WIFI connection disappears when not on the main power

My wireless LAN disappear when my laptop is not connected to the electric network, if it is connected there is no problem being online for hours, but when you pull the plug, five minutes later the network is not available.
What could be the problem?
I have not found a solution in the toshiba (Toshiba Energieverwaltung) power regulator

Hello

I guess that the energy saving mode is activated in the WLan card properties.
If the laptop works with battery only the WLan card tries to save the battery power.
Go in the WLan card properties and select the Advanced tab (if possible)
Disable the power saving mode.
