Call blackBerry Smartphones Wifi icon disappeared

I have a Bold 9900 and had wifi calls (voice of BBM) installed and working for months. Recently, my voice BBM icon has disappeared. How can I reinstall? I have to delete BBM and install again?

Hello Mac and welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

Sorry to hear that you are having a problem with BBM.

Under Options > device > application management, which is the Version listed BBM?

When you go to www.blackberry.com/bbm on your device browser and go into install BBM, do you have a prompt to replace the same version or install a new one?

Thank you!

  • My blackBerry Smartphones calendar icon disappeared. How can I restore it!

Hoping someone can help because the 'experts' at the sprint store were clueless and I searched the site of support without success.  I am a new user.  Everything by moving my icons around the calendar icon disappeared!  How can I restore it?  Thanks much for any help you can give.

I did it for myself once. It tuns out I somehow put in with another icon. Appearantly some icons can be added to others - as what makes a subgroup within it. Can't remember what it I put it in tho, sorry.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Facebook icon disappeared

After the upgrade to Verizon 4.5 OS device my Facebook icon disappeared.  I checked and the application still appears in the list, but not an icon.  Help, please.  Thank you!

    Hello

Johnny, when I upgraded I got the same thing.  I had to delete the facebook application, and then reinstall it.  The icon appeared.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Email icon disappeared

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for any help you can give. I am very new to Blackberry and now own the storm. I have a problem with an icon for an e-mail account which seems to have disappeared. Its probably something simple, something I've hit or hurt, but I would like to restore it if I can.

Initially, it took three e-mail accounts. Each appeared on the view of the "Office" of the storm with their own icon. They worked perfectly for the first 8 days I have had the device. So today, one of the icons of the email simply disappeared. I still get mail on all three. I get the same opinions that I get all the way to (the small square message icon and a number, a (*) on message folder icon and a (*) on the icon for the account of that the email has been sent), but miss me the icon on the desktop for email #3.

Everything seems to be ok in settings/Email setup I can say.  I tried a soft reboot by removing the battery for a minute and then restart the device, but the e-mail icon was not. Then I tried to delete the email account #3 and put it back. He confirmed the deletion. It reinstalled correctly, and I get by email for this account, as before. But I don't always have this icon on the desktop showing.  I tried a soft reboot. No luck.

Any advice on how to restore the icon on the desktop?  I like the original configuration, with the main folder of Messages showing and the other three icons email it with her on the first line.

Thanks again in advance for any help.

    Dale

I found it, there was something in this same menu that says 'Hide', and apparently I checked it somehow. I unchecked it and my folder icon now shows correctly.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, bifocals. Very much appreciated.   Happy holidays

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BBM icon disappeared...

All of a sudden I have no BBM on my 9670. I tried to download it again, but the message said that my (OS6) operating system is not supported. I check the OS updates and I'm using the latest version for my device. Help, please. I need my BBM!

You have no BBM, or there is no BBM icon?  Let's first make sure you he disappeared completely from your phone, then we'll see it reinstalled.

From your home screen, go to Options > device > management applications and air to BlackBerry Messenger.  If it is listed in the list, select it with the cursor, press the menu key and select Remove.  Now that we are sure he disappeared, the battery while your phone is turned then replace it.

Your next step is to go to www.blackberry.com/messenger from your phone's browser and download it again from there.  Try and see if you get the same error message.

Let us know if that helps you.

  • Contacts and blackBerry Smartphones BBM icon disappeared

I downloaded a new version of BB Appworld a few days ago, and since then my BBM icon and contacts have disappeared. No luck, I looked in the Instant Messaging folder, the apprlications and the downloadswith. I took the battery and released on the phone so many times and failed. When I look in my APPS list, is to show that I have installed the BB Messenger, but then when I click on it, I don't see's comments, recommend and screenshots. I tried to see if I can uninstall and then download it everywhere, but I was not able to do it anymore. I tried to work with the technical support of my carrier without success. Help, please!

    1. On your BlackBerry, go to Options > advanced > Applications.
    2. Highlight BBMessenger and click it, just highlight it.
    3. Press Menu > delete. Leave it to delete.
    4. After that is completed, make a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
    5. Now, after reboot, use your browser to BlackBerry to access this URL: www.blackberry.com/messenger
    6. Click on the link to download it... don't go back to AppWorld to download, do it right from this URL.

    Let me know what happens.

  • BlackBerry smartphone App icons disappear from the home screen

    Hello

I had to wipe my Priv, I typed the wrong password (when changed, I probably did not notice a mistake I made).

Thanks to the backup, I extract all my applications.

The problem is that I don't have the icons of the apps on my home screen once again, and I can't figure out how to do again.

