Why there is no sound on the 'original media'?

Try to understand this mystery: when inside the CAF, if I move the cursor on a clip, it plays properly.  But if I right click and "reveal in Finder" then try playing this clip (same), in Quick time, he plays without sound!... What's wrong?

Not too practical, because I want to use these same clips in other programs (not only FCP...)

Is it a setting I could have put somewhere? Just can not know...

Thank you

Rob

Please give the complete media specifications as it appears in the QuickTime inspector window.

Hello! I wonder why there are four drives in the Fable: The Lost Chapters pack but we can only use the first to play?

My guess would be that the other 3 drives are required for installation, because they contain the installation files, but actually the game startup files are only on the 1st disk.

  • Is there a reason to save the original NEF files after import for the LR in the form of files 'convert to DNG?  Is there a reason to save the two versions?  The NAVE seems to have no further use other than too much hard drive space.

Is there a reason to save the original NEF files after import for the LR in the form of files 'convert to DNG?  Why save versions when the DNG is the original and the NAVE seems to just take remote hard drive space?

I see no reason to keep them, they take a lot of space, one of the reasons to convert to DNG is that they are almost 20% smaller than the ships.

  • Audio playback but there is no sound in the timeline.

Audio playback but there is no sound in the timeline. I imported an XML from final cut PRO 7.0.3. For the most part all right, but I've encountered a weird problem. There are some audio coming, but who should not be there. I went through each track and even deleted all the sound elements of the time line. But he continues to play the audio. I tried to make, close everything down and exporting section too and it's still there.

Hi Rio, thanks for taking the time to answer this dilemma. Clean the media Cache did not work.

    Maybe I could... wait.

Yes. Copied and pasted the timeline in a new sequence. So far so good. Audio seems to play correctly.

    Thanks again.

  • Why Adobe first Pro is changing the original images/assets (for example, mov) files? (CS6)

    Background:

    1. A colleague gave me a large .mov 33 GB for use in a project, I put this file on a backup disk.
    2. I did a copy identical .mov 33 GB file and placed in a folder that I use for work on a project in Premiere Pro.
    3. I ran Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and dragged through the 33 GB .mov file in the sequence (imported)
    4. Premiere Pro CS6 in line started in the file.
    5. After what he had done, I noticed that its modification Date was just now, that is to say different to the modified Date on the copy of the original file during the backup drive (see step 1)
    6. I ran a check for BeyondCompare between the file .mov on the backup of the drive (see step 1), which the project Premiere Pro used (step 2, 3) and Beyond Compare reported that they were different.

I thought at first it was corruption in independent files, but I checked several times and got the same result, then it is certainly Premiere Pro deliberately editing the file.

So I am confused: these are supposed to be the same file.

Why is there need of Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the images?

    What does the file?

Wouldn't be better to create a separate file if necessary?

I can accept that if this is how it works and it is good to know that it was the first Pro deliberately edit the files and not of corruption (so my equipment had to be healthy). But it makes more sense to me if Premiere Pro is separate copies modified for its own use. Editing the file that it annoys my process to ensure the integrity of backups; If the original active film files were the same that the copies, then it would be easy to know that backups are OK.

    Thoughts?

Definitive answer (I think): it's this definition, "Write XMP IDS to files on import" - that confirms that Adobe Premiere Pro is deliberately editing the .mov file: 935347 B http://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/preferences.html#WSE3BD4A43-7022-4fe6-97F5-95313

These positions provide general information as to why have enabled would be beneficial: the advantage is to be able to skip compliant files by matching to the original file using the embedded XMP tag: -.

  • Why Firefox 5 will not see the Windows Media Player Plugin?

    Hello useful Mozilla expert,

When I click on a link to play a standard WMV video in Firefox 5, in the movie player window it is said 'Click here to download the'.

When I click on 'Click here to download the plugin' in Firefox 5, I get a panel of Firefox that says I need to Windows Media Player 11, but I already Windows Media Player 12 and the browser Firefox WMP plugin installed on this computer... it worked fine in Firefox 3.6.

If I then click to install the Windows Media Player 11 plugin, it goes to another Firefox sign that says: ' no plug-ins have been installed, Windows Media Player 11 - no available '. Then, there is a "manual install" button, and when I click, it takes me to a third party plugin site called 'InteroperabilityBridges.com' which has a plugin Firefox WMP dated April 2007 available.

Here is the link he gives... http://www.interoperabilitybridges.com/Windows-Media-Player-Firefox-plugin-download

When I check my Panel "programs and features" in Windows 7 on my control panel, I can see that I have already installed something called, "Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin" installed and it is dated 10/24/2010 and it is version 1.0.0.8

Despite having already the required plugin installed and showing in my control panel, programs and features, this WMP plugin does not appear on my plugins Firefox 5 Panel. So I tried to re - install with the installer of origin and available to the above URL Setup (they seem to be the same, except my installer of origin has a date of 2010).

I also tried the 'fix' option in the setup of the plugin... it still does not appear in Firefox 5, nor this browser will play a WMV file in the integrated test related troubleshooting page plugin Mozilla WMP player, or other pages that embedded the WMV players.

So the question is, why is Firefox 5 demanding I install a Windows Media Player plug-in older, version 1.0.0.8 of 2007 when I have already installed...? and why it won't work?

I went through all the troubleshooting information in Mozilla and go to the page dedicated to this subject and nothing works...

    http://blogs.technet.com/b/Port25/archive/2007/04/16/Windows-Media-Player-plug-in-for-Firefox.aspx

What is the solution? The upgrade again for the 3rd time in the last 2 months, this is not an option... I'm tired of going through all the difficult steps of the upgrade and find what has changed and rejected another upgrade of the browser Mozilla and re - install plugins, extensions, modules and customizations and repair everything that does not work, as I always do now with Firefox 5.

It seems that as soon as I get most things squared away in a new browser from Mozilla, then they came out with three new releases, so when I'm still struggling with the FF5 version (as I am now) there will be version 9 I get annoying constant 'reminders' upgrade to.

    Thank you

  • No sound for the TV Media

I have Windows XP Media Edition.  I have problems with the sound of the TV.  I don't have trouble with any other sound of media (DVD, etc.), just the TV.  He used to be an occasional problem that I would like to just reboot to solve.  Now there is no sound even with the restart of WIndows.  Any ideas on how to fix?

If a single Live TV has no audio, can be the TV Tuner driver problem, make sure that the most recent driver is installed for the TV Tuner card and sound. Visit the websites of the manufacturers to download and install the drivers.

    Hello

Were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?

Sound problems can be caused by cables that are not connected properly, damaged drivers, incompatible drivers, sound settings, missing updates and problems with your sound card.

Perform the steps from the link below and see if the sound is restored to the computer.
