WiFi B210a

Hello

I read a lot of messages about failures in wireless connection, but a new here!

I have a new B210a, Mac computer, Terminal Airport.  The computer and the router are working very well.  When I first set up the new printer it found my wireless network (and those of my neighbors), but he would not accept the password (I checked - it was typed correctly).  Then, after playing for a bit, she accepted the password but would not print.  I took a coffee break.  On my next test, the printer is more noted for networks.  And so he stayed.  I have printed several times the "wireless network Test report" and get "Wireless works: FAIL.  I have tried unplug/restart the printer and restarted the modem, but still no recognition of network.

Is here all is lost?  It feels like a radio failure in the printer.  Is there anything else I can do before I try the telephone help line?

If all goes well...

Looks like a bad radio.  The real test is he sees ALL the networks.  If not, its dead.  I'm sorry.

    Aloha:

I have B210a, all-in-one, which worked fine for months.  It can be hung on my Mac (OS 10.6.8) using USB or wifi.

No reason it just stopped working. I stopped for a long time and pulled the powr Plug and the USB socket.

When I came back, I started from scratc and you have the printer online.  Everything seemed normal, but it wouldn't print.

    What would be my problems?

    Thank you

  • Photosmart B210a, CN216A still not connected to my wireless network.

Why won't my printer B210a Photosmart wireless connect to my wireless network?  He continues to disconnect. I continue to run the software installer and he works briefly, then it disconnects again.  Help, please.  I'm not what else to do. I've tried everything.

    Scope of David

Yes, it is very probably the router.  SMC routers are non-standard (as are most of the routers ISP-issued) and does not play well with HP printers and other devices designed to the WIfi Alliance standards.

I recommend you get a modem by your ISP and go buy your own wireless router.  Get a name-brand a Linksys or Netgear and be happy!

  • problem printing wireless all-in-one b210a

I have a printer all-in-one b210a, and a Macbook pro OS X 10.6.8 connected through a router. My wife has a same Macbook that prints successfully wireless. Mine does not work.  The computer seems to recognize the printer, but does not print. When you use the hp utility I get this message,

"Some components installed on your computer have been developed for a different version of the HP utility. These components will not be loaded and some features related to your device won't be available. Please click on HP assistance point in the toolbar to visit the online HP Support site and download the latest versions of the HP software. »

I have re-installed the software using the cd of printer and also HP online. I get the same message. I also cut and restarted power to all components, re-installed the printer a few times. You have any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

If you are using Snow Leopard, Lion or Mountain Lion and have HP software for Snow Leopard before (either from a CD that is not marked as compatible with 10.6-10,8 or you recently upgraded to Snow Leopard, Lion or Mountain Lion and had the software HP on your Mac before you upgrade - even if you made a standard uninstall of the old software or installed new software on top of it) You must uninstall the software by using the "scrubber":

Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
    Click on continue
Highlight your device in the left pane
    Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Cmd keys on the keyboard at the same time as you click on uninstall< this="" is="" the="" scrubber="" option,="" there="" is="" no="" button="" labeled="">
There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
Click on continue and let it finish

    Download and install this: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907

    Restart your Mac.

    Now reset the printing system:

    -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
-Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
-Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  • 2 Air 10 iOS iPad dropping wifi

I have an iPad 2 air in perfect condition, since it first came out. I have the cell phone/Wifi version with Verizon. My problem has been lately, when connected to wifi, the wifi shuts on the iPad many times when using, and more so at rest.

Did somebody encounter this problem since upgrading to iOS 10 It is the only variable that has changed, I'm still using the same networks that I have always used for Wifi.

Follow these steps to find and correct the problem:

    1. you must check your Wi - Fi router: check if other devices can be connected. This will let you know if there is a problem with your Wi - Fi router. You can restart your router and restart the connection to WiFi.

    2. make sure that Wi - Fi on and you can see your network

    3. go to settings on your iPhone > Wi - Fi and check if it is enabled. And if there is a blue check mark next to a network name means that your iPhone or iPad was connected to this network.

    4 restart your iPhone/iPad, router, cable/DSL mode

    5. If this does not help, reset your network. On your iPhone, iPad, got to settings > general > reset > reset network settings. This will reset Wi - Fi networks and passwords, cell parameters and VPN, and APN settings you used before.

    These measures should help.

  • iPhone 7 - 10.0.2 - would not connect to wifi - got hot - DEATH

I have an iphone brand new 7 (black) who has not seen a bump, the knock, the drop of water, or frankly anything that could damage it - always used with Chargers apple and cables only. I came home one day and noticed that my wifi woulndt connect. He would not even see the networks. The phone started to get hot and the battery percentage began to collapse, down 80% to 0% in about 15 minutes.

