  I guess it's a problem of compatibility between the leopard to snow & iOS 10 but, as a Test:

  Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. In the menu that appears, select 'Create Library'

• Canon 80 d will not import raw in lightroom

  I just bought the new Canon 80 d after having the work of 5dm 2 and 70 d Canon very well during the import. The new d 80 raw images will not import into lightroom.   You should see "version 2015.5" near the top of the "About" box  What do you see?

  If you do not see "version 2015.5" then you don't have the latest version.

  The 80 d Canon requires 2015.5 or v6.5

  Anthing less won't matter to the D 80. (unless CR2s converted to DNG in the free Adobe DNG Converter)

  I could not import new images into Lightroom 5 on a brand new Macbook Pro.  Lightroom 4 works fine, but the new Creative Cloud Lightroom 5 says that the images are unreadable.  The folks at Adobe have yet to be able to understand by phone and I find myself waiting for too long.  The images will be important in IPhoto so no problem. All are of the FIRST.

  You must check in the Finder using get info (command-I). Make sure that the destination you set in Lightroom has permission to write to you. Also check that the destination is really in the right place and not trying to write to a folder root on your main hard drive or something like double.

  OK... something to try...

  Connect the camera to the computer via a USB cable and
  Turn on the camera.

  Reach... Start / computer / removable devices
  Storage...

  Look at the drive letters and see if one of them
  represents the camera. He can say removable disk

  If the camera is recognized... right click on the drive letter
  and from the menu choose... Open or explore.

  The directory of the memory card in the camera must

  To copy photos from a CD, you must open the optical drive in "Computer", and then copy and paste the files to the disk in a folder "Images" - then you'd be able to open them in the library.

  If you attach the camera to your computer, it appears under start/devices and printers like the Canon EOS 7 d?

  In any case, I think you should move the firmware to 1.2.5 as it was setting so some CF related issues. Maybe this will help for you. You can get the http://usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/slr_cameras/eos_7d#DriversAndSoftware firmware installation is easy and takes only a few minutes.

  1. were you able to import photos before without any problem?

  This error message occurs when you try to transfer the same pictures again.

  You can try to cut and paste the images using Windows Explorer and check.

  Alternatively, you can try to delete or rename the database file that checks the duplicates.

  Navigate to the location next and Pictures.pd4 and rename it to Pictures.pd4.old or remove the file and check.

  C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Photo Gallery\Pictures.pd4 (or sometimes.pd5) and rename

  I have a Sony RX100 and 5.7 LR matter files ARW ok, however I just bought an A7 Mk2 and Lightroom will not import this camera ARW files. I downloaded CameraRaw 8 so I can convert the files first and then import into LR, but it seems strange that I can't import and convert from LR itself from the inside.
