Why save it back unchanged PDF does change the size?

I have a client who sent me a PDF file per day. If I take the file that gave me, open in Acrobat Reader XI and re - register (without making any changes to it), the file size reduced by perhaps from 20 to 100 KB. How can I determine what is the difference between the 2 files - or what he does to make the file smaller?

I started to do this because if I didn't, my PDF processing application (Planet Press) - cannot read the file, but once I open and resave it, it works fine.

Thoughts?

There is a default option in Acrobat to allow quick display of Web pages at check - he reorganized the internal structure of the file may change slightly the overall size.

  • Why Event.ADDED run HGroup when you change the size of the element?

    Hello

I was wondering why my listeners Event.ADDED/REMOVED run when I change the size of an element in a HGroup... I can't understand. Both are running.

I am writing a card game and I want to increase the size of a card in the HGroup on mouseOver. If I comment on changes in the width and height, the listener of Event.ADDED/REMOVED is not called. It runs only when I change the size of the map. The card is a custom BorderContainer component.

    Thank you

    Gabor

The event.target must indicate what is to be added and removed.

Depending on the content, I suppose it is possible that the graphics have to be recalculated to display new objects and that they be deleted and added.

  • How I bounce back without having to change the setting of 'Protection against overload only' amateur off EACH time?

How I bounce back without having to change the setting of 'Protection against overload only' amateur off EACH time?

This setting should be preserved, once you set it... so I'm not sure why you have to define every time...

Then... Make sure that you put on ALL the tools of the art of logic in the preferences of LPX...

Otherwise... you may need to reset the prefs of LPX... Put all the Tools Advanced again and the other preferences you have set... and see if that fixes things for you...

You can resolve many issues by restoring Logic Pro X back to its original settings. This will not affect your media files. To reset your settings preferences of the user to Logic Pro X to their original state, do the following:

    1. Logic Pro X to quit smoking
    2. In the Finder, select go to folder menu reach.
    3. Type ~/Library/Preferences in the field 'go to folder '.
    4. Press the Go button.
    5. Delete the com.apple.logic10.plist file from the Preferences folder. Note that if you set custom shortcuts, it will reset to the default values. You can export your custom key as a preset before performing this step. See the Logic Pro X user manual for details on how to do this.
    6. If you are having problems with a control surface in Logic Pro X, you can also delete the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file in the Preferences folder.
    7. Restart the computer.

Note: If you cannot find the files listed above, you don't follow the instructions properly!

  • change the size of the icon screen '100% ' disappeared. How can I get that back.

I had my computer fixed recently.  No, I have to change the size of the content on the screen to go when I'm on the internet?  I use 100% by the icon at the bottom of my screen and it has now disappeared.  How can I get that back?  Why have I to change the size of the Web page after my computer has been repaired?

I guess you're talking about Internet Explorer...
He could reappear if you turn on the status bar.  To enable it, start Internet Explorer, and then
View-> toolbars-> and make sure that there is a check in front of the "status bar".
If you do not have a menu 'View' then press the 'Alt' key once.

Also, you should be able to go to 100% by pressing the 'Ctrl' key while pressing "0" (zero).

You can also zoom in and out by holding down the 'Ctrl' key and turning the mouse wheel.

    Change the screen resolution

Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.

  • Resize a picture does change the dimensions?

    original title: resize Photo Gallery

resize a picture really does change the deminsions of the photo, as of 4 "x 6" to 3.5 "x 5", or is it simply adjust the resolution? "

The size is resolution / pixels horizontally and vertically.

Also known as crop or zoom in on a certain place on a photo.

Resizing to compress the entire file, while retaining the proportions,

Resize in wl Photo Gallery is not an exact science, it gives references waves to the dimensions that you posted almost useless.

First of all, I would like to ask what you are trying to do and why?

Microsoft Paint has better / more accurate way to resize the files.

Which can be done by the percentage of the existing file or Pixel sizes, which is most useful if you need an exact pixel size for avatars...

  • Globally change the size of several imported into InDesign PDF

I just use a script to import a PDF of the page 1 299.  I would like to change the SIZE of all of the PDF files I imported.

I have to go to each page (1 299) and change the size manually?

