Win 7 professional XP Mode installation loop

I downloaded all 3 files. When I choose START - PROGRAMS - WINDOWS VIRTUAL PC - WINDOWS XP MODE, I get an error message telling me I need to download and install the configuration file and clicking 'Download' brings back me to the same page that I download from. When I try to download again, three files tell me that the file is already installed.

But now I want to upgrade to Win XP Professional

When I bought the CD in Win XP Professional to install it on my machine, he asked me a few drivers for hardware, but these drivers are not available on the CD that came with my TOSHIBA laptop.

And when I ask the Merchant (Jarira book stores) on how to install WIN XP Professional, they said, that Win XP Professional will not run in laptop A30-213

    It is amazing to me!

How THOSHIBA recommend Win XP professional and home edition in laptops offer?

And if it is possible to install Win Xp professional in my laptop, how to install it?

    Hello

Yes it is possilbe to ru XP prof on a Satellite A30.
When you bought the laptop, you have a CD of tools & utilities. There are all the XP drivers included and this CD can also be used to XP prof. There is no difference!

You must run Setup XP prof and do not install any driver installation. Then after completing the installation, you must take your Tools & Utilities CD and look for an html file. This file contains the proper installation order. After that, you can start to install the drivers in this order!

If you can't find all the drivers, that I could not brewed, you could go to https://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com, Support & downloads and downloads Dirver.
There are all versions of current driver for download!

  • Win 7 - Windows XP Mode - command prompt window size

I just bought a Win 7 Professional machine and downloaded the Windows XP Mode so that I could run programs (BACK) more elders (such as WP 5.1).  Works very well.  With the help of my XP Pro (and more) older machines, pressing 'Alt-Enter' would give me a full screen.  This does not work with Windows XP Mode.  Tried it with the right button on the label of the command line, even if the option is there to provide a 'full screen', all that appears is the half left.  The right margin cannot be moved.  Then, at the opening of WP, the lower margin is pulled up to do, I guess, "proportional".  I spent a lot of money on this machine I think could use XP Mode on a correct XP machine, but if I can't get a full screen, I will be MASSIVELY disappointed.  No help available?

  • How to restore partition factory settings after installing Win 7 Professional and after having lost everything as a result.

I have a netbook with a partition that has win7 starter installed.  I unfortunately poorly installed windows 7 Professional and now have nothing available which was originally on the computer.  Everything was wiped clean including my ability to use / access my wireless, ethernet controller, pci, etc..  I tried repeatedly to recover the partition back to factory settings, but it won't give me the option to select the partition.  I guess that's because they are all two Windows 7.  Can you help me get it back to windows 7 edition starter of the partition so I can restore all the factory settings and programs.  I haven't lost any information or files that I loaded win7professtional as soon as I turned it on.  I have restore points, images, etc.

When I installed Win 7 Professional, not old Info windows.old file but I don't know how to access that is.

    Help, please?  Thank you

The Windows.old folder has two objectives:
    (1) can be used to uninstall Windows 7 and return your PC to the previous version of Windows.
    (2) contains a backup of all your files of data, documents, photos, Etc. from the previous version of Windows.

If you don't need either of these two options can delete the Windows.old folder. In your case if you can access the "recovery Partition" to restore the windows and then back the Windows.old folder before you begin.

Note: Option to change Windows Explorer to see the Windows.old folder:
Click on start and enter in the box "Search": "hidden" (without the quotes)
Click on the "Show the hidden files and folders" option at the top of the list.
    In the "Folder Options" window
Click the 'view' if it is not already selected.
In the list "Advanced settings" locate "hidden files and folders".
Now click 'show files and folders '.
    Then, disable the following:
"Hide empty drives in the computer folder.
"Hide the extensions of the file types that you want to know."
    "Hide protected operating system files"

Click on the "Apply" button and the OK"" button.

  • Trying to Win 7 Home Premium to Win 7 Professional. It forces me to turn on the system restore, but I don't want to. How can I proceed?

Just got a new Dell laptop. Have restored to factory settings again. I am trying to upgrade to Win 7 home premium to win 7 professional. The first time I did it, it took place without a hitch. But this second everyone, it won't continue unless I turn on system restore. But from what I've read in the dialog box, if I turn on system restore, I fear he would write on the factory saved settings. And I don't want to do that. I guess the economies of the plant are in the "Recovery" folder that is separate from the C drive.

Turn on system restore, if necessary replace the factory settings in the folder "recovery"? Thanks for the help.

You have installed?  Which means that you went down and bought Windows XP all by himself in a retail establishment and it is a retail license, not a cheaper OEM license?

I asked a tech savvy friends to help me buy. He brought me a real CD, a product with COA and a manual Win XP key (they came sealed) and reception. It cost me about $160 (actually 7800 Indian rupees). I still have the COA product key, hologrammed CD sticker.

The CoA sticker wasn't on the hard plastic case?  Sounds like an OEM version - which once installed is "linked" to this computer/motherboard.
