rotation. It's the main reason I use Firefox on Chrome and I will continue to do so unless there is no solution for this.

  Just put the browser.gesture.twist.threshold to something around 15-25.

  I'm at the edge of madness since August 14 I'm more able to print on ANY of my HP Officejet printers (both 4500 and a 6500 all in UNITS).  I checked my e-mail address after this thought maybe there would be something Softronics or H.P. in there as a bug or a problem, and of course, there was something H.P.

  I downloaded and ran the "so-called fix."  It wouldn't work.   I'm at the end of my mind and actually BROKEN printers all over my patio.  Childish, maybe, but you have NO IDEA how bad that company makes me mad after the purchase of 17 computers and 8 printers in recent years.  NONE WORK PROPERLY.  NOT A SINGLE ONE.

  H.P. will NOT help me.  But it's NOTHING new to them.  I will NEVER buy another HP product again.  I tried to print a label of mail for more than two weeks now.

  Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer drivers?
  Turn your printer off, and then try to manually uninstall all HP printers and drivers.
