• The program monitor shows only half of the picture

  Hi I'm new in preview, for some reason any when I open a photo in the program monitor, it shows that half of the picture, straight cut, in the Center (see below). I used to be able to see the entire photo and add the title and text to it.

  The first thing I would look at is the Sequence of parameters - click, on the top menu and ensure that the settings are - post a screenshot please. Your program monitor looks like a size extra-large, much wider than the standard ratio 16:9 HD or 4 K.

  The setting sequence is the basis for everything in your project - if it's wrong to start, all you will be affected later.

  Once you have a correct adjustment sequence you are satisfied, still images or video clips you want to use may not be the same dimensions/dimensions you chose for your sequence (such as 1080 p which is 1920 x 1080 pixels). You may have a still picture with larger dimensions, and then it will appear cropped as you currently see as its size does not match sequencing. Think of it as the photo was too big for a picture frame.

  As Jim mentioned, you can use the effect Adobe path across the source to fit, however it can be quicker and easier to simply with the right button of the image on the timeline, and then select define framework - this will automatically go to the media in your sequence.

  You might get lucky, plug your phone into a charger and connect to the wifi and see if the backup will continue, otherwise you will start.

  New photos by email to yourself or import them to your computer.

• Half of the songs deleted but free space not available!

  I've had my e260 for about a year now. Recently, we have day of dial-up internet cable, so the opening of an older version of Windows Media Player, it is upgradded automatically to WMP10. I connected the e260 with its USB data cable to the computer to delete some songs and add a little, as I had always done on the older version of WMP. The first thing I noticed was that the player screen is suddenly filled with small mobile blue rectangles. I unplugged, turn it off, then restarted. I reconnected to the computer, and then saw that WMP recognized only 246 songs, that which none could not remove.   Try to run ChkDsk. If this doesn't solve all your problems, you need to format (erase all content) and re - charge the player. I hope you have your files backed up.

  2. in the upper left corner, click Turn Windows features On or OFF.

  3. click on games and uncheck the box Spider solitaire and Mahjong, and ok.

  4 restart the computer, and then follow the same steps and check these two games.

• Why the brightness in Windows 8 option is not available and how can I make it available?

  I have recently installed Windows 8 Pro on a new Sony VAIO L Series (SVL24116FXB).  When I go into the settings in the bar of charms, the brightness setting shows that it is not available.  I updated my video card for the latest driver from NVIDIA Web site and who has not solved the problem.  In a dark room, the screen can sometimes be unbearably bright and I need a way to get the screen automatically dim or at least to have the accessible brightness via the charms bar adjustment function.

  The indicator LIGHT and the CURSOR can be found in the CHARMS bar by the charm of SETTINGS under BRIGHTNESS.

  BRIGHTNESS is NOT available on desktop computers, this is a feature only found on tablets and laptops, as circuits for display are related directly to the motherboard within the unit.
  To change the brightness on a desktop computer, you will have to do in the old-fashioned way, via the controls of your monitor settings.

• Why do I get a "not available for this file overview.

  When you try to upload photos with a key USB cable iPhone 6 in Lightroom 6, I get, "Preview not available for this file" for just about all the images except for a few.  I'm not able to import images... any ideas on why this is happening?  All systems updated.  This only happens when you try to import the iPhone.  Very frustrating.

  A fews weeks ago seemed to solve the problem by checking the "Prevent ipods, iphones and ipads of automatic synchronization" box in the iTunes/device preferences, but now it doesn't seem to work.

  Any thoughts on why this is happening?  Thanks a lot for your help!

  Could you please try and move the images from the phone to a folder on your computer and then try and import the images in LR in this folder.
