  The last update for Firefox has created a problem with the tabs. The tabs now have multiple images of the websites favicon projection. When I open a tab and visit a Web site, when the favicon shows then it creates multiple images of this favicon. When I click the tab and then back on it, they disappear, but obviously, this should not happen and did not begin until the last update has been installed. I even did an update and it does not solve the problem. I tried to upload an image, but the region has just a spinning wheel and the size of the image was only 5,41 kb. Apparently that doesn't work so well either. It seems that Mozilla Firefox has created a few bugs for its browser and help forum.

  You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

  You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

  It looks like a tab/new window preference may have changed as well. Most of the problems like this are resolved by resetting firefox if it does not add the question: go about: support to see the reset button.

  Whenever I did a right click on a link in Firefox and select "Open Link in New Window", the new window that opens with TWO tabs: a tab containing the target for the clicked link, another 'New tab' tab that contains icons for sites I don't want and don't care. Even more embarrassing, the 'New tab' tab is the tab, which is active/selected when the new window appears, rather than the tab for the link, I clicked.

  It's very annoying and highly undesirable behavior. When you click on a link and choose "Open Link in New Window", we should get a new window that contains ONLY the information that is displayed for the target of the link. We shouldn't receive TWO tabs.

  How can I get rid of this behavior? I looked for a solution via Google but have not found one.

• Why the tabs will erase (I can see my desktop through them) and shut up, minimum and symbols of output endangered with the new update?

  The tabs at the top, for different pages, are / stblk. I can see my office through them, and the symbols on the right, to close, reduce/expand and X'ing, are gone/invisible. I can always click on the tabs/stblk most of the time, but I can't close it, adjust or get out completely out of it (close all open tabs at the same time). If I want to completely leave Mozilla, as to restart, I have to Ctrl/alt/del and stop the program. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've never had this problem before.   This is an expected behavior of the Panel tabs. When you add a master page tabs Panel by default, one of the tabs is active. So every time you loaded the page, any tab that you had selected in the master page always will be active as well as the other tab that you used as a link.

  I suggest you use a Menu widget or widget from composition to avoid this.

  The blog of the developers who worked on it, said that it is a corruption of the video buffer that it animates to the effect of 'fade away' of the menu item.  This could explain why it happens more so a program that already if interface with the video driver broke down.

  If the latest drivers for your video card don't solve it, you can mitigate it by disabling the animation (so the menu just hard disappears instead of disappear, so nothing gets stuck in the buffer of acceleration).  You could also disable hardware acceleration graphics, but which would be a big performance hit.
