  Don t think you will receive a response from Toshiba directly because it is a user forum.

  Is your P200D equipped the CPU of the AMP?
  If yes then I guess that XP drivers will not at this time.
  A few weeks ago I talked to an authorized provider in my country and he said that XP drivers are not available for AMD machines

  It seems that you should look for the XP drivers on chip manufacturer s Web site.
  I have an A210 laptop with an AMD processor and I didn t find XP drivers for my laptop. But I ve installed XP and it runs great.

  I've found only XP drivers in another Satellite to categorize. Some unique drivers works.
  I recommend to do the same thing.

  Hello everyone im happy old owner of 2 hour nine Toshiba Satellite P200D 106 with the configuration put fallow:

  Mobile AMD Turion 64 X 2
  Processor model: TL-52
  FSB (MHz): 800
  RAM: 512 + 512 MB Type: DDR2 at 667 MHz

  Now since I have vista on it I want to upgade 2 GB or 1 GB Ram is too little and I need recommendation on what type or Ram would be compatible with this config

  I daissa a lot have to choose between set-aside:

  A - DATA 1 GB DDR2, 667 MHz PC5300 SODIMM
  Kingston ValueRAM 1 GB PC5300 SODIMM
  Kingston 1 GB SODIMM DDR2-533 ValueRam PC4300 CL4 SODIMM
  Geil SODIMM 1 GB DDR2, 667 MHz, retail

  One of them is completely compatible with this laptop and don't give me any problems I mention that the RAM came with the laptop will be taken

  PS: Also another question im thinking also buy a Toshiba back pack for my laptop to know that a PX1309E-1NCA

  Does anyone have any ideas if this laptop 17 fit in this backpack without being scratched?
  I mention this im intending to put the power in the front pocket.

  I recommend get you the 2 GB RAM module with the PA3513U part number. Use this module with 512 MB, you already have and with 2.5 GB laptop should work very well.
  Kingston modules are very good and it's really high-quality product. If you can't find compatible on Kingston page you can order. But as I've written before of maybe you should buy 2 GB and have better performance.

  Compare prices and do what you have to buy the decision.

  What about bag backpack? Check the specs and if it is designed for 17 laptops you can buy it. Sorry, but for me this issue is enough... excessive. :)

  I just bought a * Satellite P200D - 11L (AMD Turion 64 X 2 TL-60, 2 x 1 GB RAM, 200 GB HDD, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600, 17 '', DVD Multi *). The machine came with preinstalled operating system (* Vista Home Premium 32 bit *).

  I had a look on the DVD of recovery, but it does not all drivers. I tried to find & download the drivers for this model, but all that is available on the Toshiba site is upgrading the BIOS.

  Does anyone know where to find the rest of the drivers?

  To my knowledge, this laptop is very new on the market and it seems that the drivers for this series are not released.

  Looks like we have to wait a bit.
  But I m sure that pilots will be published in the next time!

  Now I have a black screen with a cursor white arrow on it.

  This means that you have created two DVD-R virgins for the installation of recovery?
  Please, start your laptop and press F12 repeatedly. When the boot menu appears put the first recovery DVD in the optical disc drive in the menu, choose the CD/DVD and start the installation with the button ENTER.

  You can also try to start installation of recovery image stored on the HARD drive.

  If you didn't change anything about this either on the second partition of HARD drive, try it please follow:
  Start your laptop and press F8 immediately several times to enter Advanced Startup Options. If everything is OK the first option, to fix my computer. If this option is available, please choose and run with the button ENTER.

  Then simply follow the menu on the screen and you will enter in the System Recovery Options. The last option should be Toshiba Recovery option. Please use this option to start the recovery image installation.
  As I've written before, this should work if you didn't change the default settings.

  There are ImportExportTools which is an add-on and a good help with other problems of import/export. I use it and every 3 days, after that I closed Tbird, suggested to make a partial backup.
