Widows 7

I chose an earlier date in December for my PC settings back. Now my PC looks like its in mode safe and all the fonts & everything is twice the size, and only about half of my screen is used. Microsoft wanted to $99, but I am on disability and my injury of the spine causes chronic pain. It's not even an option to spend this kind of money I don't have anyway. can someone help me please. This computer is my only escape.   Ron

Hello

Please contact Microsoft Community.

I want to tell you that choose previous date will not help to return to the settings of your laptop.

I suggest you to check if the Date and time is correct. If not, please refer to:

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-my/Windows/set-clock#1TC=Windows-7

If you want to return to the settings of the Pc you can try the system restore:

Please refer to:

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/restore-system-files-and-settings

Please try to adjust the resolution of your screen to see if that solves the problem for you, do a right-click of your desk top and select the screen resolution and then select the drop down tab and select the recommended setting.

Refer to:

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/change-your-screen-resolution

I hope this helps.
