Globally change the size of several imported into InDesign PDF

I just use a script to import a PDF of the page 1 299.  I would like to change the SIZE of all of the PDF files I imported.

I have to go to each page (1 299) and change the size manually?

"" Don't know what script you used, but I recommend this one: InDesignSecrets "Blog Archive" Zanelli releases MultiPageImporter for importing PDF and INDD files

It allows you to set the scale when you execute it, and it will be a heck of a lot faster just re-run the script to a file rather than go back and manually scale 1299 PDF pages. The other option would be to find a script that can find the already plced pages and scale them, but I don't know of one that is already available. You could ask for more in InDesign Scripting

When you change the size of several images with file - process several files (or batch processing, however it is called on the menu in English)

There seems to be a bug in Version 11.

Regardless of my entries, that the file size is reduced to under 10% of the original value, such as 4 MB to 350 KB.

Even if I don't score no parameter for a change of size and also, do not change the format, the file size is decreased.

The entries in the properties / details of the converted jpg correspond to the settings in the menu, but the actual size is very small.

Seems that PES 11 has low values in the default settings in the background and does not take into account all entries.

  • Need help! Will pay! Need a script that will change the size of the art on several files.

I'll PayPal someone MONEY right now for this script. I have more than 400 files to process.

System/software: Adobe Illustrator CS6 on PC
    Filetype (s): .ai

I have more than 400 .ai files that contain work in all different sizes. I need a script that resizes the work at certain height or width specifications below.

Some of the height of the work is greater than the width, some of the width of the work is greater than the height.

If the overall of the art vertical height selected is greater than the width, I need the new height to be 166,6 pt
If the horizontal art width selected is greater than the height, I need the new width to 166,6 pt

The value of the width/height unchanged at 166,6 pt must be limited to the new values.

If possible, I also need to change the size of the artboard to 216px x 216px. He is currently in 512px x 512px.

    Help, please! I'll pay!

  • How to change the sizes of elements of array programmatically?

    Hi all

I have a small question about changing the size of the elements in the array. I hope someone can help, because I am in a bind!

I connect certain intensities of a range of fibers using a camera. For the calibration of the system, I gain a picture of the camera, click on the image points to divide it into areas of interest. I have my image to overlay with a grid indicating the areas of interests - for example a 4 x 6 picture. I then have to select fibers - or Kings - I want to connect from.

I have a cluster type-def (a number and a Boolean value) to specify the number of fibers and to enable logging of this fibre power. I superimpose a (transparent) picture of this typedef on my image to correspond with the regions of interest. So here's my problem - I want to change the dimensions of the table for each control corresponds to my KING. I can resize the elements of law on the elements on the façade, but couldn't find a way to do it programmatically. The array property node > element of array > limits don't "change to write" it's the first thing I tried.

Its only really important elements alignment with my Kings - so adding in the gaps/spacing programmatically would also work for me... goal again once I can't understand how to do this! I've attached a screenshot of part of my image with table superimposed to show you all exactly what is my problem.

Thanks in advance for you help,

    Dave

PS I'm under Labview 8.6 without adding vision on.

Here is my cheat (and cheap) way if you want to get fancy and Center digital indicators and booleans, you could add shims on the North and west sides, too.

  • How can I change the size of a picture

I imported the photos in the Gallery windows. I'm placing an ad in the paper, when I went to upload a photo, he said it was great, change the size of the photo before you download again

    Greetings, abbygirl09,

I know several ways to resize the pictures.

The first I will suggest is to open the picture with Windows Photo Gallery.  Then click on "email".  You should get a pop-up window with a drop-down menu to select a size.  Choose a size smaller than the original, and send it to yourself.  If this doesn't work for you for some reason any:

Open the photo in paint.  (Start > all programs > Accessories > paint, then file > open > Browse your photo)  Then click on Image and Resize, and you should be on your way.

You can also download another free image editing programs.  I love Google's Picasa3.

Please let me know if you have succeeded!

  • Change the size of the preview area XD

I have a project with a lot of tips from art. They are the size of 1280 x 1024. When I preview them after the last update (0.5.4.51) I only see half of the window. I would like to have the ability to change the size of the preview window.

Just to clarify the current behavior...

In most cases, if you resize an existing work plan to be bigger, it automatically turns into a scrolling work plan.  The original height will be the size of display in the preview, and the new height will be the total height of the content that you can scroll in this window.

