WIFI ICON

After installing ie8 my icon of WiFi signal strength went from the bottom to the right of the toolbar.  How can I get that back?

Hello

If this icon is part of the use of a 3rd party Wireless Utility, and then read its instructions.

If it's Windows Wireless Utility.

Make sure that the two entries up to the extreme left are checked (Show icon) & Notify.

  • upgrade from Vista to Win7: no color for speaker Icon or WIFI icon on the system tray

After the upgrade to Win7, both the WIFI icon and the "speaker" icon are white without color.  Just annoying for the speaker, but I cannot see the strength of the signal for the wifi icon.

    Hello
This does not solve the problem.  The advice given doesn't turn, and turn off the system icons.  The issue is not that the icons are invisible.  The problem is that the icons are there, but they have no color, as I expect.

Sorry to hear that you are having a problem with BBM.

When you go to www.blackberry.com/bbm on your device browser and go into install BBM, do you have a prompt to replace the same version or install a new one?

    Hello

This does not sound like a problem with Firefox, but more like a problem with Apple hardware you are using.

I recommend contacting a specialist Apple support forum that should be able to help with this question.

  • When I click on onknown icon wifi connections are checked with "connect automatically" why?

the small icon 'wifi' on the taskbar of my laptop has six other House and wifi connections listed. I only know me. When I click the wifi icon, four of the six say "connect automatically". is it safe? Why it will remain unchecked in the box? concerned.

    Hi Lynne,

This option is by design. The option "connect automatically" is always checked for any open network (such as a secure network) so that you do not manually connect (each time) if the laptop comes in the range of open network.

If you do not automatically connect to an open network, then uncheck the option.

If the option is checked, even if you do not want to connect to a network, there is no harm.

If you have concerns, please let us know.

  • WiFi not on the toolbar icon

Need help please, I have problems with wifi on a Palm TX. I don't really know what happened that my wife called me at work but I returned and did a hard reset several times and the wifi icon still not repopulate. There is not yet all options for wifi in the menu Preferences, but there is a spot on the toolbar where it should be fine. Really, I don't know what else to do here, and I just got this for my wife as a Christmas gift. Could someone please help me with this?

If you made a backup of your Palm via Hotsync, I think I'll try to restore via Hotsync where your office overrides your Palm device.

Also, take a look at this solution that solved the problem for someone else:

  • IOS 10.0.2 WiFi not connecting

    Hello

This morning, I had a problem with my IPad 4 (MK6J2B/A) and my Iphone 6s (MKQN2B/A).

Both devices unloaded during the night and the charge in the morning, both devices would not connect to my WiFi (BT Home Hub 6) even though they have both been previously connected to my WiFi for weeks. Both have a checkmark beside the connection, but not the WiFi icon in the upper left corner. Safari says not connected to the internet. I tried several thing, like plane, reset BT Hub etc., but both have refused to sign. I did a reset on both devices and the Iphone came back and logged in as normal. However, the Ipad has refused to connect or at least with the WiFi icon.

Surfing on the net and found a large number of people with the same problems. Followed suggestions, as I forgot network password and enter again, reset network etc, but nothing has worked. The only option to reset the whole device and start again. BUT when I tried to remove and delete, of course has been asked to enter my Apple ID to continue. No internet so would not remove.

I have a hotspot Wifi BT close to home then I connected with that and she. This should make me stop and think that it was something inside the House, but once again, SO I continued and deleted the IPad. From the start of my cool Ipad, follow the instructions until it is necessary to connect to the internet. Had even a tick but no icon of Wifi and no internet, so no way to rebuild or restore my Ipad. SCREAMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Out the laptop to rebuild through iTunes, which was obsolete, then click on update and google in the meantime, no problems with the iPad, but with iPad connection to BT Home hub 6. Found a very small post with similar problems and he said to disconnect the hub (WIRED) AppleTV. As soon as I pulled the plug on the AppleTV my iPad connected instantly.

Wow what a waste of two hours of my life. Don't know if it's hub problem AppleTV or BT, or both, but my AppleTV is now to stay on the WiFi connection and NO cable connection in the future.

Hope that my pain will help someone else to solve the same problems.

So thank you for much for this!

I had this thing this morning, 1 iPad a household of 6 different devices does not connect.  My Apple TV has been connected via WIFI, I just turned off of Apple TV - box and connected iPad itself.

This happened only a day after the installation of a HomeHu6...

  • iMac does not connect to wifi

I have a 2011 27 iMac 3.1 ghz with i5. I'm under El Capitan 10.11.6 which is the most updated version.

I never had a problem with before wireless. Recently, my iMac had to enter the bar of genius due to graphics card failure. Costing almost 400GBP to difficulty, I was relieved to finally get it to the House, only to find that he now does connect to our wifi network. I have connected the iMac to the router with a cable, but it is super slow. I spent a few nights now on these forums, try to find a solution, but more similar questions are a few years ago and the measures do not appear to be feasible on my computer. I'm not very technical, but I went through a similar thread of 14 pages which had some "bugs", but none of them worked. It of my last card before having to postpone the huge computer in the Apple store again and takes care of a lot of money

  • NO WIFI

Hi, I have a problem with my old macbook aluminum unibody late 2008 model (el capitan), it there is no way to find the "WIFI" icon on the status bar, also when I open 'report system' and made scroll to "Wifi" cela it as information shows:

Then when I go to 'System Preferences' > 'network' there is no WIFI option to choose...

Is my airport card damage? or is there a way to reinstall the driver from the airport for my model of macbook late 2008 el capitan running? I hope someone could help me... Thank you in advance...

Are you sure there is only a card installed Wi - Fi that works? If not, then he is dead and must be replaced. If you actually use 10.11.3 as shown in your profile, you can try this: download and install OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 Combo Update.
