  Suppose you have a view according to a SYS objects that gets invalidated when you upgrade your catalog. You reference this view with % ROWTYPE in a stored procedure and forms. Also, the stored procedure will be cancelled, but the database is able to establish the procedure. The fmx file, however, is not able to compile itself. So it is possible, you can run into trouble.

But the signature of the procedure has changed, and forms will throw an ORA-4062 respecive if you recompile.