So, for example, in the original screenshot above you may have begun with the size of the work plan "Web 1280" and then resizes taller - looks like it is 1280 x 1024 in the screenshot?  When you select the element inside the artboard, you will see a blue dotted line that indicates the height of the viewport (and in the preview window or web for sharing, you can use the mousewheel or the trackpad to scroll vertically).

Automatically scroll work plan is convenient, but unfortunately it isn't always what you want.  So in our next update we will give you the options to enable or disable scrolling on any plan of work.

In the meantime, if you want a larger plan of work just be up - never scroll - then you can use this workaround:

    1. Select the work plan tool
    2. Drag to draw a new plan of work as a custom size
    3. Optional: Enter the width/height values in the properties panel to get a more accurate size
    4. Locate one of your old workplans that has unwanted active scroll.  Marquee-select on any of the artboard to select the entire document, and then copy paste the content on the new work plan.

Work plans which were drawn by dragging with the tool of work plan will never auto scroll on.  After step 3, you can use Cmd - D to duplicate the work plan Virgin created if you have several old worktops to fix.

I know the workaround is a bit awkward - but fortunately it is temporary.  In our next release, you will be able to select (or multiple selection!) work plans and just disable scrolling directly.

I hope that helps to explain things!

  • How can I change the size of my radio buttons

I am building a survey and option buttons are too small. I wish they were bigger in the region of clickble and visually. I copied the external library to my folder and tried to modify the assets of the radiobutton. I double click on the symbol in the library to enter editing mode, make the changes, and then return to scene 1. Then I drag a component to the stage, but the changes I made are not reflected in the new instance - it looks exactly the same as before.

    Thank you, mgsDolphin

I tried to change the size of the circle of radio button component to make it easier to choose. To change the size of the circle that is clickable, you import radio button component assets into your library. Help Flash provides a good explanation of this. In my Flash file is stored in:
    Macromedia > Flash > EN > component interface component user FLA > HaloTheme.FLA > Flash > themes > MMDefault > active RB

You drag active RB out of the external library panel and in the library of your FLA file. Now you can work on them.

The active key in the elements folder and is called Radio form 1. When you double-click on this you can evolve it and which changes size Visual and clickable circle RB. A problem is that the change is not visible in the FLA, you will need to run the SWF file to see.

  • How to change the size of the url and Google search boxes?

I was able to change the size of the URL box, but not the Google search box. By doing so, I could show more extensions in the FF window.

You can attach a screenshot to show what you are trying to reach?

Use a type of compressed as PNG or JPG image to save the screenshot.

Note that you must set a fixed width for the address bar and the search bar to disable their attributes of flex.

Add code to the file userChrome.css below default @namespace.

The file userChrome.css (UI) customization and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder.

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

    #urlbar-container { max-width:400px !important; }
    #search-container { max-width:200px !important; }

  • How can I change the size of the address bar in firefox 18?

I want to make the address bar much smaller and much bigger search bar (I want still allows them to use the full width of the toolbar). I read elsewhere in the forums that you can change the size of the bar by going to CUSTOMIZE and once the cursor turns into a cursor resize, click and drag. However, who has worked for me with previous versions of Firefox. Since I had to upgrade, the cursor remains a helping hand and never becomes the arrow resize.

No, you don't have to go to customize mode.

You need to do it in normal mode and hover the mouse between the two bars.

  • Puzzled by changing the size of the array of Bell Curve (or made gaussien)

I use an instrument which entered a table 1 d signal. When you draw the it, it looks a lot like a Gaussian function (it looks very good too).

What I want to do is to change the size of the array of this input function (basically I want to increase the size of table).

For example, when you look at the picture attached, you will see that the size of the curve in the picture on the left, which is the GROSS ENTRY, 70 =.

What I want to do is to change this size to a number of interest (for example, let's say 80)...

So basically I want to insert 10 new numbers in the table (in random places), but I want these 10 numbers to fit on the best-fit-the signal line (like you see in the image to the right).

So I tried to use Gaussian worthy, and cubic spline worthy... etc but none of these features allow me to change the size of the table of the output to adapt.

Any of them do not give you the equation of the line of best - fit either... so I can't solve Y for a known X.

It is very important for me to continue my project.

    Thank you very much

Look at the palette under Interpolation in the math palette.  You can find something that will work for you.  It will not add points on the equation, but should allow you to get more points along your curve.

