It may be true for YT player however since you say that it is resized in native mode - nothing, most likely, a problem with the way which manage you objects in mode full screen. Difficult to say without seeing the code.

I use my Win XP VM to a programme on Access 2003 VBA and generally run in mode full screen to simplify the use of the PF keys, with the command bar top of page in auto-hide mode. The only other programs I run on my VM is Security Suite that comes free with Fusion 2.0 and Microsoft OneNote 2003, I use actively in taking notes that I work.
