  You can disable the mosaic preview.
  Open Internet Explorer.
  Go to tools and scroll down to Internet Options.
  On the general tab, go to the Section tabs.
  Click on the settings button.
  Uncheck the 'enable quick tabs '.
  Restart Internet Explorer.

  I just installed Win 8.1 pro on a new pc. I have difficulties to access the internet with a browser and activate Windows. I connected via LAN to a switch that another PC with Windows 8.1 is also linked and this pc works fine with good bandwidth.

  The PC with a problem was IE and chrome installed. In both browsers, I can open the site www.google.com and www.facebook.com. Another site, I tried does not open and I get the error that the site cannot be opened (for example, www.speedtest,net. When I click the diagnose, I get the result found no error.

  I can access network resources in the home such as file shares. I see that the router find the PC and gave it a unique IP address. It lists also under the name I gave the machine during the installation of the operating system.  I can ping other devices in the House as well.

  Now I'm not sure how to continue to fix these errors. Any suggestions?

  Every now and then you see a Web site behave in a bizarre and inexplicable way. In the case of usbank.com, it serves pages normally when your browser identifies itself as Firefox 18, but if she identifies as Firefox 19, it does not load.

  Fortunately, there is a hack for this.

  (1) select and copy the preferably following the Clipboard name (it is not supposed to be a link, the forum software it):

  general.useragent.override.usbank.com

  1. What is your default browser?

  2. were you able to download photos before without any problem?

  3. where are the photos?

  4. you receive messages or error codes when you try to access all photos?

  Method 1:

  Disable or rather uninstall your antivirus and other security software installed and try to import. If this helps you to navigate to the desired folder and get the photos uploaded, this would indicate that the setting of firewall/antivirus blocking you to exert the action. You may need to configure some settings in the software to allow the same.

  Note: The computer without antivirus software or firewall is a potential threat to the computer; Be sure to activate security software after completing the troubleshooting steps and after identifying the problem.

  Method 2:

  You can try to disable add ons and check if it helps:

  Step 1:

  Run Internet explorer with no Add - ons. Steps to open Internet with no mode of modules:

  a. click on start

  (b) in the search box, type in Internet explore

  c. Select Internet (no add-on mode)

  If you were able to access the Web site without any problems, then the module may cause the error.

  Step 2: Measures to determine which add-on may be the cause of the error

  a. open Internet explorer.

  b. click on tools, click on Manage Add-ons, and then click Enable or disable add-ons

  c. in the list view, click Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer to display all add-ons.

  d. click on the Add-ons that you want to activate, and then select Enable.

  e. Repeat steps above for each module that you want to activate.
