Will this affect the other partitions of hard drive?

I have a window 7 Home Premium x 64 OEM pre-installed in a hidden in my hard disk partition.  If I created a VM with VMware Player it will affect the hidden OEM partition?

Hi Bluetone51,

Welcome to the forums.

A virtual machine is detected by the operating system host in the form of group files, but he doesn't know what's inside these files. Only the application of the player is aware of the guest OS.

The virtual machine itself knows what is inside these files, it's his world, and he is not aware of anything else outside.

When you install VMware player on your existing operating system, and then create a virtual machine, you create two completely separate worlds.

So, to answer your question: no, the guest inside your virtual machine will not affect your hidden partition.

It may be useful

Sums up the issue there. Sell a laptop so I need to remove Firefox that has my personal data, but I wonder if it will affect the other [sync] laptop that I will keep.

Yes, you should be fine. As long as you don't remove all the information in one of the Firefox whereas it is synchronized, the information will be kept in the rest of the devices synced.

You have 2 options. Completely remove the Firefox or unsync the device that you want to stop using.

    I hope this can help,

  • Wanting to buy photoshop lightroom addresses but will in the next few months how will this affect the license for its installed on a new laptop pc? and do I have to have 2 licenses for use on 2 computers?

    Hello

I am very interested in this special offer for photoshop and lightroom agreement. But in a few months will buy a laptop computer for easy use.

The PC will be used primarily for the storage of pictures, but I could use the lightroom on PC and laptop or would I need 2 licenses?

Thank you in advance for any help and sorry if this question is so stupid.

He's not stupid, but I guess that you are referring to a cloud offering. If so, if you had looked into the terms of use, you would have seen that you can install your software on two separate computers so he only used by a single person and activated with the same Adobe ID. So you can put on your current computer, and then install a copy on a new one when you get it.

  • In Windows 7, is it possible to combine the two partitions of hard drive to add space?

Installed Windows7 - 2 disks - C and E of data which is almost empty - running out of space on C - both drives can be combined?

If there is not a lot on drive E, you can move the content to C, and then in disk management

    E delete.

Then extend C to fill the space E occurred.

It is also possible with a third party to the partitioning tool without moving anything

Not really.  If you change your mind, you can change the default drive to what it is now.

  • How will this affect my limit of 500 contract EULA to submit the forms?

I'll post the LiveCycle Forms on our Web site and users can then submit the web form and and receive it in my email box. If any changes need to be made, I will return and request a review. Finally, when it is finished, I send the finished shape to a ton of people in the Organization to use the form data and imput what they must use it. The form must be sent and present in the email for verification purposes.

Will this affect my agreement? The form gets usually filled maybe 25 times a month...

If you have configured the form so that it sends only the data of the form (FDF, XFDF, etc.), it is useless to readers - activate the form. Therefore, the returned 500 form limit does not apply, because it applies only to the forms enabled for the drive. A FDF or XFDF file can easily be imported using Acrobat in a blank form, causing it to be filled with data in FDF/XFDF data file. You can then view, print and archive the populated form.

To clarify a point mentioned this Bill, if you place a Reader-enabled document on a web server so that it is accessible by more than 500 users, you actually distributed the document to more than 500 users. Therefore, you are limited by the license of Acrobat using not more than 500 cases of the form enabled (including paper copies) which have been returned to you.

Any help would be grateful because I don't want to ruin the ability of the touch screen.

Although technically it should not change anything about it either (upgrade that is) it * may *.

Ideal if you have a system image to restore in the case where it does.  Also - Check your drivers are all up to date for all (by actually visiting the manufacturer of the site's web - ignore all Windows utility that you say that you have the latest drivers.)  If you do these two things - you should be in all cases.

If you make backups - better start.

I have to ask, however, why you upgrade?  Need domain join capabilities (generally useless to be a member to use the computer resources)?  Must be able to use remote desktop to find this specific computer (remote) (other utilities do not work for you)?  Want to use file/disk encryption (and third-party tools do not work for you)?  You can use dynamic disks?  Maybe you're eager to Windows XP Mode for something?  Need to be able to switch languages?

I ask only because for most people, the upgrade to professional or ultimate edition is not necessary and is a cost that they could save money for something else on...

Could resemble this comparison table to see what you could win - and then see if there is a free third-party software that would give you the same offers for free (and probably a better way - like Remote Desktop vs TeamViewer free.)

  • the size of your hard drive is not supported for this process. Please use a hard drive at least GB in size

Whenever I try to use my restore disks of backup with the image of the system when I bought my Dell 8300 desktop computer I get this error message (your hard drive is not taken in charge for this process. Please use a hard drive at least GB in size.

Here's my problem. I changed the Sata AHCI RAID mode I could create a partition then my Windows 7 downloaded CD Windows 7... my CD of drivers dell drivers, but now I'm unable to use my system restore CD to restore like I always do when I have a problem. When I changed the sata mode to AHIC on load it says (lack of operating system)

I'm not very technical, so if someone can show me step by step on what I should do or give me a call [Admin Note: personal information removed] I would appreciate it a lot. I've added a few pictures as well

Large. I am pleased that my DBAN guide has helped you.

Now that you are on the factory settings, I advise Dell DataSafe Local Backup uninstall and upgrade to the latest version of Dell backup and restoration which has many bugs/improvements, including the ability to restore to another hard drive which is useful in case the hard disk fails in the future or you decide to upgrade later to an SSD. The XPS 8300 running perfectly with a SSD, I have mine put in place with one. Then you can create a Rescue Disk (external hard drive Bootable) or Backup factory (Bootable USB Flash Drive) that will be promoted the recovery compared to the facts media with Dell DataSafe Local Backup. See here for more details:

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/Dell-backup-and-recovery/

Note This is not a UEFI BIOS (he missed just out on the passage to the UEFI) but may start from an external hard drive.

    Hello

Start Windows Explorer, and then see if there is a drive letter assigned for access to the
drive. If this is not the case, check if the disc is shown in disk management.

    1. Open Computer Management by clicking on the button start , by clicking on Control Panel, system and security, clicking Administrative Tools and then double-click computer management. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. In the left pane, under storage, click Disk Management.

If there has made a right click option - assign a drive letter for you can use Windows
    Explorer to copy files.

    I hope this helps.

I have Windows 7, but I want to partition my hard drive and put windows 7 on both so that I can go from 1 to 10 of Windows when it comes out.  How can I do this? Thank you

You have an additional single license for this additional installation? You can not activate multiple installations using the same key. 1 product key, 1 installation.

Please see the following article with useful information about dual-boot:

If I upgrade windows 7 to windows 8, will this affect my product key of windows 7 and how?

you get a new product key for Windows 8, if something goes wrong and you need to go back to windows 7, as long as you have the product key for windows 7, you should be fine.

If can not install windows 8 it will return you to Windows 7 with the windows product key 7

My subscription has expired, but I received a renewal notice. I have re-subscribed but will be not emotional until June 30 (July 1). Will this affect my cloud programs?

    Hi Dave,.

This will not affect your programs of cloud.

Whenever you renew a subscription, you must not uninstall the applications already installed.

Just log out of the desktop application Adobe CC and then log in.

Connect and disconnect activate Cloud Creative applications