The following free PowerToy for Windows XP
can resize batches of photos very quickly:

Go to the following link and download and
    install: ImageResizer.exe

    (Filename: ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe)
    (does not work on Vista).

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Windows XP downloads - PowerToys
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/XP-downloads#2TC=featured
(start with left click of the PowerToys column)

When it is installed, you can open any file that
contains images and you will have an option for
Resize. Just right click the selected image files
and choose resize images in the menu. You
can select a picture or an entire group.

The program will place the resized in copies
    the folder with your originals.
(Tip: * never * overwrite your originals)

To ensure that images in both portrait and
landscape orientation are resized to the
    same dimensions... go to... Advanced...
and enter the largest number in these two areas.
IOW... for 600 x 800... Enter 800 in these two areas.

    IrfanView...

It gets a bit more complicated than the PowerToy
But yes, IrfanView can resize a batch of images.

In Irfanview... go... File / Batch Conversion...

Navigate to the appropriate folder and then select the
    you want to resize images...

Click on the button 'Add '.

If you want to resize all the images in the folder...
Just click the button "add all".

    Now... "Batch converting" checked...
Check... Using the Advanced Options and
    Click on the "Advanced..." button

    Check the field "resize".

Enter the new size. If... for example... you
want to 640 by 480... Enter as many
in these two areas and be sure that "Preserve."
Aspect Ratio' is checked. This way the
    many apply to the shorter
dimension and your image format will be
    preserved.

When increasing the pixel dimensions, audit
the box... "Resample" can lead to
    in a better image quality.

    Click on... Ok...

    Choose a "Output Format".

Choose a folder to save the new files in...

Click on the button 'start '.

    Hello

Because you say that what you've done, but not how you did, my suggestions are limited to...

    • Cancel any changes that do
    • If you remember what was the modified parameters: do a system restore to a point in time before things went wrong. Start - All Programs-Accessories-tools system restore. Choose an appropriate date and time and set the course of restoration. Be patient, it may take several minutes.

  • Cannot change the size of icons on the screen

Original title: change the size of the icons?

I had a 256 x 256 icons (+ a few small icons 128 x 128). They are partially transparent. I have an external hard drive connected to my computer. It contains several folders and I gave some of the folders of custom icons. However, I can put is more properly custom folders icons. Although the files are 256 x 256 (I tried many programs and converters and windows says they are 256 x 256) the size of the icons on the screen is small and there is a gray lines around the area.

If I hold down the Ctrl key and use the mouse wheel, they get smaller and then back to their maximum size, but not as large as I want. The old icons/folders are set correctly.

I just installed a new Windows 7 but I don't know how to change the size and quality of the text on the screen.  I tried all the things normal, resolution, size of icons, dpi etc but nothing gives me what I want.  The text in clear 'wonderful' thing is just terrible.  When I go through the 4 steps I see no text boxes which make the text nothing better.  All options are terrible, so the result on screen is too terrible.  When I do any huge I do not get a full screen of things - view the Start button disappears or I did not closing small cross at the top - of the suggestions to inprove the situation?  I must mention that my screen/monitor is 2006 - I need to buy a new one?  How much is this Windows 7 is going to cost me, or maybe I should go back to XP!

I sincerely thank all you smart "technicians" for all the answers you always gave myself and all others who ask questions.  I'm not too smart with all this new technology as I fell into it very late.  I am now in my 60s and only started using a pc when I was over 50 years so...  In any case, I asked a question about the size of screen resolution and text and received much good advice from all that you guys.  I had recently changed in XP to Windows 7.  However, the bit of advice that I was given in 'Cyberking' here at the Portugal had set the resolution of the screen, the advanced settings, 75 to 60 Hertz Monitor tab.  Very basic, and the first question asked the technician (Lady) was "what size is your screen?  Naturally as a smaller screen that any 'techno' would be considered dead aid, solving the problem was simple and straightforward without me having to stretch my knowledge and my skills by downloading all programes weird (to me) or do the funny stuff in the bios or something else.  I send this comment to you for you to realize that the simple solution is not always bad and maybe we should go for the easiest first and then work up to the more difficult ones.

Just for you all to see - now my screen resolution is perfect, the text on the screen is clear and legible without difficulty, even though the size of text and icon is small.  Clarity is all!
