Win 7 vs Apple iPhone vs vs iTunes Sanity

Hello!

It's maybe just me, but I feel like I want to scream when I try to use a PC, iTunes (the root of evil) and matched my iPhones. Just because I like more than a flavor of "kool-aid" some geek business punishing me. I'm sure that he or she monitor my movements and maniacal laugh whenever I try to do something productive on these platforms. I do not like the fruity flavor of laptops, desktop computers, or even me is important to their music players. They don't fit, or do not match them. I can buy a Win8 (talk about intuitive) phone at some point, but I digress...
My real problem is that I need an alternative to iTunes, which works on both formats and does not make me want to sacrifice my cat, Bill to the gods 'computer' to make things smooth and easy. All I really need to do is save my data, applications and this to my PC. (& restore these data). with both sync my Google products (calendar, contacts, etc.). I don't want to change phones - it's the only product they have that I really like.
Any suggestions would be welcome and appreciated! Have heard of double twist and a few others, I don't really know what they are and if they are safe.
Thanks again,
Bruce B

Hi GKC.,.

Thanks for the input of the forum.

Interesting way to ask a question.

It does not necessarily easier to understand the question.

I will sum up to make sure I understand the question.

the problem is related to back up the Windows Phone 8.

then you have questions about software that supports all 2 platforms and features.

of the contact / calendar sync form e-mail accounts

you have a few choices.

1. back to the top is on the windows Phone and it is stored on your Microsoft Account. (you do have access to the back up, which is by design)

(to restore you can do this only if you reset the phone and configure the phone with sign in.)

2. on the windows Phone 8, you can use the Explorer to synchronize music videos photos and co or the desktop application.

The following links will guide you.

all information can be found on the page http://windowsphone.com

3. e-mail contacts.

You have a few options.

You can link together the accounts on the Microsoft account, if you connect to http://outlook.com e-mail settings.

You can add all your email addresses on the phone in settings then mail and account. (this is the best way, then you see what comes from the place where.)

contacts and calendar are synchronized automatically if enabled or authorized.

Best regards

Vasile M.
