Why won't my iPhone rings constantly on incoming calls?

More often than otherwise, I noticed that my new IS does NOT sound to each incoming call.  I checked so to double these zones in areas where it is likely that I made a bad choice, but nothing jumps as a wandering parameter.  What bothers me is that he sounds sometimes, and no, I did have no link with the locale from the calls, etc.

I read that is not specific only to THEMSELVES, and various suggestions for various other models did me not any good at all.

I am confused and appreciate a fix or point me to a URL where he could be found.

Thanks in advance.

The culprit that comes first to mind is do not disturb. Ensure that your settings are under settings > do not disturb.

Why won't my iPhone 5s 9.3.5 update of the new iOS10?

    Hello Kevin Bouah,
Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand your message that you were not able to update your iPhone to iOS 10 5s. I know how exciting it is when a new version of the iPhone software will be released. If you tried to update your iPhone via Wi - Fi under settings > general > Software Update and cannot update your iPhone, I recommend that you use iTunes on a computer. Make sure that your computer software and iTunes are updated to the latest versions. The following steps will help you to upgrade your software to the iPhone via iTunes on your computer:

Update the software on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch iOS

    Update your device via iTunes

If you are unable to update wireless on your iOS device, you can manually update using iTunes on a computer on which you trust. If your computer uses Personal Hotspot on the iOS device that you update, connect your computer to another Wi - Fi or Ethernet network before update you.

    1. Install the latest version of iTunes on your computer.
    2. Connect your device to your computer.
    3. Open iTunes, Select your device.
    4. Click summary, and then click Find updates.
    5. Click on download and update.
    6. If requested, enter your access code.

  • BlackBerry Q5 can I put the phone both vibrate and ring for an incoming call?

I put the phone both vibrate and ring for an incoming call?

    Yes, you can.

On your home screen, slide to the bottom of the top, and then select settings > Notifications > Applications > phone. You can then set to vibrate while sounding, and you can select which ringtone you want to use.

In another of your discussions, you asked how to set a ringtone for a specific contact. What I have described here will set the default ringtone for all callers, but those that you set up with the specific notifications.

    See you soon.

  • BlackBerry classic classic My Blackberry does not ring on incoming calls

    Dear Blackberry classic users,

My phone was working just fine yesterday. Until then, it stopped ringing for incoming calls.

I used the medium profile, the strange thing is that, on this profile, the phone warns me on whatsapp messages, text messages, but not sounds on incoming calls.

Then I activated the normal profile and surprisingly he trained the same ringing sound on incoming calls.

Can someone help me with this problem because I use this phone for my office work and not perfom my tasks with this minor problem.

Restart the device by holding the power button for about 10 seconds, through the countdown through the logo, through the Red led and until the logo appears again.

  • iPhone 5 s no ring or vibrate for calls after update IOS 10

I have a 5 s iPhone that worked perfectly for over 2 years until I've done 10 IOS updated.  Now it won't ring or vibrate for incoming calls.  It will give sound advice for all applications, but not the phone.  I checked the switch on the side, the sound settings, the mute under accessibility, do not disturb and alert by phone settings.  Everything is as it should be to have audibles.  This phone was in a box of Otter for protection since I got it.  Any ideas of what anything else I could do to fix this?  Miss me him each call unless I happen to look at the screen.

Have you tried to change the ringtone in the sounds? Try using set a different ringtone temporarily. In addition, with the phone unlocked, press the volume buttons on the side and see what shows on the home screen. You see the volume and it does not show ring or something else? You use a custom or purchased ringtone, or a ringtone native iOS? Some people have reported problems of ringtone on various devices when you try to use the House or purchased made ringtones.

    Hi Jamescdavis6,

If your iPhone is not sounds to warn you of an incoming call, and you have checked to make sure the ring/silent switch is set to ring, try the following steps:

    • Check your settings do not disturb - if this setting has been enabled, then you will not be interrupted by phone calls.  You have to turn if off.

Use of do not disturb on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    • Check the speaker of your iPhone / material:

If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch speaker

If you hear no sound from speaker, contact Apple technical support.

    • Check if your iPhone is stuck in headset mode

If your headset does not work with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    • You unplug your headphones, but when you adjust the volume on your iOS device, you still see an indicator of volume of the headphone.
