WIN 8 OS not installing\ graphics driver not responding\ OS crashing from time to time

Name: SAM

Product: Pavillion G6 2231tx Notebook pc

Serial number: {content removed}

Operating system (OS): Windows 8

MY OS is getting crashed whenever I install it by a technician and it is more than 10 times.

engineers are also not sure about the problem.

I have a flicking screen

When I play a game, my system hangs.

When I switch to graphical mode high-performance for the windows image: my screen turns white and stops

These specifications are the correct factory for your laptop?

What is your laptop?

If so, it indicates that this device has not been tested or certified for Windows 8. I suspect that the biggest part of the problem is that the drivers of the switchable graphics system is not compatible with Windows 8. Windows 8 has changed the architecture of pilot from 1.0 to 1.1 + and this breaks the switchable graphics feature and causes some strange problems occur.

If the information that I work with is incorrect, please let me know.

From the information I have, switchable graphics driver must be installed by using the compatibility mode of Windows 8 in a specific order.

Try the steps listed in my post here for your switchable graphics platform. I think that it is at the heart of the issue that you are experiencing.

How can I see what backups are on the time capsule? My laptop is also saved to the time capsule. Everything is in 'Data' when I look through the Airport utility. Time Machine backup to a sparsebundle.

The sparsebundle will use the share name of computer. So, it should be obvious who is your Macbook and that is your Macpro.

Open the sparsebundle in Finder and keep open the subfolders until you get to the backup of each separate hard drive...

You has of course set the exclusion in Time Machine?

By default, Time Machine will exclude your second drive unless you have included it. Did you?

Once you get to this level during the backup, you can do a full restore manually whenever you want.

  • Qosmio screen X 875-black q7380 when installing graphics driver intel hd 4000

    Hello

I have a qosmio toshiba X 875-q7380 when starting Windows 8 screen was black and never started so I decided to move to W7, the installation has functioned well until I have install the display driver intel, then the screen is black and will not start.

If I press F8 and failsafe mode works well, I would uninstall the Intel graphics HD4000 card driver and then start normally.

Is there a solution to this problem?
    Thank you very much

    Hello

    > .when from Windows 8 screen was black and never started

The Toshiba Qosmio X 875 - Q7380 has been pre-installed and configured with Win 8 OS.
The laptop should run correctly using the factory settings which means that the use of Win 8 should not be a problem.

Intel HD graphics unit is part of the CPU. I m not very well, but I guess that the issue could be due to hardware problem CPU.

Of course this is only my personal opinion, but I think that in cases where the laptop does not work using the factory settings, malfunction of the equipment is possible.

  • Can I install graphic driver Intel on Satellite M40X-119?

Dear all, I have Satellite M40X-119 with Mobile Numtxpackets® 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express Chipset Family for the graphics card. I found an update on Intel's web site for the pilot, but it was written that "it is should not be used if the system has a third party graphics card", what does that mean?

Can I install the driver for my Toshiba laptop or not.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Marc

To my knowledge of Toshiba you recommend to use only the graphics drivers from Toshiba and if you want to use the drivers of manufacturing one another so you can do it at your own risk.
Some people have suggested that the graphics drivers from Toshiba are slightly changed due to overheating of the card. You know, if the laptop cooling modules get a limit of performance of the graphics card driver decreases the performance of the card in order to reduce the temperature.

I think the original Intel driver does not support this feature and that is why it s advisable to use the drivers from Toshiba.

    Hi @paresh12,

Welcome to the HP support community!

I read about your problem with the graphic driver not working not not on your HP Pavilion g6-1200tx Notebook. Your system uses the AMD Radeon HD 6470 M and the driver is located here.

You may need to put the laptop in Safe Modeand uninstall what you have there now, include the software and drivers.

This could help. In Device Manager, click the arrow next to display adapters to expand the category. Right-click on the graph, and then select Update driver software if more than 1 graphic adapter do 1 at a time.
Select search automatically for updated driver software.
The laptop must find and automatically install the updated driver
Once the installation is complete, restart your laptop.

    I hope this helps.

Please get back to me how that happens.

