Why should I activate my animated theme whenever I start firefox?
I downloaded and installed several whitening themes animated from your site and these use to work in a previous version of Firefox. Now, the only way they animate is by disabling and then re-enabling them but when I close Firefox, I do the same thing again for animation works. Everything is up-to-date and I followed all the steps of disabling and running SafeMode etc but it makes no difference... Same question. I deleted Firefox, restored Firefox, Firefox, low update date of the Firefox, but automatic system to later automatically updates and themes are back once again does not work.
Sorry... I was just too impulsive. (Maybe because it is 04:00 in Taiwan, and I've always tried to solve the problem = =)
To install the add-on "Personas Shuffler" can solve the problem for me, I don't think it was the BEST solution.
Tonight, I read why the add-on "Personas Shuffler" was made and concluded that the BEST solution is:
1. open a new tab and type "about: config" in the URL bar, and then search for "lightweightthemes" with the filter.
2. change the values of "lightweightThemes.persisted.footerURL" and "lightweightThemes.persisted.headerURL" from true to false (by double-clicking on it).
3. after that, restart Firefox and you will see that it works! You don't have to install an add-on.

Why should I Resize Windows Media Player, whenever I open it?
Why should I Resize Windows Media Player, whenever I open it?
First of all, I apologize because clearly, nobody else here knows what you're feeling :)
The problem is in fact a function: If you open a file (such as a video) directly, WMP opens directly to the ' Now Playing ' screen to display the video (the video can not be displayed in library mode where it lists all the files). It is locked, you cannot change this behavior (because I'm sure you would agree, everyone would complain if they could not see a video playing every time they played, of course!)
But what you can do, there's WMP to always be the size you want!
(1) play a video in WMP.
(2) while the video plays, click anywhere in the video and uncheck the option 'Fit Player to video'.WMP will attempt is no longer to adjust its size whenever a video is played.
If this was helpful, please vote. If it solves the problem, please click on propose as answer. Thank you!

If the home page button works fine, but your shortcut on the desktop to send you to the wrong page, the shortcut can be hacked.
Right click on the shortcut icon > properties > Shortcut tab
For Windows XP (default location), the goal should be either not less that what follows. If there are extra things, empty:
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
If that checks well, hmm, I wonder if you could have a hidden extension? Extensions are unable to hide mode without failure of Firefox.
You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:
- button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
- Help menu > restart with disabled modules
Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still works
After stops in Firefox, a small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not reset).
Any difference? Also, you can visit the page modules. Either:
- CTRL + SHIFT + a
- "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then see if something new appears at the time where you posted from your list:

tabs disappear whenever I start Firefox 19
I normally Firefox put in place to have 5 tabs pinned and 2 or 3 tabs recorded since the previous session of Firefox. Since I have updated to version 19 FF, I lose 1 pinned tab whenever FF is started. I tried the fixes suggested on the issue of corruption of sessionstore.js file, checked to make sure that Firefox 'Will Remember history' is selected, the file used > Exit to leave FF. Whenever I start Firefox, it will miss a pinned tab (not all, just one). I started with 5 and I can go out, and then launch FF and only 4 pinned tabs are open. Repeat and only 3 are open, etc. If I have a normal tab open when I go out, it is saved & opens the next time FF starts, it seems open tabs is saved, but pinned tabs are closed. In addition, it is always the second pinned tab which is lost (counting from left to right). When there is only one tab left, pinned next time I restart FF, a normal tab is closed. Every time you start after that will close another normal tab until one pinned tab is on the left (the left most pinned tab). I have not tried to restart FF with only the one pinned tab, but essentially is that I lose 1 tablet recorded each time I have quit and restart and seq. anyone else see this behavior or have any suggestions to fix?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

Alternatively, you can check for problems with the cleaning and security software.
Try to start the computer in safe mode Windows with network support (on the startup screen, press F8) as a test to see if that helps. -

Hi STALMIKI,
You should look at this article on this specific issue and Preferences not savedarticle. It should give you all the information you need!
If this does not work:
- Enter about: config in the address bar
- Click I'll be careful, I promise you if prompted
- In the filter field, type Startup
- Double click on startup.homepage_override_url
- Delete the text string, and then click OK
- Close Firefox and reopen the window to check that it worked.
Hope this helps!

All my plugins are up to date.Type of topic: config in the URL bar and press ENTER.
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access this page.Pref = plugins.update.notifyUser if it shows as true, double-click this pref to toggle it false
