  Any reason, why Microsoft did not do their file Explorer, tab so that the user had the possibility to combine all different instantiations of an Explorer of files in a single window frame?

  I'm a software engineer and often open several Windows File Explorer at the same time, but I would like to be able to switch between them by using a single image.

  Notepad ++ and other applications provide a unique setting and a group several instantiations of their panels to Publisher in a unique setting.

  In addition, it would be cool if you could name the tabs or take some sort of default as the path of the directory in view.

  However, there are some 3rd party apps that claim to add tabs to Explorer as - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/28997/add-tabbed-browsing-to-explorer-in-windows-7/ , and there are probably others. NOTE: Ive not tried these so can't say how good or bad, they really are.

  It could well be malware, which may not be stored by one program traditional antivirus. Try these two scanners that are designed to catch malware and spyware:

• How to save a file under a different name without losing the original file

  Each year, I kept records of donation for our local community garden.  When I was with numbers on OS 10.6, I could go to file > save as > then enter the new name.  Do it this way, I could keep the original file and also have a new file.  The original file will not lose its data.

  But now, when I go to file all I see is to save or rename.  Let me give you an example:

  In 2015, when the amounts of donations would start coming to me, I opened the file from 2014 and pulled all amounts.  I replaced the title of donations to the Food Bank in 2014 with the 2015 food bank donations.  I would like to go to file and select Save as and type the new name for the file.  Is there something I'm missing that I cannot save under?

  Hold down the Alt/Option key while clicking on 'File' in the menu bar. This will give you the Save as option.

  I'm kinda new to LabView, so perhaps this question is trivial, but gives me a lot of pain.

  I want to permanently save a string given at two different rates; in the example provided these rates are every 500 ms and ms 50, in two different (one for each rate) text files. I tried to use while loops structured for this purpose. When I use one, it works fine, but when I use both at the same time, it seems that Labview limited both paths at the lowest speed, which in this case is obviously 500ms, and eventually get two accurate files with the string saved to 500 ms period.

  How can I make it work?

  Your loops the two stops after one iteration. Maybe you should keep them until you want to stop the running program. Add a stop appropriate to each condition.

  (Looks like you are using "continuous operation" where the program begins again once the code is complete. Do not! It's just a debugging tool. Use the ordinary execution.)

  Assuming that you all have a format and want to just open all the files and save them under a different format, without changing anything...

  A way, using Photoshop and measures and automation, would be to define an action that was simply a file - open and file - record under in a separate file.

  To set an action, in the ACTIONS Panel, create a new set and a new action, and then just save the steps on an existing file. Once this is done, click on the stop button.

  Once this simple action was defined, allows file - Automate - lot... configured to perform the action on the totality of a folder full of files.

  You probably want to use the options [] Override Action "Open" Commands and [of] Override Action "Save as" commands .  This option allows you to do things like specify the JPEG save quality in action and will not be prompted to do it every time.

  Your batch processing dialog box may look like this:

• Why my comment tags do not disappear when I re - save a file in windows Explorer

  In the details pane, I "name / size / Type / modified Date / comments" after saving a file, I click with the right button on the file, go to properties, then summarized and type a note in the comments area.  Apply, OK.  The tag appears in the comments column.  If I come back in the file and save it again, the label disappears from the comments column.  Is it possible to prevent that from happening?  What is a comment if it is not there?

  Here, much depends on the application [no name] which is save the file again.  The comment is associated with the entry in the directory file.  When you 'save' a file, there are different ways, this can be accomplished by the application.  One way is to delete the current file and then save the contents to a new file with the same name.  In this case, the comments will be deleted and the original file and a 'new' file will have no comment.  Another way is to open the current file and write the file since the beginning too much.  In this case, the comment may be retained.  So it depends on the method used by the hosting program that saves the file.

  I save a lot of files in many different places. I am looking for a solution that quickly allows me to choose the right folder. Something like Q - Dir, with tabs and others. 'Favorites' in Windows Explorer doesn't do it for me. Is it possible to change the behavior of the FFs?

  I regret that there is no option to save a file with a different name after the change. However, there is a workaround that you can try.

  • Select the file you need to make changes.
  • Create a duplicate file and then rename it.
  • Now, you can make changes to in the file duplicate.

  At work our files are saved to a single server. I can work on it fine and save them and have never any problems, however my colleague will open the files and modify them and when she tried to save gives an error message saying that she must save the file with a different name because it doesn't have permission to save the file. How can we prevent this if us does not clutter up our system with the duty to name the same file several different names depending on who works there.

  But this could be done by using the function of trust

  create your form as usual

  then create a further subform and getting in to a record in the box (just add a textfield and little text and a button)

  have the save button on the form simply call the saveas subform

  Obvisously properly the objectives and the backup directory

  then save this file as name then place you like .js for example (saveas.js) this file in the c:\program files\adobe\acrobat\javascripts or similar, but with the player if you use adobe reader software.

  If you intend to use this file in the drive then you will need to activate features extended drive on the file using Adobe Acrobat.

  OK above is only available where you can load the .js file in the correct directory.

  I use it by creating a simple installation file that has placed the .js file in the right directory and Ontario form right end users computer.

  It may or may not work for you.

  You really need 2 BPEL process as you said. I have not tried, but BSE may be able to have 2 adapters incoming to map it to a BPEL process.

  Dynamic routing is more outgoing, not falling.