    Hello:

If the Intel HD graphics driver does not support of your laptop and driver page, try one directly from Intel.

The first file listed is the automatic installation file.

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/download/24785/Intel-IRIS-and-HD-graphics-driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bit

If this works, you should then be able to install the Nvidia graphics driver (for 3D video controller).

  • Satellite L875-116 turns off when installing graphics driver

Computer laptop L875-116 was caught in the cycle of continuous reboot (last driver loaded CLASSPNP. (SYS). Retrieved HARD drive recovery, but laptop still caught up in the cycle of rebooting to the 6/49 - graphics driver.

Attempt to retrieve the DVD, new was wobbling at 6/49, but eventually got to 49/49 after three hours.

Error with Catalyst software reports of (the age AMD) and only runs pilot generic VGA.

When tried to update the driver PC gets stuck in the new cycle of rebooting.

If uninstalling driver update (F8, last known good configuration) that's the generic VGA driver running.

The thoughts if it is hardware or software related?

    (Windows 7, 64-bit)

    > Any thoughts if this is hardware or software related?

In my opinion its hardware problem.
Eventually he s a graphics card problem.

Usually the laptop should work correctly after or during the process of recovery if it s not the case, then basically a hardware problem is the troublemaker

  • Newest graphics driver update makes kkkkk crash

I have a Pro Surface. I've been running the beta version of kkkkk for awhile. Worked pretty well until yesterday. After that Windows Update has installed an updated graphics driver (Intel HD Graphics 4000), kkkkk crashes every time I try to run it. When I uninstalled kkkkk and tried to reinstall it, it wouldn't install. He gave me the message that my graphics driver was not recognized. I can try to roll back the driver or the generic Intel driver installation. Any other suggestions?

Roll back the previous driver has worked for me.  Seems the 5/14 update created an incompatibility with Karl.

  • Windows Explorer is not responding or crashes

I was one of the lucky ones with Vista; never had any problems until this past Saturday.  My computer is mainly used for the type of medical transcription.  I do using WavPedal and logging on the computer system of my clients through networks (drive Z mapping).  I also use Microsoft Office 7.  In my sandbox, I generally reduced my access to the patient of my clients files, WavPedal and Office 7.  Usually, 7 Desktop is maximized for type.  Saturday, Windows Explorer started to freeze or does not for a period of time (or at all) when I would switch from one program to another in my taskbar.  It's NEVER happened before.  Any 'gray out' and I gives me the options of closing, restarting or waiting for windows Explorer.  I can usually restart Windows but sometimes programs don't always work again immediately or not at all and I have to sometimes restart using ctrl/alt/delete.  This is not only frustrating, but slowly to the bottom of my productivity.

I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of to solve the problem, i.e. scan disk, Defrag disk, registry, cleaning, removal of old files, all to nothing does not.  ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS?

    Thank you

Often, a certain instability in Windows Explorer is due to the defective shell extensions and addons.
Consider using Sysinternals Autoruns or ShellExView. Disable Add-ons and non Microsoft shell extensions and verify the behavior.  If he went, reactivate the disabled extensions/add-ons, one at a time and see if you can identify who may be liable.
Try a clean boot, or boot into safe mode.  The behavior persists?
Any luck you have installed Groove? (Check the entries with Autoruns)

Firefox has been "unresponsive" to recent months. After a short period, he would answer.

    • Update all of your Firefox Plugins-> https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
    • During the installation of the Plugins download files hotfix, remove the check mark to download any other software options with your Plugins (for example, toolbars, McAfee, Google Chrome, etc.)
  • Does not and if crash every time I use lightroom

Its so frustrating everytime I try to turn the gpu of the program just says not responding do not... Nothing works I'll have to look at for the new program, as it is now costs me money

There is another way to manually turn off the GPU.

    Follow the instructions below:

    1. Stop Lightroom.
    2. Press windows and keys R to open the run window and type appdata and press enter
    3. Open roaming > Adobe > Lightroom > Preferences
    4. Open Lightroom 6 Preferences.agprefs with Notepad
    5. Change the following line: useAutoBahn = true to the useAutoBahn next = false
    6. Save and close this file.
    7. Launch of Lightroom and check.