    Any idea?

    Thank you

Yes, if you never download a launcher, which should be BlackBerry Launcher. I hope that BlackBerry will hear you I mean maybe they will understand the home backup screen. :-)

  • BlackBerry smartphones my icons disappeared!

I had previously organized my icons in 3 separate files.  So I decided to have just two folders, so I moved all the icons in one of the other folders.  So, I had a folder with nothing in it and tried to delete it.  As a first step, the file would not go far, but when I turned on my BB later, everything was gone.  When I click on the nothing affects menu happens at all.  The only way I found that I could go any where must enter the camera and click the menu and then select "change apps."  But none of the icons/applications that might be useful to solve this are available.  I wonder if the best solution would be to download the new operating system.  Any other ideas?  Thank you

    Hello

The 523 error indicates two solutions:

    (1) remove recently installed applications:

    (2) the device OS.

    Remove Applications:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones alarm icon disappeared

I went to move my alarm/app icon and it disappeared from my home screen. It is not hidden, just disappeared.

    Help

I have to wake up on the road!

    Welcome to the forums

From the home screen, go to the screen of the application and check to see if the icon is hidden by pressing menu > show all. Also check your application screen records in case you accidentally swipes in one of them (for example, documents to go file).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones sms icon disappeared!

can anyone help? I feel so lost without my bb. I was delete msgs in my Inbox and then next thng I know my whol sms icon is gone! Ive tried all the possible things and he ain't! :-(

Reloading your operating system should bring back your SMS icon.

Connect your phone to your PC via USB and open the Desktop Manager.  If you have not installed, go to www.blackberry.com and look up for Apps & Software.  The link will be there.

Once you have your phone on and Desktop Manager is open, click device at the top and then update the menu.  You could get a command prompt that your phone is up to date.  It's OK.  Under this prompt, search to display the other Versions.  Click on that.  The version installed on your phone is expected to be the top one in the list.  Ensuring that you keep this checked, click Update and wait it out.

Let us know how it works.

  • Message icon new blackBerry Smartphones don't disappear

    Hey everybody!

I got two Blackberry, but I am new to the community.  I swapped my Pearl for the Curve 8330 a couple of days.  The new message icon is displayed permanently.  It started with three, then four, and now six.  I have read several forums and tried to pull my battery several times.  I even deleted my email account and set up again.  I went through all my files to see if there's a message hidden somewhere.  I can't find something.  Does anyone else have this problem?  Apart from doing a factory restore and/or call Verizon does anyone have suggestions on how I can reset the counter?  Moreover, my career is Verizon!

Thank you in advance for your help!

I took my phone to Verizon today and felt really stupid when the man made the icon disappears.  On older versions of the Blackberry phones, like the Pearl I had, if you had a missed call and click on the button send, he allowed the missed call.  Since it's updated software, you must actually click on the missed call to erase it.  Since then, I changed the settings of call logging not appears in my messages.  So I hope it helps someone else who was having the same problem as me!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Messenger disappeared after update

I downloaded the new update to Blackberry Device Software v5.0 yesterday, and I discovered that my Blackberry Messenger has disappeared.  Here's what I tried to get it back (and none of them worked):

1A tried to 'restore' my BBM several times

2 reset (pull out the battery) on my phone several times

    3. delete the "restore BBM" button/option (which, for whatever reason, deleted my application AppWorld) and re-installed BBM

My phone details are below.  If you have any suggestions on how I can fix this, please help!  I love BBM and I would like to start using it again.

Thank you very much in advance!

KB10151 BlackBerry Messenger icon does not appear on the BlackBerry smartphone

I found the fix that works is to remove the app BBMessenger Options > Advanced > Applications.

Then restart: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Once back to the top, then use your BlackBerry browser to go to http://www.blackberry.com/blackberrymessenger and download and install the application again.

Once completed and restart the device once again, look in the instant messaging or downloads folder.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Messenger disappeared

I tried the update Blackberyy Messenger by downloading and installing a later version on being invited by the Blackberry World. Later, I realized that BB Messenger is gone off my phone, but App World it says it is installed. I tried to remove and reinstall and it won't allow me. Help, please.

    Hi TroymanMartin

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

First try a battery pull restarts, if it is still impossible to locate and remember it's not hidden, to check that the screen is in the Panel Home screen ALL > press the Menu key and select "Show all icons" or icon to display "." It will show all of the icons that were previously hidden. If you see BlackBerry Messenger icon like grayed then highlight it and press the Menu key and select the icon to display, also search your folders as the Application of Instant Messaging folder, etc..

If it is still impossible, then try reinstalling the BBM, but first on your homescreen go to Options > device > application management > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list.
