  I tried your suggestion and it did not work to retrieve the pointer of the mouse, BUT I don't have a partial solution. I bought a MCE remote and it allows me to control MCE well without the mouse. However, the downside is that I can't run other applications using the computer screen (the other view runs MCE) since I have no control of the mouse. Maybe you could help me out here. If I could remap a key on the remote control to switch in MCE mode while I run an app as I have everything that I need. Is there a key combination that will increase MCE from full screen to windowed mode?

  However, you must put in a bug report as I see quite a few others see mouse problems MCE running in mode full screen display.

  I signed up for a demo of Muse and I must say that I am very impressed. After using Dreamweaver in the past in school, often get bogged down in the code, Muse is a designers dream.   I want several images to fit the entire screen on a specific section of my Muse site, just below the navigation bar. I noticed the best way to do this is to create a slideshow full screen. With this option I can add one or more images fade in and out - communicate various messages and points of sale. By default, as the widget options are defined in the charging framework, which extends from my image to completely fill the browser. Unfortunately with this selected the image loses some quality and seems to zoom in, getting cropped in the process. When you change the settings to adjust the content proportionally everything looks great. The chart is smack bang under my sailing as I desire however there is also a horrible gray area each side because the graph is now its original size. Grey on each side seems to be the background color of the slideshow, but I can't find a way to change this - from grey to black.   Hi David

  It would be a bit complicated if you must use a fullscreen, accordion and tooltip, or any other publication inside Accordion widget or you can use different pages to render a similar effect.

  Thus, for example

  -Insert the widget in full screen

  -Insert the Accordion with the width of the page (use the same image that is used for full screen)

  -Insert a ToolTip when the trigger would be half the size of target container and the installation program on the click of the mouse action (you set the trigger and target in the layers panel)

  Sorry, but that would be a workaround, I know a little long.

  Or you can create separate pages where you can use the widget in full screen for different pages using the same images.

  I was trying to stop some HP programs to start when I start my desktop computer. I did the following: start > run > msconfig.  Click on startup and unchecked HP four applications. Restarted my desktop computer and immediately had a black screen with the following message:

  I can't do anything in Safe Mode or one of the other options. Cannot re - install Windows XP Home Edition because Windows or Internet Explorer 8 will not run. Only the black screen and the message mentioned above.

  In fact, there is something else you may need to do: it turns out that KB2607712 is replaced by the KB2616676 in Vista & Win7; Windows XP needs to have both installed [despite the mention you referred in your post on September 14, above] !!!

  => So if Update for Windows XP (KB2607712) is NOT listed in Add/Remove Programs, you will need to manually download/install a revised version [long story, involved - you don't want to know]:

  ACTIONS:

  1. open Internet Explorer to http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=27244 & click on the button CONTINUE.

  2. after VALIDATION, download the installer for KB2607712 & save it to your desktop - NOT run again!

  3. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

  4. double-click on the file that you saved in #2 above to install the update. Follow all the instructions (reboot required).

  5. check that the Update for Windows XP (KB2607712) is now listed in Add/Remove programs.

  I created an interactive pdf designed for the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, set to open full screen mode. Recently, I think I did something for the preferences settings and now whenever I open the file: (a) I get a warning that it will open in mode full screen (I just want it to open it without the warning); and (b) the toolbar is always right if the presentation is not really in the entire screen.   It's kind of like a dashboard on the right side. The tools that are available are 'tools to fill & sign' (exoanded to: add text, add Checkmark, initial Place, place of Signature). Showing also but not expanded not is 'Send or collect Signatures' and 'Working with certificates.'

  I have been a little more troubleshooting on mine, and now I'm fairly certain that the toolbar appears because the document contains few fields to fill. I removed these items and now the file is opened in mode full screen without the list toolbar.

  You are facing this problem because the footer element shows below the slideshow.

  You must create a new layer in the tab layers.

  Move the items from the footer to the top layer, and you should be all set.

  For this you just have to click on elements of footer and select "Move to the layer" and select the top layer.

• Lack of Menu in full screen with Compiz + VMTools

  When Compiz is enabled and VMTools is installed when I full-screen, the Menu at the top is visible until that resizes the window workstation. When this happens, the Menu at the top is grayed out and I can't see the icons and Menu items. When I remove VMTools I have is no longer a problem of menu but I can't use multiple monitors with Compiz active. When I disabled is more to these questions, which seems to be with VMTools.

  I like to keep active Compiz as it has quite a few practical uses rather than some glitter.

  I am running Workstation 6.5.1 build-126130 on OS host 2.6.27 - 11-server. Guest operating system is WIndows XP.

  Ubuntu 8.10 with a 8600GTS Nvidia using TwinView.

  Using the host for display settings, automatic adjustment is activated.

  For the purposes of the screenshot I had to move my Panel down, but even still, the question remains.

  Any help is appreciated.  Please let me know if I can provide further information.

  Hello. Yes, there is actually some problems that can trigger this result, unfortunately. I was just in this and other similar problems last week.

  First of all, I think that if there is only one this monitor on the system, you will not see it. It's probably not a good answer for you, but, I guess.

  Unfortunately, Compiz does not at all favorable to the old things we try to do to get the fullscreen window managers and then stretch that window full-screen with multiple monitors. Metacity and KWin are, however, an option you have is to use Metacity or KWin until this issue is resolved.

  The good news is that now we have an official indication in the EWMH (_NET_WM_FULLSCREEN_MONITORS) (http://snurl.com/dxbi6) specification, things will be much better in the future. The bad news is that right now, there is really nothing you can do to make things better, if you absolutely have to run your current version of Compiz. New versions of the xfwm4 (2.6.0), (not yet published) Metacity, Compiz and KWin (4.2.1) (0.8) now support the WM_FULLSCREEN_MONITORS NETindicator and react much better with VMware Workstation and player, which might also be interesting to try. KWin (from KDE 4.2.1), in particular, carries most of the pleasure of the eyes that you're used to with Compiz and behaves very well with the position of work/drive. Compiz 0.8 is also much better-well-behaved now, although there is a small regression if you use full-screen mode and you want to change the windows, work/drive continues his manoeuvre itself to your new window position (that is, you will need to exit full screen mode if you want to use another application). But at least you'll be able to see your menus. =;)
