WiFi pilot g560

Hello!

I just reinstalled Windows 7. Everything went well but the wifi does not work. Research on the Lenovo Site, I found about five Lan Wireless different drivers and could not decide which one to take. I tried one after another, nor worked...

I also tried to do the 'parts' search, but he said that my serial number does not exist.

Management of energy is installed, the physical wireless switch is the wifi is enabled in the bios and press the shortcut.

G560

model 0679

S/N cbg3077267

It would be nice if someone could help me, a laptop without wifi is pretty useless to me. Thank you!

I found the right driver, this is the file of the pilot ending... 48ww5.

Can be found in the driver downloads. works very well.

.. .but I still don't understand why the research part does not know my series.

Thank you!

TEMPRO gave me 2 new drivers, but received instructions.

BIOS setting has been an operation involving the driver of the copy on a disk and then to change to start with disk boot order.
However, I think that the new BIOS drivers are installed with running Windows - like a normal program. Does anyone know for sure?

I guess the wifi pilot is a normal installation, with the wifi on or off?

    Hello

    Just a question;
Is an update of the driver WLan and BIOS update needed?
I mean; you have problems with your laptop where these updates would be necessary?

You should not update if everything is OK. in most cases the Tempro informs you about the drivers and tools that are uploaded on the page of the driver, but it is not a recommendation for an update, you know what I mean?

I'm always this trick; never change a running system.

  • CommView for Wifi pilot

Try using the 4.2.2.104 network card driver (AR5006X) also called net5211-Commview for Wifi - but the Device manager says that there is something wrong and gives me code 10.  I have the Atheros 5007 802 WIRELESS network adapter. 11 b/g.  At first, I thought maybe that the pilot was not compatible with my card, but I looked on the site of tamos, and my card is indeed supported by commview for wifi.  So basically, every time I install the 4.2.2.104 driver, my WIFI is turned off and I can't connect to the internet.  Tamos site said that I could use commview for wifi in dual mode, so I don't know what is happening.  I have vista, is this why? Help?

    Hello TA1LGUNN3R, welcome.

I have confirmed that your adapter is supported:
"Atheros Wireless Network adapt (AR5001 through AR5007).

My recommendation would be to try this driver I put together located here:

Should not be a Vista issue, as this card has been reported to run without problem.

  • WiFi pilot slows down the closing of Windows 7

Since I installed the new driver for Ralink Wireless LAN RT3572, it slowed the computer "Shut Down" for more than two minutes, I can't compromise uninstall it because it connects to 3 times the speed of the former driver, is there a work around for this annoying question?

Changing the value of 'WaitToKillServiceTimeOut' in the registry did not a thing. Disabling all other programs and start-up services did nothing either, only by uninstalling the driver Wi - Fi done shuts Windows down without any delay.

    Hello

Check with any 3rd part antivirus/security program where there is a conflict with a
of them. You can reinstall the driver and uninstall 3rd party antivirus then
Run the removal of its creator tool to see if that clears the issue. Use the clean boot method
to see if any conflict can be determined. (Even if the chances are, it's the driver itself.)

  • WiFi pilot keeps Dissappearing!

My Wifi drivers keeps developing of disappearance and Ethernet sign guard appearing with the "Cable not connected" error as if I was using Ethernet and not Wifi and I changed my windows too, I've upgraded to windows 8 but problem seems to fix

    Help, please!

    Hi Uzaira,

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community.

Regarding this question, I need more information.

    (1) you have an antivirus running when you attempt to install the driver?

I suggest check the network connections to make sure that you have a network icon/entry wireless connection, and that the properties of the icon (right-click on the icon) are correctly configured with the TCP/IPv4 protocol in the properties of network connections and make sure firewall without considerate / blocks wireless components to join the network.

I recommend reinstall network drivers and see if that helps.

I also suggest you to check the settings of your wireless adapter power management and see if that helps.

    1. open the network and sharing Center (click the Start button, type network and sharing in the search box and press enter)
    2. click on the link change settings card in the upper left corner of the navigation pane.
    3. right click on the connection that you want to turn on network power management support , and then click on Properties.
    4. click set.
    5. on the power management tab, select or clear allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box.
    A. When checked, power management is enabled on the network adapter.
    (B) when authorized, power management is disabled on the network adapter.
    6. you can enable Wake on LAN for all methods of wake or just enable magic packet WoL:
To enable Wake on LAN for all methods, check the allow this device to wake the computer check box.
To enable Wake on LAN for a magic packet only, check allow it this device to wake the computer check box, and then check allow only a magic packet to wake the computer check box.
    7. click on OK.

Alternatively, you can refer to Microsoft article to set power management.

  • problem installing WiFi pilot

Thanks ss-007. It would certainly be a driver problem. First you must identify the network device installed in your laptop, there are 10 possibilities for that make of the laptop as evidenced by the selection of the driver here: HP Pavilion dv6-7002tu Entertainment Notebook PC Drivers

You may be able to restore the original network drivers using this method: use of the Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 7)

Also make sure you have the latest version of the BIOS: updated the BIOS
Here's the latest version for your laptop: HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel processors) Version F.29

Let me know how this turns out.

  • A WiFi just stopped working on my Satellite A300

I bought a Toshiba Satellite A300 (Vista) and it all started very well. The second day my wifi only stop while I was online... just after does not do anything and now I can't turn it on. The touch wifi and FN + F8 is running. Configfree even can see if the wifi button is on or off, but I do not see the wireless connections (theres allows to be 5 - 6 of them where I live... so theres nothing wrong with the router).

I can add that there's no conflict in the wireless card and all drivers are up to date. Is this a hardware problem? What are my opptions here?

It could just be a software problem. Have you recently installed a firewall or Internet Security program? Try to disable them.

If this does not help, run recovery to reinstall Windows to its factory condition, and then try again. If it still does not work, then it might be a problem with the hardware. First, try a BIOS update and the update of the Wifi pilot before you send the laptop to an ASP for repairs.

  • Satellite M60 guard give up WiFi connection

An M60-144, I provided one of my clients has problems with its WiFi connection. It will be ok for 5 to 10 minutes, and then suddenly will drop the connection. Turning off the WiFi and back on again remakes the connection and everything is very well for 5 or 10 minutes.

The access point is a Draytek Vigor 2600 G and there are other laptop (Portege R100, R200 Portege and Tecra 9000 Tecra A2) that all connect to the same access point to the same place without any problem. The AP employs 128-bit WEP encryption runs in mode 11b and 11g of mixtures. Any other potential sources of interference, for example the DECT phones have been rejected.

The laptop has all the updates of Windows applied and drivers the most recent site. For me, it screams of a hardware problem with the wireless card, but wanted to know if there are other suggestions first?

    Hello

I read a few topics on similar problems and in most cases, the update of the WiFi pilot solves the unstable Wi - Fi connection. As far as I know on the Intel Web site you will also find a newer version of the driver. In my opinion, you should check this option.

  • T450s wifi failed after the system update

    I have a t450s, aged about 6 months.

Everything works very well. Got a notification via the application of the system upgrade lenovo. It included bios and wifi. I installed the update, all right. Reset the phone it's self after installation.

    No error at any time.

When I connect now, the wifi card is not recognised and the network card is not recognized.

Any suggestions? I tried a roll in installed applications. No luck.

    Tapping on my tablet.

    Had the free time...

Can't be a hardware fault - I ran a live CD Ubuntu 14.4 version, that could access and the use of the wifi card without any problems.

Then, I found a site that had some old copies of the wifi pilot. Tried a couple of them drank was a success with 17.12.0.4

Everything seems to work now, but I need to give it a full test tonight.