When I tried to reconnect to the power, it will not even turn on, nothing, no display showing load or anything like that. Just completely dead.

Ive owned every single iphone (except some S models) and have never had this happen. In fact, I could plug in my iphone 3gs right now and I'd be willing to bet $100 it load up and turn right into. Im just stunned, having given apple credit both for making bulletproof devices for years.

What's the deal? anyone else having this problem? Ive looked online and I can't find anything. I have a genius appt tomorrow and Im prayer I can get a replacement same day. I have applecare +.

    Thank you

    George

If there is something wrong with the device, Apple should replace it. However, they have the final call, and no one here can say exactly what they will do. Given the age of the unit, I suspect that you won't have problems getting a replacement. They should have stock for replacements. I wouldn't worry.

  • How can I connect to a wifi network when I get the message 'safety recommendation' when I try to join?

I have problems connecting to the WiFi at the hotel, as I have upgraded to iOS 10. When I try to join, I get a message "safety recommendation", and then it does nothing else. Prior to the update of the iOS, it would open an another Popup screen that lets me enter the password for the hotel but is not past with iOS 10. How do go?

Please read use captives Wi - Fi networks on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support.

You may need to deselect Auto-Join and/or auto-connect on some networks in captivity. Otherwise, it may seem to connect for a second or two, only to disconnect immediately, leaving you without the possibility to open a session.

  • After my wife 5 iphone update ios 10.0.2, ringtone sounds is more when a call comes in.  What should I do?

After the update my wife 5 iPhone and my iPhone 6 ios 10.0.2, we met problems.  His phone will not ring when a call comes in, and my phone does not sound an alert when a message arrives.

    Hi MikeDallos,

I understand that after your wife 5 iPhone update and your iPhone 6 the new iOS, you both know questions in regards the phone doesn't ring do not or may not alert you to the alert notifications when you receive a message. I use my iPhone all the time and I count on the possibility of having my phone alert me for incoming calls and messages. We'll see what we can do.

The first thing I want you to do is to restart the two iPhones. Make sure that your wife's iPhone has the ring/silent switch on mute.

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

Here is an article that goes on measures to be taken for this issue:

If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch speaker

For your iPhone you did not give a warning sound with message notifications, you'll also want to review this article as well:

Use the Notifications on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Please tender back if you still have problems.

    Have a great day.

Now I have regular randomly loose connectivity. My internet is cable and when it is connected I have a 100% connection. My details of iMac and I have used only 10% of my storage.

No problem with my iphone 6.

    Hello AspDesigns,

I understand that, since the upgrade to Mac OS Sierra, your Mac seems to have trouble staying connected to Wi - Fi. Fortunately the diagnosis built-in wireless can help identify the source of so much trouble.

  • IOS 10.0.2 WiFi not connecting

    Hello

This morning, I had a problem with my IPad 4 (MK6J2B/A) and my Iphone 6s (MKQN2B/A).

Both devices unloaded during the night and the charge in the morning, both devices would not connect to my WiFi (BT Home Hub 6) even though they have both been previously connected to my WiFi for weeks. Both have a checkmark beside the connection, but not the WiFi icon in the upper left corner. Safari says not connected to the internet. I tried several thing, like plane, reset BT Hub etc., but both have refused to sign. I did a reset on both devices and the Iphone came back and logged in as normal. However, the Ipad has refused to connect or at least with the WiFi icon.

Surfing on the net and found a large number of people with the same problems. Followed suggestions, as I forgot network password and enter again, reset network etc, but nothing has worked. The only option to reset the whole device and start again. BUT when I tried to remove and delete, of course has been asked to enter my Apple ID to continue. No internet so would not remove.

I have a hotspot Wifi BT close to home then I connected with that and she. This should make me stop and think that it was something inside the House, but once again, SO I continued and deleted the IPad. From the start of my cool Ipad, follow the instructions until it is necessary to connect to the internet. Had even a tick but no icon of Wifi and no internet, so no way to rebuild or restore my Ipad. SCREAMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Out the laptop to rebuild through iTunes, which was obsolete, then click on update and google in the meantime, no problems with the iPad, but with iPad connection to BT Home hub 6. Found a very small post with similar problems and he said to disconnect the hub (WIRED) AppleTV. As soon as I pulled the plug on the AppleTV my iPad connected instantly.

Wow what a waste of two hours of my life. Don't know if it's hub problem AppleTV or BT, or both, but my AppleTV is now to stay on the WiFi connection and NO cable connection in the future.

Hope that my pain will help someone else to solve the same problems.

So thank you for much for this!

I had this thing this morning, 1 iPad a household of 6 different devices does not connect.  My Apple TV has been connected via WIFI, I just turned off of Apple TV - box and connected iPad itself.

This happened only a day after the installation of a HomeHu6...
