  My organization is moving from 7 to 9 Captivate.  While doing some research on 9 I came across a blur on 9 Captivate in HTML5 based.

  So the question... with Captivate 9, can I still publish as a .swf or is it exclusively HTML5 now?

  I ask because our current LMS does not work with HTML5 published courses.  It is supposed to and they are working on it, but I need to know if we are about to run into a ditch of capabilities, so I can report this problem.

  Captivate 9 can be published to swf or html5 format or both.

  I have 9 Captivate and I use embedded Captivate widgets (not those using assets). I created my project as a project that is sensitive to be able to display in the form of tablets. Captivate told me the widgets are not compatible HTML5. When I publish on my LMS, I can see the widgets and to interact with the course on my laptop via Firefox, but I do not see the widgets in IE 11. Is there a way to get around this, or I must say to my people to download another browser to use my course?

  You need not create a project as a receptive simply to play on tablets or mobile devices.

  If widgets are known to be NOT HTML5 compatible, it is better to not use them at all.  IE11 usually works with the release of HTML5 in Captivate, but your widgets are probably not going to work in this case.

• Publication in HTML5 w / Captivate 9

  My company currently publishes SWF projects, but this fall, we are moving to HTML5 publishing. I am doing some research on what has not supported in HTML5 and found a list of items to Adobe.com (for example, text and SWF animations, transitions between slides, bearings, etc.).

  To test, I set up a quick module. It includes cartoons, buttons text animation (effect of typing), mouse animation, etc. HTML5 Tracker was told that rolling legends, flight path images and rollover slidelets weren't compatible HTML5. However, when I published to HTML5 and considered that it if IE11, almost everything worked, including all transfers. I'm confused, because everything I read points to the fact that the bearings will not work in HTML5, but they seemed to work for me. Am I missing something?

  I want to emphasize that we are not publish responsive projects. Our whole target audience is using desktop computers and by displaying the modules in IE11. I was wondering if there is a bug in the tracker, or if his warnings apply only to projects of a reactive nature?

  What does certainly not are animations of text and SWF animations. For animations of text appears only a static image.   As long as you post mainly for laptop Desk/computer maintain the SWF when possible or publish to multiple screens. The user experience is much more in line with the output SWF. At least as browsers continue to integrate Flash Player. Right now the interactive PDF published by Captivate needs Flash player, as does the EXE format.

  I can be alone in this - but due to my lack of knowledge of what the tip Action 'codes' means (in English), how to use and all necessary for the creation of an 'action', I'm missing out on this powerful feature and so unable to use Captivate to its full potential.

  For example; I need to provide my students with an option to replay the current slide again. There is no option on the playback controls to this (strange is that?) so the solution was to create a button allowing to the learner to return at the beginning of the current slide and have the slide to auto-start from the beginning.

  Lilybiri (as always) was very helpful in pointing me in the direction of a free "Replay Slide' widget in addition to give me the code to create my own button using an 'Advanced '. I'm sorry to inform Lilybiri that I totally failed to make this work and have therefore used the widget.

  For me and others like me who are not experts in working with the code and understand the variables etc., some practical examples of the most frequently used applications including screenshots of the required parameters would be an excellent starting point.

  The manual of Captivate help has a few examples, but it would be really useful if there was some more typical examples of basic actions that novices like me could follow, and therefore begin to understand the concept behind, like create a replay button of the slides - followed instructions with screenshots.

  To give a kick to my aging laptop, I bought a corsair SSD GTX neutron. Unfortunately, after
  many attempts and a support of corsair, it seems that the SSD is not compatible with this TECRA.

  I'm ready to buy a new one, but of course, I want to be 100% sure that the SSD is compatible for now.

  How can I find a list of compatible devices for this laptop?

  To my knowledge there is no no special info about the compatibility of diving SDS.
  In some cases, manufacturers of SSDS provides a drive SSD firmware updates and sometimes this update helps resolve some problems.

  Unfortunately, I couldn't find any other compatible battery so I highly recommend you to use the original battery.

  What you can possibly check is compatible batteries for C650D:

  PA3817U-1BRS
  PA3818U-1BRS
  PA3820U-1BRS

  Google around a bit and see if you can use them with your C650. At least, you can contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. They can help you with this.

  20 volts DC seems to be perfectly acceptable for a requirement of 19 V DC,

  a power higher than stated is even best for example, 120 w.

  Please make sure that the replacement DC adapter plug has the right size and polarity!