"" Don't know what script you used, but I recommend this one: InDesignSecrets "Blog Archive" Zanelli releases MultiPageImporter for importing PDF and INDD files

It allows you to set the scale when you execute it, and it will be a heck of a lot faster just re-run the script to a file rather than go back and manually scale 1299 PDF pages. The other option would be to find a script that can find the already plced pages and scale them, but I don't know of one that is already available. You could ask for more in InDesign Scripting

    ·         Are you referring to the wallpaper or screensaver?

Change the size of the screen saver screen saver-depends if it can be increased or decreased.

  • Change the size of the text only does not work

Font size standard on most of the Windows I have open in Windows 8 is a 5 or 6. I'm in front of my computer, 6 to 8 hours per day (teacher online), and it's the single most annoying problem that I have ever met.  "Change the size of the text only ' on my display settings page is grey - there is no solution.  Can I change the size of everything, that gives me giant icons, but the text on all the windows is still tiny.

I hope someone has a useful suggestion. Please don't tell me to go to "Change the size of text only." This is the function that does not work.
My Windows 8 was purchased in January - part of the Microsoft $! 5 offer to people who bought computers between October and December of last year. The installation went fairly well, but I had this problem of fonts since then.  ASUS computer laptop, Intel core I7, good resolution, good speed, ideal machine, except that Windows has me squint all that day, seven days a week.
Thank you and best regards, all

    Hi Reggie

The option "Change only the size of the text" applies only to the text for the following items.

    Title bars

    Menus

    Message boxes

    Titles of palette

    Text of the icon

    ToolTips

What you need to do is select the link "Custom resizing options" directly above the option "Change only the text size.

In the dialog box move the cursor in the rule box, hold down the left button of the mouse and drag the rule. If the size is 100%, try to start with it to 125%.

Click OK, and then apply. You will be asked to disconnect / connect to before the change takes effect.

If 125% does not for you try to bump the size up one another 10% gradually until you are satisfied.

Let us know if it works for you.

  • Change the size of the resolution and the image does not change the result on the screen?

I use Photoshop CS3. I'm changing the resolution of several images that will be printed in a newspaper. So the current images are 72 dpi and really huge - for example 36 x 27 inches (size of the document), and when I change it to 300 dpi, the size of the image to reduce to about 8 x 6 inches, as I hope. But the image I see on the screen does not change. Thus, for example, when I open the image originally, it's 33% and the entire image is visible. After I change the resolution and the size of the image has changed accordingly, the image appears to be always the same and it remains at 33%. The image should not shrink on the screen because its size has been reduced? Or if she stays the same on the screen, the percentage should not change? I mean if the size of the document is now 8 x 6, it should be able to display at 100% and not to fill my whole screen... I'm so confused. Thank you...

    Gradded,

The "Size of the Document" of the dialog box size of the Image is just to specify the size (in inches) that your document will be printed. The ppi adjustment has nothing to do with what is displayed on your monitor. Your monitor does not care something about PPI. The monitor contains a number of pixels and after you change this setting, ppp, the monitor will always be the same number of pixels.

As long as you leave the box "Resampling" disabled, will not change the size of your image (pixel Dimensions). You won't see any change on your monitor. If you check "Resample", then the size (in pixels) of your image will change.

    I hope this helps.

  • Why are the forum messages change the size of my text at random

It seems that some of the messages I will change the size of police randomly. I'll write that one paragraph will suddenly be a sentence that changed the font size. I'm not changing the sizes manually until someone knows what is the cause. He started with the change of forum, and I'm on Safari 9.1.1

I think it is happening to us all.

They may things work within a few days (or weeks).

    Hang in there.

  • Why zoom in Windows 7 has also changed the font size in Firefox?

I have win7 and I tried to change the size of the text/icon from windows to 125%. It has also affected everything in firefox (text tabs, bar etc, not the text on the pages you want to change by pressing ctrl + / address). I changed it to 100% and everything became really tiny. How can I make standard size any zoom that I use in windows itself.

Have you had experience of this kind of problem before?

    Sincerely
    Antti

    You can try this:

    1. Open the properties of the desktop Firefox shortcut (right click: properties)
    2. Go to the Compatibility tab
    3. Make a mark before "Disable display timing of high DPI settings" to see if this has the effect.

You can use an extension to set a page zoom and the size of the default font on the web pages.
