  So, try to disable the webcam software and other e-mail programs in msconfig.

• BioShock 2 not working with Windows LIVE?

  I downloaded BioShock 2 from direct2drive and installed. The game works well.

  However, when I start the game and try and start a new solo campaign, he asks me to sign in with a Windows LIVE ID I got an Xbox LIVE account, so I tried to use that, and then he asked me to install an update.   OK... I've recreated the problem and it has to with your hotmail/live account or your gamerstag with xbox live.

  When you update bioshock 2 updates for the profile of this user in game then... delete all game profiles.

  then go back in the game and create a new profile, type your live/hotmail account and password, and boom. it find your gamerstag online and give you the option to change the account settings while you are etc. When you are finished, close IE and return in bioshock 2. It will update one last time, then close the game. When you start back up, boom, no problem.
